“I can’t anymore!” Trinne fell loudly on the padded mats of the beautiful training room.

“Mgrhgrhhrrr.” Lisana’s face was now past concentration into one closer to constipation.

“A break, a break, I got it.” Nay stopped her movements.

“I don’t understand a thing. What is copying your weird moves going to teach me?” Trinne asked between two breaths.

Nay thought about it. Her father had never given her any tips, and she did not talk either during the Rreico exercises. But after the training? Explanations would be much more effective than a simple “You’ll understand”.

“The point is not to copy me but to understand what I’m doing. Put yourself in my shoes, feel my body, feel my mind.”

Lisana seemed to think about it as Trinne groaned in a manner not befitting a noblewoman.

“You were worried. It’s been months since you began teaching us, and we still can’t manage it.” She finally said.

Nay’s eyebrows rose. “That is correct. Did you guess that?”

“No. When you moved, there was a moment…I don’t know how to say.”

The master Legio grinned widely. “Perfect! Keep that feeling in mind.”

“Oh no, I have been overtaken by a six-year-old girl.” Trinne put a hand in front of her eyes.

“Ha! I am not just a little girl. Nay is my big sister. Marke is my daddy and Ra’fa is my mommy!” Lisana had a confident smile.

Nay studied her little sister. The duality in her Rreico hadn’t changed, even if her phantom miracle had never shown itself again since they had reunited that day in the Imperatrix’s chambers.

Trinne had gotten quite interested in the way her sister had been treated as well as the situation of the other God-Touched apprentices. In her opinion, to separate children from their families was a ridiculous idea when you knew that phantom miracles were brought forward by emotional traumas.

But Nay was pulled out of her reverie by her friend getting back on her feet.

“Well, I can’t let Liz beat me. I’ll manage as well. Shall we start again?”

“I’m ready!” The little girl with blue eyes claimed.

Nay nodded.

“Let’s continue.”
