《Celestial Journey》128] - [Lu Shu]

The aged man of long night hair exclaiming his glee, he looked on as Alexander felt his options give up.
"This Lu is honestly beyond overjoyed. To find an opponent to this clone of mine... marvelous!"
Gritting his teeth, Alexander could not believe it.
"C-Clone..?!"
'How could a being this authentic be a clone!'
"Well, yes, of course! This Lu is not someone that would be defeated by a mere Chaos Archetype Realm infant. Even my clone, the one you just fought and are still staring at right now... is only at the Empyrean Realm's peak!"
"Empyrean?"
Answering the confused Alexander was obviously the cheerful man.
"The Empyrean Realm! The realm just above the Chaos Archetype Realm. So, I applaud you for fighting someone an entire major realm above yourself! Well, I did have my cultivation forcefully kept in, but still. It can be bragged about as an incredible achievement!"
"Why do you think my hall was this sturdy? But it is true that Monarch Lu could have gotten this without a proper cultivation base, I won't deny it."
"Anyways..." Sighing ever so slightly, Lu Shu stared ahead with reminiscence.
"We should resume this fight now."
Almost chocking from a sudden laugh, Alexander did not even have the will to care anymore.
"Resume? Resume what? Do I look like I can-"
"So, die."
"Fi-rgh?!" His words sent right back to his throat, Alexander was sent flying across the entire hall, his stomach kicked in by a fading figure without enough time to comprehend anything.
His body still mid-air, he crashed onto the closed golden doors, forcing them open, while he felt his entire vessel crack. And without surprise, his figure was seen crashing onto the destroyed grey floor outside.
'This is bad!' Not even realizing himself to have managed to survive a kick from someone much stronger than him, he clutched his stomach while wincing.
'Fuck! Ahhh!!!' Screaming internally at his apparently still worsening luck, Alexander rolled on his stomach, not caring about his image.
Raising his head, he saw and felt something he was not ready for.
"You... you..." An aura much stronger than Lu Shu's hidden Nihility Realm pressure, Alexander exchanged stares with someone he somewhat knew.
"Alexander if I remember? Don't worry, I won't touch the prey of master."
The man in question had blue hair and an aloof expression. Someone that he thought was at the Nihility Realm but now exuded an aura similar to his own.
Uryl, the First King!
"How... are you also on... with him..?"
"Yes!" Nodding, Uryl did not move from his spot, as if a trained pet. And landing behind Alexander was Lu Shu.
"Alexander, you cannot run anywhere. This place will be your grave!"
Hearing these powerful words he was told numerous times, he still could not stop cold sweats from submerging him.

A long life, countless life experiences, many near-deaths and even one death. Yet... this one felt the worst so far.
Even dying was not too problematic above the Heavenly Venerable Realm's peak. But this time... he was in Limbo, and at the Chaos Archetype Realm as well. Not only so, but he was in between two strangely potent experts while severely injured.
"You don't look so well? Master, I think finishing this would be better. We also have to deal with everyone else here."
Nodding, Lu Shu agreed with his servant's words.
"Indeed, you're right! Alexander... now is the time to say goodbye. It was a great fight. However, you cannot hope to defeat this Lu with such a shabby cultivation base."
'What can I do?!!' A foot on the verge of crushing his spine, Alexander only felt a familiar, ancient power rise deep within him.
'...' But... he did not seem happy about this gain of strength. No, he felt even worse.
And with his body moving on its own, he heard himself talk while standing back up, dodging the foot with ease.
"Lu Shu! Let this Deity crush your soul!!" A red aura surging, it erupted across the world, causing a dominating pressure to forcefully break the wills of many.
Retreating a few steps, Lu Shu raised his hand, ordering Uryl to stop his currently growing martial art.
"Greater Primordial Deity... this Lu is honored! But what can you do? You used to rule the Realms, defying even the Heavens themselves... but now..." Disdain showing, Lu Shu pressed on without honorifics for this fallen deity.
"Now... you are nothing more than a remnant consciousness. Let this Lu show you the way down one more time!"
The void converging near Lu Shu's right palm, it turned the hand into a beautiful shade of black.
Carelessly watching the palm close in on Alexander's face, the Greater Primordial Deity snickered.
"Trash!" Alexander's aura growing even more, it soon bypassed the Chaos Archetype Realm without halt, steadily soaring above the clouds the Empyrean Realm's stages were.
And watching it happen were Uryl and Lu Shu, wondering how much power could this formerly invincible deity bring out of a dying man.
Red coloring his skin, Alexander felt a tremendous strain nearly tear his body apart.
Early Empyrean Realm!
Middle Empyrean Realm!
Peak Empyrean Realm!
"Oh? Are you maybe going to breakthrough again? What's the point?"
"There will always be a point when I can feel your body crumble like dust in between my divine fingers!"
Still thinking about what to do, Alexander was left in an even more precarious situation!
His body was being controlled by the Greater Primordial Deity, forcing his body's limits while attempting rob him of his own self! And in the other... he had Lu Shu and Uryl.
'When did I even... ah...' After going all out against Lu Shu, Alexander was not only left with a weak vessel, but a weak mind as well! His entire existence took a blow, and this showed.

