《In Naruto With Gamer System》Chapter 223: Mission: Survive

During the last two years, Bakorio made sure that the fourth Mizukage Yagura Karatachi doesn't end up getting killed, which was no easy task.
While Yagura was under Obito's control, for some reason Obito decided to use him as a tyrannical ruler that had no mercy for the weak or those that tries to betray the village and escape his rule.
Thanks to this, many clans felt like going for a rebellion was the best choice. This included many of the great clans from Kiri such as the Momoshi clan, the Suikazan clan, the Terumi clan, and so on…
However, before they could initiate their coup d'état, Bakorio intervened and advised them against it since they would only end up causing too much death for their side as Yagura was a perfect Jinchuriki, and beating him was in no way easy especially when he had other strong helpers to aid him in the dark…
…
"What's our mission sensei?" Asked Hinata shyly and Naruto immediately followed after her "That's right, when are you going to tell us about our mission?"
Bakorio simply kept running before he smiled and said "Your role in the mission is simple, survive… That's all you need to know"
Naruto and Sasuke suddenly felt their spines tingling as they could see from the look on Bakorio's eyes that he wasn't joking at all…
"You are joking right?" Asked Naruto but Bakorio simply smirked. Meanwhile, Sasuke took his words seriously and immediately activated his Sharingan while ordering Hinata beside him
"Hinata, scout out the surrounding for any potential enemies with your Byakugan, we will soon reach the hidden mist village and we might end up getting attacked"
Hinata nodded at him and was about to activate her Byakugan but Sasuke noticed something and grabbed both her and Naruto before he jumped away…
"What are you…" Naruto was about to complain but suddenly, a few water bullets landed on their previous location where they were just standing and created many deep wholes into the ground as a few men appeared from behind the cover of the trees

"Tch, these kids are smart, but at least we got the big one" Spoke one of the men, he was wearing the Kiri headband and had a bloodthirsty look on his face while he was staring at Bakorio's body that was riddled with wholes as he fell to the ground with a lifeless look in his eyes…
"SENSEI!" yelled Hinata who was horrified by the scene. However, Naruto and Sasuke quickly regained their calm and they shot each other a look before Naruto used the shadow clone Jutsu as a distraction and they started dispatching their 5 attackers one by one easily… they were only Chunin level after all
Hinata didn't care at all about all of this and simply rushed to Bakorio's side with a tearful look on her face and kept yelling "SENSEI!" Until Bakorio appeared from the shadow of a tree and said "Stop yelling, do you really think these idiots could defeat me?"
Hinata had a delighted look on her face before it turned into a deep sense of shame and embarrassment as she watched the Bakorio on the ground disappear into a puff of smoke…
"Hinata, you should have helped your teammates before anything else. What if they were enemies they couldn't defeat on their own? Plus, you could have detected this simple ambush before it even happened" Bakorio had a cold look on his face as he reprimanded Hinata before he turned to Naruto and Sasuke and nodded slightly
"Good job you two, although you quickly put down your guard and didn't count for the fact that there might have been other enemies hiding… and that could cost you your lives" said Bakorio before he suddenly stabbed the ground under him while using the chakra scalpel Jutsu and Naruto and Sasuke as well as Hinata watched in horror as blood started leaking from the ground…
"This could have been the blood of one of you, remember that always when you are outside the village doing a mission"

The trio gulped slightly before they nodded in unison and said "We understand, teacher!"
"Good, let's keep going" Said Bakorio before he turned around and started running again in the direction of the village hidden in the mist and Sasuke ended up asking him "Teacher, are we going to let them go?"
"Let who go?" spoke Bakorio with a weird smile on his face and the trio instantly understood, their attackers are probably dead already…
…
Once they got near the hidden mist village, Bakorio and his team detected a few people hiding in wait for them but this time they weren't enemies. Instead, they were the people Bakorio intended to meet, and among them was none other than the future Mizukage, Mei Terumi…
"Bakorio, how come you brought these kids with you? that wasn't our plan" spoke Ao, a man who had an eyepatch over his right eye and Bakorio only shot him a look before he said "IF you don't like it, we will just abolish the whole plan and I will go back home to have a nap"
"You.." Ao was about to retort but Mei stopped him and looked seductively at Bakorio before she said "Are these your students? They seem quite promising"
Bakorio ignored the looks she was sending him and spoke calmly "They are indeed, did you prepare the fake identities for us to enter the village?"
"Straight to business as always" Spoke Mei with a disappointed look on her face before she threw a special identification card at Bakorio
"With this card, you will be considered a merchant and you can have at most 10 people accompany you inside the village so you don't need to worry about your students, although they will need to hide their headbands"
Bakorio nodded at her and said "Let's go" Mei nodded at him, this time with a serious look on her face before they entered the village…
Bakorio visited this place many times, but for the kids, it was a completely new experience ad they kept marveling at the large buildings covered in mist…
'I can't wait to see what I will get after finishing this mission…' Bakorio smiled secretly to himself while thinking about his purpose here which was none other than freeing Yagura from Obito's control.
However, that wasn't easy as Obito was very sneaky and he used a complex Genjutsu similar to the one Mukai uses on himself, and in Yagura's case, Bakorio concluded that the latter will instantly kill himself if someone attempts to dispel the Genjutsu.
'In the original, Ao used his Byakugan to release the Genjutsu which resulted in Yagura's death, but he should have realized that there was more to it than just Yagura being under control… Did he hide this fact on purpose to get rid of Yagura? His behavior and emotions so far whenever I say Yagura might die if we release the Genjutsu always seem conflicted... what's he scheming?'
Bakorio wondered in his thought, but he couldn't do so for long as he and his students were suddenly surrounded by a group of men wielding different weapons, and they were led by none other than Yagura and Kisame!
"HAHAHAHA What do we have here? I smell some soft flesh" spoke Kisame with a primal look on his eyes and Bakorio shot his attackers a look and thought '4 of the 7 seven swordsmen of the mist, and two Kage level ninja along with multiple Jonin, they clearly knew of my arrival and were prepared beforehand… I wonder, who betrayed me?'
Bakorio suddenly had a smile on his face as he turned to his student and said "Your true mission has started…"

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
