And Genitha had recovered, which was a huge relief for Rufka, let me tell you. Meanwhile, Josh was having a merry time with his half-clone, half-pu'shaha Rose. Tipan's still fretting over all the rescuees and Fallen we left behind, and Roberts... is Roberts.
Not wanting to waste time, they head into the CMCC. You remember that? That fancy command centre with the time-dilation effect?
Except, when they step inside, my dear Alexis, uber-magus supremo (in training) was ambushed! By me!

It was actually, Theglia (that person who's entire team died at the start of the story [Author's interjection: and then showed up again in chapter 1.94]) who appeared in front of her to totally ambush her.
