《The Bound Dungeon》Not a Chapter, Just an Update

Not a Chapter
First of all, sorry for the long and unintentional hiatus. Sorry for not giving any updates, but it was just as hard to say I was having trouble continuing the story as it would be for you all to hear it.
So, where to start. I guess the biggest issue would be the best place. The truth is, I have been unhappy with the direction my story has gone, and the longer I am away from it, the more discontent I am. Honestly speaking, the last twenty-five chapters feel like a mistake to me, as they have been pulling away from what I feel made my story unique and fun to write. I got so wrapped up in making cool creatures and environments, that my story just starts to feel like another dungeon story, with progressively harder waves of enemies trying to kill him, and not much aside plot development aside from that.
I would like to go back and truly write a story about a “bound” dungeon, and not one who immediately kills it’s master and runs off to be a dungeon just like any other. That being said, I don’t hate what I have written, much the opposite, it’s just not the story I want to tell, and I want to give it a redo.
I don’t want to delete all my hard work, but I also don’t want to leave it unfinished. I have been considering redoing the first few chapters, cutting it around chapter seven or eight, and starting fresh from there, but under a separate book page on the website. But I’d like to get the opinion of the readers, and to give them an update on what’s been going on, and an idea of what to expect in the future.
I’ve also been trying out many new story concepts that aren’t dungeon based, and have wanted to give one of those a try for awhile now, but I need to polish my skill with writing dialogue and characters who can do stuff aside from sitting around and making things.

I’ll post a link to the rough draft of the final chapter of book one, and I would like to finish the last thousand words of the “old” version. Alternatively, I could write something different before coming back and revisiting this story, which I have been leaning towards so I can get some practice writing something new, and then come back and apply what I learned to the redo.
As always, give me your thoughts and opinions, and I’ll do my best to respond quickly. I’ll be heading to class after posting this, so give me a bit of time to reply today.
Unfinished Chapter 35 (1 POV is unfinished, around 1000 more words.)

Project TheirWorld: Book One - The Tutorial
**IMPORTANT: Because I am trying to reconcile some of the consistancy issues due to unexpected changes in how I've decided to write the story, this story is to be renamed/reordered. I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. ______ The Tutorial ______ Entering a new world is an experience up to itself – and Dassah Graydon has found herself in two! While navigating real life on the floating academic continent, The Enclave, she retreats to the popular new VRMMORPG, TheirWorld. Transformed into a child to learn the ways of the game as ‘Guin Grey’, Dassah ends up wrapped up in complicated quest line that both excites her and intimidates her – but even more, it shows her just who she is, and who she wishes she could be. With the encouragement of her friends – real and virtual – Guin/Dassah dives headfirst into the mysteries of the tutorial of the TheirWorld in the world of Uldarin. _______ The Series Synopsis: _______ Dassah Graydon was just another human woman looking for adventure in her life when she moved to the academic floating continent, the Enclave. But while she wanted to escape her mundane reality, she quickly discovers that her life there - with the exception of all the crazy aliens and the unusual setting - was no different than her life on Earth had been. After spending a couple of months getting used to the place, she finally got the chance to play the popular new VRMMORPG, TheirWorld. As she is drawn deeper and deeper into the game, however, she begins to realize that her in-game life is far more connected to the happenings of reality than she could have imagined. Finding herself in the middle of a conspiracy that threatens her life and the lives of the people around her, Dassah must decide whether she allows herself to be a puppet, or she finds the determination to become the master of her own fate. ____ This story is completed! The DreamWalker Series
Ellette's dreams are unnaturally real. For years she has found them to be the perfect escape, the solution to a life that has been, at times, a nightmare. When she comes across a man from a dream in her waking life, he turns out to be just that; a dream come true. With finding him, she is forced to realize that her dreams overlap into reality, sometimes in frightening ways. The Dreamwalker Series was written as a number of short stories. Several of the stories are quite old so the writing style and mood of the pieces may shift in between each title. Some stories are flash fiction, and so may seem rather brief and abrupt. This story will be uploaded in a non-linear format.
