《A Demon's Tail》Chapter 77 - Once you got one...

***The Infernal Planes of Lust***
***Amon***
Wake up! We have stuff to do and booties to take care of later.
I slowly opened one eye and peeked around, relying on my night vision in the dimly lit room. It looked like everyone was sleeping, but I had to be sure, so I rocked my body a little and with it the bed and everyone in it.
Only Isabella moved a little but didn't stir otherwise. She may have mumbled something about letting her rest, but I couldn't understand it clearly.
I extracted my arm from her embrace and scooted away from her, trying not to bump into Kas while doing so.
Then I had to bite back a curse as I tried to pull my legs and tail out from beneath Claire and Danielle who were also sleeping and lying sideways across the bed – and on top of us. How this was comfortable or even bearable for them was a mystery to me. They had shown up after Kas and Isa had gone to bed with me and demanded 'their share of the Demon Lord'.
It was a little bit fiddly, but by cheating with my telekinesis, I managed to squirm out of the bed without waking them up.
What awaited me outside was the worst case of needles and pins in both my feet that I ever experienced. Even my tail wasn't spared! Worse, I was used to sleeping on my side, but the succubi kind of forced me to sleep on my back when they ganged up on me like that with their huggy attitudes.
Graah!
Okay, maybe a certain someone had it indeed worse than I right now. I wondered what it felt like to be someone else's appendage.
Instead of walking, I used my telekinesis and wings to levitate soundlessly while I looked down on the bed full of succubi. Scowling, I massaged my tail to get some feeling back into it. The other might have it worse right now, but I still didn't like pins and needles in my tail.
“I just hope this won't become a daily occurrence!” I whispered to myself.
Ooh, I doo hoope it dooes! The thiings thaat Claaire can doo...
“Just shut up,” I mumbled embarrassedly, hoping that the other wouldn't convince me that nightly escapades with four succubi were a good idea. If it wasn't for the amulet I would be a goner already. At least I had found out how to manage its restorative properties by activating it only for short periods of time.
There was something about my metabolism that made me lose it completely if I kept myself at the height of physical pleasure for extended periods of time. Which was why I had gone beserk on them the last time.
That's what you call being a glutton!
I scratched my horn as I studied the sleeping form of Isabella. I actually had the slight urge to squeeze those perfect breasts of hers. But that would likely wake her up. So no squeezing for now. And wasn't her belly slightly larger than I remembered? I shook my head, telling myself that I was probably still a little sleepy. Isabella was a quite proficient shapeshifter, as she had already shown me. She had probably experimented with her curves.
Turning, I silently floated out of the bedroom and took the secret corridor that led away from what I had learned was the group's private space away from the rest of the castle's inhabitants.
On the way, I pulled my clothes out of my spacial storage and got dressed. I didn't have much time before any of them woke up and demanded attention.

Once I was far enough away, I transitioned to normal walking as I retraced the path back to the entrance hall. I found my way out of the secret passageways easily enough and took the illuminated main hallway that led to the goal of my nightly excursion.
The castle seemed empty, and I didn't encounter anyone on my way through the corridors, or upon arriving in the entrance hall.
I looked around and approached the castle's Anima Stone on its podium. Why it wasn't protected better was a mystery to me. But then again, these artefacts were regarded as indestructible. There was little point in defending something that couldn't be destroyed or easily taken.
Or could it?
Deciding that there was little reason to wait, I reached out and touched the Anima Stone. I instinctively felt the familiar option to bond with it, which was obsolete since I was already bonded to it. The possibility of teleporting to another Stone that I already had a connection with seemed muddy and unavailable.
On the other hand, I could definitely tell that the Anima Stone in Irkos still existed, and the one that Isabella and I had taken as a short-cut to visit Sozzudon's, or rather, Amon's mansion. There was also another stone that was far, far away. I suddenly realized that this must be one of the stones I had bonded with in Gluttony. Maybe the one at the hatchery?
It kind of baffled me how the Anima Stone was capable of telling me what my options of using it were without actually connecting to my mind. Or was it less of some form of connection and more something like an instinct that all demons had?
Just to see if it was possible, I tried putting the Anima Stone into my personal storage space, but all I received was the ring on my finger turning hot as the futilely channelled magic failed to achieve its purpose. There was no other choice but to stop before I damaged the enchantment on the storage item.
“Guess that explains why nobody just runs off with one...” I mumbled.
I retracted my hand and frowned, knowing that I certainly wouldn't solve that particular mystery tonight.
Sitting down in front of the podium, I used my claw to scratch at the laid tiles that were held together with some cement. After testing several, I didn't find a single loose one.
Getting impatient, I used my telekinesis and a carefully formed blade made out of pure mana to pry one loose, revealing mundane concrete behind it.
