《Until Death? (Refleshed Version)》Chapter 77

***The Eternal Palace***
***Angrod***
I walk at a brisk pace towards Celes's laboratory. She didn’t leave the place since she discovered that we would have twins thanks to Seria’s shenanigan – plus her own pregnancy.
Groaning, I close my eyes. So that means that we are going to be adding three little bundles of happiness to the family.
While I walk, I hum a little song and balance a little orb of magical energy on my fingertip. It will be hard to convince Celes to put Eris’s soul into one of the children.
But I was moved and a little amused when Eris told me of her life’s story. She isn't a bad person at heart, just a little cowardly! Although, she got very far by manipulating people. That's a very valuable skill for managing a kingdom. Then there is also the little detail that she is practically already my daughter. If not in body, then in spirit at the very least. I would hate for one of my greatest creations to be wasted.
I arrive at the laboratory and open the door to take a look inside.
The lights are out, which means that the room is a little shady since it is already late evening. My wife is kneeling on the floor inside a mountain of papers. She just has a little desk-light at her disposal.
She really could put at least some effort into learning at least some basic spells for convenience. Thanks to her divinity she should be able to – or she should switch on the lights.
I reach for the controls next to the entrance and switch on the lights. “Honey!”
“What? I have to recalculate this!” Celes grumbles without looking up. “Damned Seria! Her escapade messed up all our financial plans for the next three decades!”
Why do we even need financial plans? We are gods and rule a whole planet populated with even more gods! No, I shouldn’t ask her that. That will only get me a lot of pointless explanations which will cause me to zone out; and then she will be angry once she realizes that I am not listening.
Better to stick to the plan and to find a way to cheer her up!
“Honey, look! I found a very valuable soul and thought that we could have three kids?” I step closer, rubbing my hands while doing so.
The pen in Celes' hand jerks across the sheet of paper which she was working on and tears it apart. Then she looks at me with an angry expression. “What's this nonsense?”
“Ahem. Like I said. I would like this one as a child.” I smile at her and go down on one knee behind her, starting to massage her shoulders. “You have to calm down. I am sure everything will be fine. This is just a phase for Seria. Like back then.”
“Do I look like a breeding oven to you?” Celes gestures at the papers. “I was just reworking everything for twins and now you come with triplets. Who is this person who you want so badly?”
I dig in my thumbs, working on her shoulder-blades. “A nice girl.”
“No. I won't recalculate this again!” Celes refuses.
“Then how about exchanging her in for this Arianne?” I suggest, not knowing who Celes attempted to put into the two embryos. “Do you really plan to abort one of the kids?”
“No!” Celes shakes her head. “I am having ours and will put this Arianne on ice while I clone a body for Lada.”

“I see. And what if I offer you something you can’t refuse? How about if you get to be in charge of the bedroom activities for the next month? We will only do stuff you like.” I grin down at her.
Celes leans her head back, lulled by the massage I am giving her. “No second tail? No cat costume?” She arches an eyebrow while looking up at me.
Ugh! It will be hard but I guess I can deal with that if I get my will. “No second tail.”
“No tail ever again and I will consider it!” She crosses her arms in front of her chest.
“What!? No. Not never again! I can't bear that! You are so cute in that costume!” Nooo! I can't make this deal! “Can we still use it on special occasions?”
“Okay! Very rarely. On very special occasions!” Celes admits. “So, who is the person you want?”
I start working on her spine. The deal could have been worse if she had known beforehand. “Okay. It's a deal. It's Eris.”
“What!” Celes gets to her feet, brushing off my hands.
I also quickly get up, taking a step back and raising my hands to defend myself. “Sealed deal! No return rights included! The pact has been made!”
Celes forms a fist, fighting the urge to hit me as her expression twists into something evil. “Fine! You wanted it!” She turns around and walks towards a nearby table. After grabbing a bottle and a big and mean-looking syringe with an absurdly big needle, she turns around and comes back in my direction.
“What's that!?” I take two steps backwards and Celes stops in front of me.
“Come on! Even you aren't as clueless as that about biology. Seria did an acceptable job, but I don’t trust her abilities. I have to redo everything and help nature a bit. And for that, I need the raw materials!” Celes stabs the pointy needle in the direction of my groin which gives me a bad feeling.
“Noo… nonono! You won't stab that into my balls. Even I know that that isn’t necessary.” Suddenly Celes jumps forward to get me and I retreat another step backwards.
“Halt!” I raise both hands and summon one of the toys which I ‘liberated’ from that brothel. “Why don’t we use that?”
Celes looks back and forth between me and the device. “Why the fuck are you carrying around a vaulting horse in your pocket dimension?” Her expression is saying clearly that my next words could land me in a lot of trouble.
“Ah, yes! You see…” I carefully take a step closer and pull the nasty syringe out of her hands. “This isn’t your ‘average’ sports-tool. This is something I personally ‘improved’ upon. Normally, I thought to give it to you on your next birthday, but this occasion is as good as any other.”
“Knowing you, it’s something perverted. And I don’t see how this is any help in extracting your seed.” She shakes her head and reaches for the syringe.
I hide the cursed thing behind my back. “Why don’t you at least try it? All you have to do is sit on it. That’s all. And look, it’s wood and leather and a few metal pins. If you don’t like it, you just break the thing and we go with your plan.” I look at her lab. “Better than having a fight in here with all these ‘sensitive’ devices.”
She bristles. “Is that a threat? Are you threatening my laboratory!?”

