《A Major in Necromancy》Status Update
Advertisement
TLDR: the Author(me) is an unreliable buttface. Updates soon. Starting in January. Reading PMs soon. Reading comments maybe. Timetable of updates changed to be nonspecific because of author’s self-indulgent, long winded, unreliable, and unhygienic nature. Additionally, it is a matter of public record that my body odor is foul, my breath odorous like a sty, and my grammar is known to be generally worse than the average 17th century sewer hunter, who were known to be remarkable nitpickers for the correct construction of the written word. I also have some words I might say about my general complexion and some other personal matters, but this TLDR is already too long.
A Status update.
Well then. A couple of months have gone past in silence. I owe everyone who's followed, rated, commented, and sent me messages an apology. Yeah. I am sorry about that.
I also apologize specifically to everyone who’s sent me a PM. When I get back into the writing routine wholesale I will be responding.
Ironically I have gone and done the very thing I have absolutely grown to despise over my time reading webnovels and fanfiction: the unexplained disappearance of the author. Some of my favorite stories, both in premise and writing quality, have gone that route and I hate seeing it happen.
I honestly don’t have an excuse for my silence. Basically, I woke up one morning and decided I didn’t really like where this was going and didn’t want to write a chapter that day. Then a couple of months went by. I then did my damndest not to think about it and not look at comments or PMs to the best of my ability to ignore reality. Socially, this is normal for me to withdraw for at least three or four months every year. Practically, it is inconvienent.

I plan to begin updates again soon. I’m hesitant to promise anything specific about update speed after how that all turned out last time though. January there will be at least one chapter. Hopefully a lot more.
I’m going to ramble on a little about this story and where I’m hoping to take it. If you’re already tired of reading this or only want to read the story and be disassociated with the rest of this garbage you should skip it.
Rambling. Warning: There is much rambling. Potentially minor spoilers. Basically just a list of things I want to change or add into the story. Ignore if you’re only here for the story.
Edit: spoilers fixed now.
Spoiler :

More horrific fleshy abominations in this story.

Danni Jax is on her way to help build the first extra Sol colony over 10,000 light years away. She will be forced to split her time between her fire team, engineering, and the the game while learning new technologies she is unfamiliar with and, heaven forbid, attempting to navigate a first contact scenario. The second part of this story has started and can be found at https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21547/building-home-book-2-rescue
8 99Scenario 66
Silven isn’t too happy when he stops to consider his miraculous prison escape, a guiding voice on the air and the herd of terrifying black knights hunting him down and realises he may be important. Equally, he’s not going to be too happy when he learns he’s nothing more than a character in a video game in chapter 3.8. There’s just no pleasing some people. But by the time of this realisation, Silven is all-powerful and all-arrogant, with a couple of game-breaking businesses under his belt. And when he finally understands he has been meddling with the very fabric of his own reality, the damage may already have been done. This fiction contains: * Approx. 4,342,213 video game tropes, mechanics and cliches * Very light levelling and business development (but no tables. Other than the one on the cover). * A rather acquired taste in dry, sarcastic humour. * 0 dragons. Why no dragons, man? Chapters will be released EVERY DAY, in order to sufficiently punish you for all the bad things you've done in life.

8 57Ancient Sins
The adventure of a child who must escape death and find the mysterious man in order to live the life the child was meant to. But on this journey to a cure, this child is met with terrible acts and rough decisions that will change the minds of the world. This kid is a sinner in the eyes of the public, but a hero to the future.
8 226The Epiphany Colony
Brad Asher has been a private detective on the Epiphany Colony orbiting Mars for about a year before stumbling into a conspiracy that threatens the safety and stability of the colony. Note that the story here is the first draft and has a lot of ideas, characters, and plotlines that I ended up dropping in the final version that I released here currently available on Kindle Unlimited. The entire second half was restructured, as I ended up not being satisfied with some of the things that I introduced and felt like it had strayed too far from my initial vision of a space-based detective noir story.
8 275In a modern world with a game system!!!