Using my magic to carve out a large hollow space behind the tile was a matter of moments. Then I cleaned up the debris by putting it all into my storage space. Taking out one of my especially enchanted sticks, I placed it in the hidden compartment that I had created and pushed the tile back into place.
Thanks to carefully working with a mana blade when removing it, the tile now sat securely in place.
I gave it one more wipe with my palm to remove the last specs of dust that hinted at my handiwork.
Then I stood up and took a step back to ensure that I hadn't created any obvious changes. Demons were quite observant thanks to their perfect memories, but I hoped that something as insignificant as a slightly different-looking tile would be dismissed as a normal change to the environment.
It helped that the mess of my recent experiment had created a whole lot of changes in the immediate area.
And it was quite the mundane hiding place for an artefact, but I didn't think that anyone would get the idea of tapping onto the tiles right beneath the Anima Stone just to find one that sounded hollow.

Once I was satisfied, I nodded to myself and reached into my pocket, activating the remote control that managed the enchantments on the stick. It powered on without anything obvious to see from the outside, so I switched it off again. This was just a little reassurance policy – I hoped.
“What are you doing here?”
The husky voice mouthed the words right into my ear, causing me to jump half a metre into the air. I turned, about to summon my weapon when I realized that it was Felicia who was floating behind me. Her wings were spread wide to create a levitation effect very much like I had done earlier.
“Hahaha,” she laughed good-naturedly. “You are jumpy today. Did you think about something naughty while you were ogling the Anima Stone?”
“Felicia!” I reached for my chest, trying to calm my racing heartbeat. “You can't sneak up on me like that!”
“But I can. I just did!” Felicia replied, stating the obvious.
“No. What I meant is...” I let out a sigh when I noticed that she was smiling. “Just don't do it again, ok? I was about to stab you.”
She winced. “Fine. But you can't sneak around the castle like that at night. Alone no less. Everyone is still on high alert. There is no guarantee that the Átahsaia is truly dead.”
“I was just stretching my legs,” I explained. “I couldn't sleep.”
“Oh?” The green-horned succubus floated closer and started to play with the strings that held the front of her very revealing top together. “I might be able to help you with that.”
“Ah.” I couldn't help but look at her very alluring figure and like what I saw. Felicia had already voiced her interest in me, and I didn't dislike her looks, but I already had quite the attention during evenings. “I am afraid that I already have my claws full at night. If you would excuse me.”
I walked around her and tried to escape down the main hallway, but the succubus followed me. “Mom told me that you have the hots for me.”
“Mom?” I questioned, not getting it right away. How did Ashley... but then I remembered.
“Jada,” Felicia clarified while she caught up with a beat of her wings. She stopped in front of me and glided backwards while she danced her fingers over my chest. “She told me this and that... are you really into lactating tits?”
By the Infernum! This was so embarrassing! Jada had definitely decided to take a special form of revenge for walking in on us and getting an eyeful with Isabella wearing Felicia's form.
“I am sorry, it was a one-time thing.” I walked faster, but Felicia kept up effortlessly.
“You don't have to be so embarrassed. Besides, I can smell them all on you. Have you already forgotten that I told you to always take a bath?” She also increased her pace. “I want in! Now that it's not just Isa anymore it isn't fair to ignore me!”
Damn! I truly had missed taking a shower.
“I really have to go now!” I reached the entrance to the secret pathway and manipulated the magic just as I had been seeing Isabella doing it dozens of times by now.
“Hey! Don't run away!” Felicia landed and her hands latched onto my tail.
“Let go!” I entered the passage, forced to pull Felicia with me since she refused to let go.
No don't let go! More!
'Shut up and be on my side for once!', I roared mentally.
“Oh, but I think you like that.” Felicia wound her whole body around my tail. “I can feel it twitching!”
Yes!
I groaned and tried to ignore the pleasant tingle that ran up my spine while I quickly made my way back to the others, hoping that they would get rid of the Felicia problem for me.
All the way, I had to drag the pouting succubus along while she did something to my tail that felt quite pleasant. But I stood stalwart, not relenting to my baser instincts.
Once I reached the room, I busted the door open to make my entrance more dramatic. “Help me!”
Claire groaned and looked up from the bed. She was spooning one of the large body pillows that came with the oversized bed. “Hi, Felicia. Why are you latched onto Amon's tail? I think you missed the mark. It's supposed to be the one that comes out the front.”
“I want to join in!” Felicia exclaimed and looked up from her spot behind me. “Ooh, Kas is also in on it? I was just smelling the oil and thought you were playing with her machines. You have already a whole harem going on!”
“Whatever,” Danielle mumbled. “She can have the left leg... and we can share that wicked tail.”
“Sure,” Kasdeya agreed.