Without his approval, the Greater Primordial Deity's consciousness infiltrated him, as for why...
'With how random these red things are... is my luck even worse?! This couldn't have been on purpose!'
Clenching his fists, Alexander had no more options. He had to escape, but to do so...
'Give me back my body you piece of shit!' An avatar forming in his mind, Alexander punched forward, sending the unaware red avatar flying.
"Hmm?" Curiously glancing at the now wobbly body of Alexander, almost falling on his side, Lu Shu raised a brow.
'Why are you punching me?! I still remember you! Think of lending me your fleshly vessel as repayment for your earlier sin!'
Crushing the nose of this deity, Alexander scoffed with clear anger.
'What sin?! Daring to fight me is your sin! Lu Shu's sin! All of you! Daring to oppose my path is the greatest sin to ever exist!!'
'Stop struggling so much! Just let me deal with him!'
'If I die, then so be it. But I won't let myself be toyed with any further!!'
Grabbing both wrists of the red deity, Alexander's avatar spread his own arms, brutally tearing the Greater Primordial Deity's avatar in two.
His own silver existence blinding, he forcefully regained control.
The wobbly Alexander suddenly regaining a proper footing, he palmed forward, his sneak attack easily blocked by Lu Shu.
"Pointless struggling! Your end is already determined. None can ever survive against this Lu's death sentence!"
A dark portal forming onto Lu Shu's fist, as if an extension of himself, it cracked and shattered. The dust of this portal covering his fist, it turned void-like.
The punch about to connect with Alexander's stomach, it was somehow evaded.
'!?' Curiously gazing upward, Lu Shu saw a red Alexander stand mid-air with pride.
"Lu Shu! This Deity won't forgive you unless you stop right here and now!"
"What? Even if you are the Greater Primordial Deity... you cannot order me around!"
"Wha-?!" Unable to finish exclaiming his surprise, Alexander's red body was punched in the stomach by the teleporting fist of Lu Shu.
The void fist tearing apart Alexander's own dimension, it formed a giant hole through his entire stomach.
Sparkly blood spraying everywhere, the Greater Primordial Deity was beyond offended.
"Lu Shu! You little ant! How dare you?! If it's like this..."
"Don't you even try!" Aware of the deity's madness, Lu Shu used a blade of Origin Energy to sever the red Alexander's tongue, before slicing his throat apart as well.
An angry Lu Shu striking, his fist also dismembered Alexander's right arm and crushed his sternum.
'I won't forget this! I won't forget any of you!!' His body already doomed to perish, Alexander could only give it up.
'You leave me with no other choice!'
'Die!!' Using the clashing consciousnesses and powers within himself, Alexander forced an instant self-detonation.
A silver and red glow turning into full blown explosions of light, Lu Shu and Uryl could not stop them in time.
A loud bang echoing across Limbo, the body of Alexander imploded, turning into a mist of many colors. Mangled flesh raining down.
.
.
.
The grey ground bloodied a dark blue with faint shades of rainbows, it was trampled on by a man.
A golden sword in his right hand, Lu Shu, now back to his golden self adorning a brilliant life wheel, pointed said sword upfront.
Aimed at a red translucent figure, Lu Shu's sword felt ready to stab this figure without hesitation.
"Greater Primordial Deity! Your puppet is now gone! You have no more host, no more body. Just lie down and wait for your death!"
"Lu Shu! This Deity will never let this grudge be washed away, even through the sea of time! You are now a sinner as well!"
"What sin? This Lu is one of the ten saints from Limbo's Core Territory! If you were at your prime, I would have never dared to breath near you... however, now... you are not even worth my time!" Slashing the air, a golden burst of energy hoped to split the red being in two.
"Lu Shu, once I recover my strength... you won't be able to laugh... nor be able to sleep! Living the rest of your ticking life with your eyes kept wide open!"
"Recover? And how are you going to do that?" Almost laughing aloud, Lu Shu's face fell when seeing the Greater Primordial Deity's peaceful smile.
"Someone at your level doesn't deserve to know. Farewell!" Kicking the ground, the red deity's soul remnant retreated with haste.
Veins bulging near his forehead, Lu Shu felt angry at such a dangerous enemy being left out. Slashing with even more strength, his golden energy blast reach much further, splitting the red figure in half.
His eyes filled with anger, the Greater Primordial Deity cursed.
"Lu Shu! Must you really turn me into your enemy?! I hope for you to live long enough to regret it!"
Looking around, taking in the view of his giant castle and its surroundings turned to rubbles, Lu Shu sighed.
"Uryl... let's go back to the Core Territory. We should give our main bodies a report."
"Yes, master!"
'The Greater Primordial Deity is plotting something... I might need to ask other saints about this.'
"Master!"
"What?" Annoyingly waiting for an answer from a startled Uryl, it did not disappoint.
"Alexander's life wheel is nowhere to be found!"
"..." His face scrunching up from wrath, Lu Shu could only grit his teeth.
'People keep disrespecting me!'

Sorry for the random tiny chapters. I structured and uploaded this as a series of scenes, some of which just didn't need to be very long. I could probably attach the "sub-scenes" to previous chapters, but that'd only be covering it up, so I'm not sure its worth it. Anyway if you find them annoying, let me know, and I'll put some more thought into it. I did, at least, make a point of always posting at least a thousand words on any given day (after I noticed the problem), which hopefully mitigates the problem.
