《Give me my lily pad back.》Boom with a view.

Mibbet looked at the pouch of solar stones with doubt. She knew the theory behind what she was about to do, and really wished she didn’t. The books she had read on the subject of “controlled sqwoomphs” were hardly reassuring on this point, they all seemed to agree that such a thing was a lovely theory but......
Now as you have probably already noticed neither Mibbet or Rosalind had what you would call the best experiences with Sqwoomphs. This was not reassuring, but it seemed sound enough in theory. So she quickly ducked back into the house and changed into her flying gear, grabbing Puppy as she headed out and started carefully laying out a big X of the stones in the middle of the field so she knew where to aim. At least if there was one thing she was definitely not lacking it was water mana. With that she should at least be able to set off the chain reaction to blow a hole big enough to later fill step by step.
Finally that done she took off, heading skyward and preferably a long way from ground zero, before aiming at the crystals down below with her mana. Well that was strange, she’d expected them to go boom fairly quickl....... Wait was that a PERSON down there? Mibbet tried desperately to pull back her power but it was like being connected to a giant siphon, as Mibbet suddenly realised what had gone wrong.... Oh bollocks.
The Stones greedily drank down the newly acquired Mana while Mibbet did the maths and realised, they weren’t just going to make water mana, they were going to make water, lots and lots of water, oh and a bloody big boom. She carefully hung onto her broom and shut her eyes tight while praying for the poor sod on the ground who probably had no idea what was about to happen.

Even with her eyes shut the light was almost blinding, then after a few seconds BOOM, the stones went off one by one, each blast practically dislodging her from her broom despite her hanging on for dear life. The explosions were soon replaced by an unpleasant ringing in her ears, and no further sound. As the ground around the bloody great big hole in the ground suddenly started the conversion to water, and it was a lot of water. Swirling and crashing, as Mibbet noticed to her horror further cracks in the ground opening up, only to be filled just as quickly. Then a whole field vanished into a massive sinkhole as water poured in with a crash. Sometimes in life you get the feeling that you may have overdone it a tad, sometimes in life you may feel like you screwed up. What Mibbet felt right now? Well she was not looking forward to landing and explaining the situation. She looked in horror at the sudden onset waterfall, trying to process what the hell she had just witnessed, “oh crap oh crap oh crap” she muttered to herself, while Rosalind tried to figure out a method of damage control, extremely glad that apart from that one pillock she had succeeded in making the evacuation so thorough. Then she spotted him, the idiot had somehow survived, and was stuck on a rock in the middle of the water. Well saving him would be a start, she quickly swooped down and picked him up on her broom carefully carrying him to safety.
Once he was safely back on the ground Mibbet was even more confused, as he fell down on all fours as if praying to her. Mibbet groaned, it had taken her AGES to convince the humans at the first village to stop doing that, and now one explosion later here she was back at square one. Why did the humans look at her like that? It was confusing and annoying, and she had no idea how to make it stop.

.... ........ ...... ...... ....... ....... Said the human (maybe that would make more4 sense if she ever managed to start hearing again. Because for now all she could hear was ringing.)
Rosalind seized the opportunity “YOU WANTED A LAKE, WE WANTED TO GIFT YOU MORE. YOU HAVE A LAKE, A RIVER, AND A WATERFALL. WITH THIS THE TRUCE SHOULD BE POSSIBLE.” Rosalind shouted (not intentionally, but tinnitus is extremely hard to outshout.) Showing almost feline levels of “I totally meant to do that” regarding the sudden topographic annihilation she had just been responsible for. The locals were a little shocked, the sudden river would be a huge help as far as water supply to the land and tourism went, though the arguing over whose land was whose in the wake of the terrain shifts would last for generations. (You think your neighbours arguing over half a foot of garden is complicated imagine the logistical and legal disputes that arise from sudden onset miracle.) They gazed downwards into the crater, noticing there were entire cave systems down there. Tourists would pay good money to come here and explore something like this. Maybe if they played their cards right they could negotiate a decent arrangement for houses for the visitors and make the place nice and pretty with the help of the Spriggans, though they would have to leave the negotiations for that up to The Princess if she ever stopped yelling.
They did notice one thing that was strange though, the water didn’t seem to be stopping.
************************************************************************
Mibbet eyed the hole in the ground, and the water, trying her best to figure out what the hell had just happened, near as she could tell the explosion had fused all those crystals together, They then being full of water mana had started doing what they did best, absorbing and converting ambient mana, and at least temporarily that was one thing they had a hell of a lot of. This resulted in a self refreshing lake and what you could call a spring. Now Mibbet’s only dilemma was how to navigate the new cracks in the ground. Because until this lot settled down swimming did not seem advisable.

World Master
Hey! I once lived on your world back in 2056. But that was a long time ago and there’s probably no records of my existence. Or, maybe, I haven’t even been born yet… …I’m still figuring out of the timelines correspond. Anyways, I was or will be, or whatever you want to call it (maybe I am?), John Pitcher, a resident at St. Jude’s Hospital for the Mentally Ill. I was a computer programmer and my parents had me admitted there because I was convinced that I had been contacted by Set, the Egyptian god of chaos, about creating a world. Well, apparently, I’m something akin to the great times a hundred grandson of over 10 000 gods, and they didn’t want me to live an ordinary, dull life (well, except for the god of normalcy, but he doesn’t count). Set gave me three years to prepare myself. This begins right at the end of those three years. [participant in the NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] I originally had this as part of the prologue, then I realized that it made a better synopsis. Please note: this might seem a bit clunky because I haven't done a lot of writing, and this is supposed to be a kind of prequel to another story that I plan on doing in the future. I will not be fully explaining everything but instead will be explaining things in that other story. This is mainly to help fill in the lore of the world so that people will have at least a basic idea of how things function. Regardless of that, that story won't be written for at least another year, so deal with it. Note: I am using ideas from several different authors in order to make sure that this can be a proper story. You may or may not recognize where I got them. I am not writing a Fanfiction and do not claim these as my own. I will add to a list of titles below as I find myself using those ideas. World Keeper (obviously) The Wandering Inn The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound (not yet, but eventually) A bunch of others that I haven't thought of yet
