《The Pen Is Mightier》Returning to screens near you in a couple of months!

Quite a few people have messaged me over the past few months regarding when The Pen Is Mightier will return. Initially, I'd made the decision to quit serialisation for good since it was horrid for my mental health. After my health recovered, moving house took priority, after that I had to deal with the projects signed with my publisher. I'm about to finish writing Houndsman soon. The Pen Is Mightier is next on the agenda.
A fellow author came up with a solution for my dislike of serialisation: write an entire book at a time and then dump it on RR. That's what I plan to do.
However, now that I look back at PiM, I see how much my writing style has changed with Houndsman and Trickster's Tale. Reading though it highlighted several issues with the story, which many of you pointed out:
1. There is too much betrayal in the first couple of acts. The way I went about Bunty's seperation with the Boleyns...was a bit much.
2. The magic system was flawed. The core system involving ages didn't work. Conceptually, it was fun and flexible, but it didn't work outside of that.
As a result, I've decided to rewrite and rebrand the project. The new version shall be called Tower of Cards. I'm going to alter the tower's lore to fit into my extended multiverse connecting it to Houndsman and Trickster's Tale. Instead of a Doulu Dalu rip off, I'm going for a card-collection and deck building system. It might sound silly on the surface, but a butt-load of thought and planning has gone into it. That's going to come with changes to Bunty's powerset, too. The title should give you some clues.
I plan on making significant changes to book 1, too. (Floors 0-5)
The writing will begin in late February or early March. I'll start posting soon after.
Watch this space for updates.

The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound
As the system initializes, the world shifts. Geography is rearranged and mixed, and levels and stats are instituted across the globe. On that night, one young man was walking through an underground tunnel, his mind on the small problems of his easy life. Because of his location during the shift, he starts in a dungeon far above his level, with no knowledge or teacher, or Newbie Village to guide him. Without a class, he struggles simply to survive in this world changed by its new connection to the Nexus. But struggle he will, for he is Randidly Ghosthound, and this is only how his legend begins... Cover credit to cthulupillar **Author's Note** This started as a way to destress and play with overly complicated stats systems and level systems, and I just kept writing. I don't really take it very seriously, but feel free to read and enjoy.

Beyond The Game (Abandoned)
Kaine sighed as his foe advanced once more, never letting up, barely giving him time to breathe. He pressed forward as well, excited and ready, welcoming the bloodshed that was to come. His short blade, meeting the bestial warrior's bone-made longsword. Their weapons clattering sound into each of their ears when they clashed. Kaine pushed, as did his foe, beginning the contest of strength. A dance which Kaine controlled the steps of. As their eyes met, both of them weary, but Kaine's expression was resolved...maddened almost. Whilst his foe's was fear-struck, the creature was terrified down to its core. As were its comrades which surrounded them, watching, waiting for an opening to have at Kaine themselves. Seeing many...but they faltered, as the dead had seen the same openings before. Their battered, broken and still freshly bleeding bodies laying sprawled about their surroundings. It is just one... One of them thought in shaken disbelief. Just...Just one man but he kills so many...smiling even! Glancing from the dead, and back at Kaine as he slew another. No...this is no man... Was its panicked conclusion. This one's a monster! As Kaine turned to face it, weapon ready and grinning widely throughout his approach.