“Of course not!” I retort. “I would be the one who has to repair everything!”
Celes tilts her head, apparently finding no fault with my argument. Then she sighs and turns to the vaulting horse pulling up her dress in order to swing one leg over the device to mount it. “So. I am sitting on it. Nothing happened so can we go with my method?”
“Not so fast!” I approach and pat the handles at the front. “Hold onto those and the fun can start.”
She rolls her eyes but does as told.
The moment she touches the handles, clamps made out of Mana Crystal spring forth from hidden pockets inside the leather covering. Within a moment, Celes is pulled forward, hands and legs securely strapped to the device.
“What the hell?” She pulls, but thanks to my ‘improvements’ the restraints hold. “Let me go right this instant! What’s this supposed to be!?”
“Ah, that’s just a little toy so that I can have my way with you without the risk of repercussions,” I admit while stepping in behind her. “You are brutishly strong after all.”
“What!?”
I lean over, resting on her back while I fondle her glorious tits. “No worries. I will make sure that you get your fill.”
She gasps cutely when I kiss the back of her neck and push her skirt up.
“Red?” I smile while unbuckling my belt. “That’s why I love you.” I pull her panties aside and play with her while getting rid of my trousers.
Thankfully Celes seems to like the attention, shuddering and drawing a stifled breath.
I am about to line myself up with her and ‘take the dive’ when she decides to play unfair.
“Angrod of Tirna!”
I freeze and grumble. When she is using full names it means that this is no longer a joke and that she is serious. It’s something like a ‘safe word’ of ours.
“What?”
“I still have the feeling that you didn’t completely think this through,” she explains in a husky voice. “First, there is a flaw with this device, and secondly, how are you supposed to get me my ‘material’?”
I huff, sure of myself. “That’s easy. Once I am right at the edge, I will pull ou…”
I purse my lips, looking down at that perfect butt, from which I could bounce off a coin. I totally forgot that there is no pulling out – again. One would think that I had slowly gotten used to our new biology after three decades, but the conditioning of several lifetimes keeps tripping me.
She sighs.
“I am not stupid!” I clarify quickly.
“No, of course not, honey,” she replies, trying to soothe my bruised ego. “You are just so obsessed with perfecting the little details that you forget the obvious issues. That’s why you have me.”
I run two fingers up her butt while playing my tip over her entrance, wondering. “Well, there is another hole… I wonder if that one has the same issue.”
“Don’t you dare! I am not into that kind of stuff! And the ‘material’ would be quite obviously ‘unclean’,” she complains.
I throw my hands up into the air. “Well, then how do we do this, because I won’t take that syringe-”
“Dear?” Her tail wraps around my waist. One, two, three times!
“That’s the ‘other’ thing you forgot about,” she explains, sounding amused while pulling me off balance.
And – of course – I dip all the way into her.
“Fuuuuck!” I curse, but her insides feel just too good. I quickly place both hands on her butt, trying to pull out – without success. “Love, could you try to relax a little? You are awfully tight today.” I smile, hoping by all the gods that she would forget about what I tried to pull.
“Nope.” She uses the tip of her tail to point at the clamps. “Not before you open those.”
“Ahahaha...” I laugh. “Do you think I am suicidal? Not before you calm down and say that you forgive me.”
Celes sighs and wriggles her butt against me. “I guess then we will be here for a while. It’s just a blessing that I am the one who can lie down and take it while you have to do all the work in this arrangement. How long will you be able to hold back until you succumb to your desires… and what will happen if your legs go weak from all the exertion and you are still-”
“That’s not how this is supposed to work!” I complain, dreading the possibility. “You would never do such a thing!”
“Hmm.” She hums, clenching her abdominal muscles and making me feel it. “I wonder… it wouldn’t be the first time for you to get carried away with me. And it wouldn’t even be my fault.”
Damn, she is right!
I quickly lean over her and open the locking mechanism on the cuffs which are holding her hands.
The moment she is free, she grabs my hands and pulls me closer, forcing me to cup her breasts. “Not so fast.” She whispers with my face right next to hers. “I believe that we do have some time…”

***Seria***
“KYAAAAAAA!”
“Did you hear that Seria?” Aengus looks up from our homework, his eyes wide and frightened. “That sounded like Mom’s voice.”
“Yeah, it came from mom's laboratory,” I reply, doodling a few pretty squiggles onto my paper, having caught up copying my brother's solutions.
“Something could have happened to her! We should take a look.” Aengus puts down his pen.
I reach out, grabbing his arm and pulling him back down to the desk. “No! Are you insane! She is still edgy because she has to recalculate everything! She is a control maniac. What if she wants to relieve her stress by testing drugs on us!?” I shake my head. “And you are dense as heck if you think that it was a scream of pain.”
He thinks for a moment. “You are right. She is pregnant and her emotions are going wild. She is probably just frustrated. No good reason to take a risk by looking after her.” Aengus nods with a relieved expression and returns to his duties.
I want to facepalm and tell Aengus that the two are ‘doing it’, but it isn’t worth the effort to educate my block-headed brother. Plus, his time is spent better by solving those extra-dimensional equations so that I can copy the results. Calculating speed and position of an object which was translocated through the n-th dimension just isn’t my thing.
So I decide to encourage him. “And we need to get those calculations for tomorrow! Otherwise Mom will lynch us! So solve faster and I might see to it that you get a date with that chick two tables over!”
His eyes turn dreamy and he purses his lips before he returns his attention to our homework and I can get back to copying.