Claire patted the place next to her. “But you have to sleep to our feet. All the other places around him are already booked out. Or you have to get on top if he lets you.”
I looked towards my last hope.
Isabella had woken up and looked bleary-eyed at the succubus who was wound tightly around my tail. Then she glared at me. “Don't drag any more of them in here. The bed isn't large enough!” Then she rolled around and drew the blanked above her head. “And don't forget that he is mine!”
“Yay!” Felicia pumped her fist and let go of me. Then she undid the laces on her top and slipped out of her skirt. A moment later, she was in the bed with the others, looking like a pet that was eagerly awaiting a treat. “Can I go first?”
This is getting better and better! Although, three might be a little bit much for me. I am only controlling your tail after all. Claire and Danielle are already taking very good care of me while you are busy with Isa and Kas. What do you think of sharing the newest addition?
I facepalmed. 'We are supposed to be a demon from Gluttony! We are not some Incubus!'
Hey, don't blame me if you don't know what it means to be a Glutton. There are many different ways in which one can be insatiable. Wanting more chocolate is just the basics. But I don't blame you. Seeking the thrill of combat or banging as many females as possible is more advanced stuff. But I will get you there once you are old enough.

“And I tell you, there won't be any more than the bed can hold,” I growled at Felicia, who had only gotten in on our little conspiracy because I had been too tired to silence her last night myself. My sisters quite clearly didn't care about adding to our numbers. “Which means that you are the last one in! No telling anyone about Amon and us.”
“Aw. I wanted to ask Irrilum whether she wants to join the fun.” My sister looked downcast. She was older than me, but as Jada's daughter, her position in the castle's ranking system wasn't much higher than mine. Succubi weren't as physically violent as other demons. When it came to social power, Ashley's daughters mostly went by seniority, wisdom, and abilities.
Having Claire, Danielle, and Kasdeya on my side was actually a great boon to my cause, even if it meant sharing Amon. The three of them weren't only some of the castle's older succubi, they also brought very valuable skills to the table.
Felicia... not so much. She took care of the gardens and plants in the castle and played our gatekeeper, but that was it. The latter wasn't even really necessary, given that other demons were seldom insane enough to visit our home out of their own free will.
I got right into Felicia's face. “And don't think for a second that I don't know that your mother instigated you to do this!”
“I would never-”
“Ah!” I raised a finger in front of her face. “I know Jada, and there is a reason that she isn't in on this with the rest of us!”
I looked towards Claire and Danielle, and Jada's own hatchmates nodded vehemently.
Claire kneeled down in front of Felicia who was sitting on the bed. “As your aunts, we know very well that your mother set you up to do this. She wants to know what's going on with us and Amon. But you know her fickleness. There is no way to be sure that she won't let something slip to Ashley should she find out what we are intending to do. Because she is currently into that Shax guy.”
“Well, she is my mother...” Felicia pointed out.
“Who would have painted your egg and have you suffocate as unhatched eggyolk if we hadn't taken it away from her. Just like the previous one,” Claire pointed out. “Who took you away from her and gave you to Ashley to take care of?”
“And who inducted you into the secret evolutionary path of being a succubus?” Danielle continued pressuring her.
Felicia frowned. “If it's like that, shouldn't I be running to 'our' Mother and tell her what's going on between the five of you?”
Kasdeya rolled out of the bed, where she had still snuggled with the deeply sleeping Amon.
I would have to put some kind of collar on that guy to prevent him from sneaking out at night and dragging in more of my sisters. Amon might not realize it, but half of them were just waiting for a chance to catch him alone. Why did he have to run into Felicia of all things? It was only luck that he had brought her with him after she had already smelled all of us on him.
Thankfully, she was a plant-nerd and an airhead.
Normally, we wouldn't be concerned about her knowing about our relationship, but we couldn't allow anyone in the family to find out that Danielle, Claire, Kas, and I were hiding beneath the same bedsheets!
Given that Mother and Hellith were already looking for the missing records and had their sights on me, that would allow them to draw some unwanted conclusions to check the others.
Kas stretched and gestured for us to get out of Felicia's face. “You guys are doing this all wrong. Felicia is a nice enough girl with the right incentives. She is a strange one for sure, but at the end of the day she is still very much Jada's daughter.”
She turned and knelt down in front of Felicia. “Look, the three of them have done a decent job of explaining what's going on. The choice is up to you. You either run to Jada or Ashley, which means no more Demon Lord for you, or you join our conspiracy. Which would mean a lot more Demon Lord for you.”
Felicia bit her lower lip and looked at the snoring Amon, then back at us.
“Very simple choice, isn't it?” Kas raised a questioning eyebrow.
Felicia nodded enthusiastically. “Demon Lord all the way! What do I have to do?”
