《Celestial Journey》136] - [Fond Nostalgia, Hidden Disaster]

Lana had seen strange things at her rundown village during her youth.
Some talented youngsters could punch planks of wood while others could even punch through rocks. A few aged residents were even sighted lighting the air on fire. As for the strongest, the village chief, she saw him one day fly just below the clouds.
A soaring immortal.
Yet, right now, people who should have been much stronger, golden deities at the Golden Core Realm, were seen groveling in the mud. They looked like slaves while her fellow new disciple gazed upon them as if watching two bugs fight against spiderwebs.
From this, she both felt inferior and lost. Was this how strong she should have been? Why was there such a difference?
Lana could of course not be aware of how much higher Alexander's real cultivation base laid.
He was a being overlooking those so called immortals from high up above the clouds.
In some sense, to them, Alexander was the immortal of the immortals. If not even further beyond.
And this peerless expert was currently giggling while seeing his two victims struggle to escape the wet brown around them. A small playful ambush of silver his gift to them.
'It only costed them a silver roc, so I'm sure they don't care. They even received such a valuable lesson!'
However, the senior sister of the group was currently thinking about the silver roc as well. As for its actual worth to the Tamon Sect, she knew full well.
'I'm screwed! The elders won't let me hear the end of it!! The silver roc was one of the rare First Core Beasts we had! Argh!!'
Raising a brow, both the junior brother and Alexander looked at the senior sister still clutching her head in denial.
"Can't the two of you just fly?"
Regaining some clarity, the duo shook off the mud before releasing their cultivation. The mud was quickly scattered while they soared above the earth.
'Ha~' Shaking his head in inner agony, Alexander waved his hand, forcing Lana to be sent flying to him. Grabbing her by the collar, he left her hanging to his side like a bag full of groceries.
All that she could do now was act meek and wait like a kitty caught by the neck.
'Cute!' The senior sister showed some redness while the junior brother glanced at the dead silver roc in the mud below them. He looked at it with empty eyes.
'The sect will...'
'I can't take responsibility! Oh wait! I'm not the one with it! Hahaha!!!' Exploding in laughter inside, the junior brother was delighted. Since, clearly, it was his senior that would take the blame anyway!
'So lucky!'
"So? What do we do now?" Obviously, Alexander would not let them waste his time too much. Even if he was the one to cause this predicament, he would not admit his generous doing.

"We... will just fly to the sect! Follow me!" Darting through the air, the junior brother followed, tailed by Alexander and his pocket Lana.
The rest of the journey uneventful, as it should have been, Alexander could see a small sect a few hundreds of meters away. It was quite shabby in terms of structural and material quality. As for its looks, it was, at least, worthy of an immortal sect.
'Yellow with a brown accent. Seeing it with my eyes this time, it's still quite ugly... The colors are so bland and dirty. If it was metallic, then maybe... but right now it looks like shitty paint was thrown on the walls.' Said the man whose sect was just plain white all over. Said the man who only wore bland white robes since billions of years.
Said the man who once had the remarkable idea of forcibly turning his skin whiter than a sheet of paper, but fortunately realized how ugly it would have been.
This same man who almost became one with his robes, as if a camouflage, was now criticizing a choice of colors.
How the world changed, some would think after knowing of this.
Made aware of the sect's power, Alexander could not really find fault with it contextually, but he still could make fun of them as a senior.
In here, the strongest he could find was an old withering man barely at the Dao Fusion Realm. As for the acting sect master, he was a foolish looking man at the Dao Heart Realm.
'Well, congratulations on being weak.' While he only meant to accomplish his self bet, Alexander still considered his words truth. The Dao Fusion Realm was a rather uncommon type of cultivation level. It was not so much of a realm made out of multiple layers or stages, but something similar to the Star Realm. It constituted of steps rather than actual power increments. Being stuck in this realm could only mean one thing.
The cultivator had failed to ascend up the next step yet retained some of its increase in strength. Only by failing to reach the Saint Embryonic Realm would one be held at the Dao Fusion Realm.
However, unless one was strong enough to defeat them, daring to say such words to one of them was akin to suicide. It often was a sore spot in their mind after all.
And now, Alexander was ready to relax and enjoy his short time here. He intended to let things play out, watching how long it would take for a sect this insignificant to realize his presence.
'I might as well use them as a stepping stone for my own entertainment rather than this sect being it. If I can get... yeah, that would work. There must be stuff like this happening. I can't wait.' A sinister smile glaring, Alexander found a suitable source of fun.