***Celes***
“Come on Angrod! You have been brooding in that corner for two hours now!” I turn away from my work and head over to my husband. “It wasn't that bad! And you already used healing magic several times. It won't get healer than healed!”
Honestly, how much of a child can he be about a little prick. He wasn’t even conscious when I gathered the ‘material’. And before that, I let him relieve his urges until he could no longer move. There is really no point in sulking.
“You have no idea! This isn't a physical issue, but a mental one! You can't just stab that into...” He shudders, just from thinking about it.
“~Little One!~ Turn around and look at me, just once!” I smile and pat his head.
“No! I can't look at that horrible tool! It's too cruel! I don't even have something like that in my arsenal of torture instruments!” he complains.
I sigh and hug him from behind, pressing my bosom against the back of his head. “I thought I would heal you in another way.”
He finally turns around and realizes that I put on that nurse outfit from his collection which he was so adamantly praising.
I strike a pose. “Doesn't this fit the occasion?”
“My Goddess!” He hugs my waist and kisses my belly.
“All better?” I ask, only then noticing the drawer which is standing in the middle of the room with some sort of case-file attached to the front. “Honey, did you put that drawer there?”
He pulls his face away from my belly and freezes upon seeing the item of my curiosity.
Suddenly, he jumps up and screams, running over and kicking the drawer, denting the metal on its side and flipping it over. Angrod proceeds to jump onto the storage device, turning it into scrap-metal right before it vanishes into nothingness as if it had never been there.
I frown. “What was that?”
He sighs and corrects his slightly dishevelled hair. “Nothing, dear. Just something that escapes any rational explanation and keeps haunting me! I foolishly thought that I got rid of it after my reincarnation as Angrod,” he mumbles. “Should have never poked that hole into the multiverse…”

Bon Week-end
He runs the underground. She’s made it her playground. Their time together--the stuff of pulp fiction. When a corrupt corporate conspiracy threatens to tear them apart, they blast back with their offbeat brand of crime and chaos. This story is just one from the pulps. Film critic Roger Ebert once described them as ‘cheap, disposable entertainment that you could take to work with you, and roll up and stick in your back pocket.’ So do just that--and read it on the weekend. Bon Week-end is a novel written in the tradition of Jean-Patrick Manchette’s neo-polar, existing now as what shall be known as the neo-serial. This is Nippoten’s second serial following the superhero epic Entirely Presenting You. This novel will have a rather unique release schedule compared to others. To stay up to date, check out the main site and more specifically the chapters page.

Kellan certainly wanted to, and while he pursued college to seek out a career he saw himself enjoying, something felt inexplicably empty about his life. So when a decidely sinister force kidnaps him and the prettiest man he's ever seen saves his life and offers him his wildest dreams, Kellan becomes the shopkeeper of a mysterious, dimension hopping shop, complete with a system that helps him acquire items. abilities, materials, and other cool shit to stock it with, as well as some other neat perks. Will Kellan become a boring overpowered MC, like the kind from web fiction that he reads to sate his boredom? Will he keep his generally kind, sweet nature despite the shit he's gone through and will go through, or will he inexplicably become a scary, violent, irrational arrogant douchebag? Will he use his newfound abilities to explore the multiverse and improve the lives of himself and others, or will he become his own antithesis, a purely mercantile jerk obsessed with money and profit, with no concern for anything that doesn't help or hurt his business? Find out in The Curio Shoppe! Author's note: Please suggest possible setting he could visit in the comments. I'll gather ones i'm familiar with, and at the end of every arc, a poll will be held to decide the next location he visits. There will be polls for other purposes, and I might not always go with the poll winner if I feel one of the other options is more fun to read/write about. I will not use the settings of other RRL writers without their permission.Do not ask for that, unless the author in question gives permission. Most settings he visits will be slightly AU in some way or another, but please remind me if I drift too far from canon unintentionally or characterize a character wrongly. This work will eventually fit all tags I selected once he visits universes suited to those tags, so don't ask when or where a given tag is coming. I do not own the cover art, it belongs to Nicholas Belanger Thiel, and I will stop using it if he asks me to. Kellan doesn't look like the old man on the cover, though once he acquires a disguise-type ability he may occasionally use that appearance. The tapir, however, will be a thing, as despite looking like a failed attempt at an elephant, tapirs are cool and this dragon finds them to be kinda cute. The art, along with more of Nicholas's pieces, can be found at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/51bXz