'Let the tricks and anger rampage their world.'
.
.
.
Three years after Alexander entered the sect, he was currently laying down on a deckchair in the middle of the grass, letting the light above shine down on him. Sparing him from the heat was the cooling shadows of the thick tree to his right and the fresh breeze.
During these past three years, Alexander only played the casual disciple role. He obtained this courtyard and also did a couple of missions here and there. Most of them were boring, well all of them were to him in the end.
Gathering this or that, killing him or her, robbing and hiding it.
As for the senior sister, she had been long since punished for the silver roc's death while the junior brother was almost kicked out by the sect for his performance outside.
Lana, the small girl, was still in the sect. She was in fact right next to him, playing with a wild cat near the tree. And said Lana was currently sneaking up on him.
"You think I can't sense you? Not only are you making noises, you are also easily seen through by my Divine Sense."
"Ah!" Fumbling about, Lana showed both astonishment and indifference. She tried to be sneaky multiple times before, so she of course knew this most likely would not work either this time.
"What is it? You were playing with the cat over there, why come here now? I'm not giving you spirit stones again!"
"I... the sect sent a message!" Blushing, she felt quite embarrassed at herself. But the sect's message was a lifesaver. Holding a triangular jade token in hand, she handed it over.
"Let me see..." Catching it, Alexander frowned for a moment before smiling gleefully.
"Oh oh oh! Finally! Took long enough." In the token, a message could be both heard and read.
Gather at the sect's center plaza. A mission of utmost importance and of countless opportunities is awaiting for you. The sealed world will open for all disciples of all sects in the region to explore in a month. Prepare yourself and come within the next five hours.
Being what Alexander was looking for, he did not hesitate to stand up and rush there, sprinting at lightning speed.
During his time in the sect, Alexander somehow managed to pass as a little Earth Realm cultivator even though some witnessed his flying skills. His body was surely strong enough for that claim. Therefore, he did not fly anymore, only running ahead. Except he ran faster than some Chaos Archetype Realm experts flying at full speed.
To say Lana could not even see him was not exaggerated. In fact, no native still in the Inner Territory would be granted this chance. To support him, the ground obviously cracked and shattered, leaving clear imprints below. Instead of manually covering his tracks in multiple ways, Alexander preferred to leave them there.
'Nobody comes here anyway, some craters are just for some added flair.'
Running as such, Alexander took less than two nanoseconds to cover the whole sect's outer territory and reach the plaza. In his wake, the ground was littered with craters the size of a small meteor and only the size of a head when further inside the sect.
The earthquakes he produced were obviously noticed by most, wondering what might have happened.
Yet, none could clearly accuse anyone for these signs. Alexander was in plain sight, but no one could even catch a glimpse of his figure.
And gnashing his teeth while pulling his beard at this moment was a white haired elder in the sky above the plaza.
'My arrays!!! My precious little arrays!!' Almost breaking his teeth apart, the old man pulled some strands from his beard. However, this would only be the beginning during this trip.
Waiting within a sea of disciples, some humans while others not, Alexander.
'Oh? A few angels here and there, even someone with a blue halo...' Looking around curiously, even though he did not need to, Alexander noticed something quite... dangerous.
'?!' To the far right, at the edge of the sea of people, another angel chatting with a demoness and beastman.
'Rainbow halo, rainbow demon eyes, horns and rainbow claws even!'
'Are you serious?! One is a Seven Colored Angel, the other a Seven Colored Demon and the last a Seven Colored Werewolf! The fuck!?'
Even though Alexander had proceeded with the extermination of all other races within one of Valtos' Universes, he still met plenty before and after, also aware of their potential.
A rainbow color showing outside was a sign of incredible natural potential and ability. A red halo for example was not worthy of much except in certain cases. There would always be a way to activate latent potential no matter how bad it initially was. On the other hand, doing so with a Seven Colored Halo was another story entirely.
This applied to many races within the myriad races. Seven colors showed not only the potential to surpass all others, it also indicated a natural disposition toward greatness.
'You're showing off you little rainbow shits? You really think I'll let you live to threaten my position? Dream on you three morons!'
Unaware of what laid within the sea of many disciples, three friends chatted their worries away for the upcoming trial.
They were oblivious to death staring right into their souls.

Plants VS Zombies Post Apocalyptic Fanfic
Steven Weller thought he survived the worse of doom's day. That food shortages and zombies were the worse of his problems. Oh was he so wrong? Now even plants can kill. I planned is a story to be a new original post-zombie apocalyptic with the monster plants from the Plants vs Zombie games. This story is full of zombies, betrayal, giant toothy zombie flash-hungry plants, tower defense like monemts, and lots of bullets. I named it a Fanfic because I don't want to be copyrighted by the Plants vs Zombie people. I hope only good positive things to come from this.
