《Celestial Journey》24] - [The Thief]

"Now, let's make a world, a world unbound by Heaven's rules. For that I will need peace and quiet, along resources, I'm sure that if I go steal resources from the top sects, they won't mind."
While Alexander said those words, he did not believe them. Believed that Ascension Realm Overlords were of equal strength with the Heavens was not without proof, but they knew their status to, in fact much, be much lower. The Heavens in this Universe were just a fragment of the real Heavens. After all, the Heavens knew too much.
So thinking of it this way, Alexander knew he could forcefully create a world where the energies would be abundant. However, making the Heavens bend their rules without him bending some of his own was wishful thinking, and he understood it very clearly.
'I can fight head on against the Heavens, but if it wasn't because of that, I know my contract would be terminated, making me vulnerable to true death once again...'
Indeed, fighting with the Heavens could only be done by taking into account their objective, if not, the Heavens could just cancel the Heaven's Death contract, making that cultivator unable to revive from complete dissipation of the soul.
'Let's not think about this too much, with that, they won't dare target anyone. Receiving a few blows or having to make changes to my plans is all that could possibly happen.'
Teleporting again and again, Alexander pondered.
'If I push my Dao of Space to the absolute limits, I may be able to do it... However, since I am not capable in arrays and such, it's going to be complicated to say the least.' Alexander could only shake his head, not bothering with any occupation, he was just a very powerful cultivator that had close to no equals and even less experts above him.
This meant that Alexander had absolutely no knowledge of formations, arrays, artifact refining or even pills. He was not an artifact refiner, an alchemist nor an array master. He was just strong.
But strong was enough, if he needed something done, he would just bully them until they gave in. How many grandmaster alchemists and array masters had to use their skills because Alexander's fist was bigger than theirs? Countless.
Even if they had reputation, Alexander did not care, grinding their bones to dust until they did his bidding.
It was either make or break.
'Okay, now that I'm in the Lower Realms, let's go even further down!'
Flying down at maximum speed, Alexander only took a few minutes to reach the bottom of the Lower Realms.
Looking at the black sea below, he smiled.
'Sea of the Black Abyss, a beautiful sight, legend has it that falling in it will cause one to perish and reincarnate in a lower plane. Thinking back, I used to wonder if it lead to Earth... But no, Earth is within a Universe, not something even worse! Though it is not impossible. After all, Earth's Universe is inferior to this one. Here, possibilities are endless, energies are everywhere and living beings have a drive. They don't live in despair, knowing full well that only death can free them.'

'Maybe it is actually the case, maybe it is called the Sea of the Black Abyss because it leads to such a Universe... a Universe where despair is all there is. No hopes, no dreams, only pain and suffering... Where all you can do is occupy yourself until you die, just to attenuate the pain.'
Sigh
'Yeah, let's not get close to that.' Flying up for a minute, Alexander arrived back to the sight of worlds flourishing everywhere.
After a few weeks of flight, Alexander nodded.
"This place should do it, even after going to the higher planes, I could not find traces of powerful sects or cultivators. This is desolate everywhere, be it up or down."
Taking another look at the surrounding worlds, he decided.
'Time for some terraforming of sorts.'
Circulating his Star Qi until it turned into even more Emperor Qi, Alexander waved his hand, sending bursts of Emperor Qi all around.
He watched as the green mist-like gusts of Emperor Qi shattered world after world, leaving debris behind.
Seeing that a few worlds were spared into the far distance, Alexander extended his arms, as if grabbing what lied in front.
After a few hours, world after world came flying at breakneck speed toward Alexander.
Not minding the countless gigantic boulders flying at him, he simply waved his extended arm around before putting his palms together.
This action caused the many words along the drifting debris to gather in a specific direction, crashing into each other.
Smiling, Alexander extended his right hand forward, as if grasping the accumulation of matter he created.
A gigantic blue hand print formed, its translucent texture, some white stars twinkling inside, flew to grab the mess of worldly matters.
This was one of Alexander's powerful martial arts, [Grasping the Nine Heavens], albeit used for something quite different this time...
Watching calmly as the giant hand of Star Qi grasped his creation, he controlled it to move in a certain way, shaping his mess into a perfect bead.
'Now... give it an atmosphere... before shaping its surface.'
Having already separated the atmospheres from these former worlds, Alexander simply mixed them together, making sure everything was compatible, before sending it to his world, gifting it a beautiful blue atmosphere.
'There is air alongside Qi. I will need to add some sparse True Qi later, as for the rest, it looks stable. After I'm done with all the rest, I will need to ask the Heavens to bless this place with the appropriate principles.'
Happy with his world, Alexander did not intend to stop anytime soon, this was but the beginning.
Sending controlled attacks everywhere, Alexander gave his world's surface characters, with mountains, ravines, seas, rivers, and much more.
'Alright, now what, I know what I want to do, but for it to work, I'll need some help. Whatever, I'll shape everything and ask the Heavens for the rest, they won't make me pay much for it, right?' Wondering if he had made the right decision, Alexander shattered even more worlds, before enveloping his humongous world that had a radius bigger than anything he had ever seen with another layer of flying dirt, stone and other things.

By using his Divine Sense, Alexander could visualize his creation from a different perspective, not making him reliant on his eyesight alone.
This way, he could tell that everything was going smoothly, this new layer of matter perfectly creating another world on top of the previous one. A floating continent encompassing the entire world.
'Okay, now for the last part of the overall shape.'
Carefully attracting more worlds, he quickly dealt with all of them, giving him more material to work with.
'Put this here... and that...'
Barely a few minutes later, Alexander was done with the first phase.
Letting his now middle layer flat compared to the world below, he made another layer on top, this one did not take as much space, no, Alexander made it so that final layer would be composed of floating islands standing in place, sparsely distributed with the leftover space open.
Shaping them more, Alexander made their surface mountainous while their underside was just like an incomparably tall and thin mountain put upside down.
"Finally!" Shouting loudly, Alexander was ready for the next step, stealing energies!
'How do I go about this... I might just install pipes with Qi Gathering Arrays inside.'
Having millions upon millions of objects in his space rings, Alexander did not lack materials.
Taking out tubes of metal, he placed them inside a giant box he made on the spot, where energies would be stored. Once done, he installed teleportation arrays he had on him, before putting their destination in the Upper Realms.
Like this, days passed, where Alexander would set up his energy stealing tubes everywhere, in the Upper Realms, Main Realms and even Primordial Main Worlds. Since it was mostly devoid of cultivators, Alexander did not bother hiding them for now. If someone dared to temper with them, then he would make them regret living.
'The first rat I catch messing with my structures, they are going to end up in my Eternal Soul Corridor!'
The Eternal Soul Corridor was a place within his pyramid-like gigantic home. This so called corridor looked simple, but really was not.
On each side were tens of thousands of empty jars placed on countless shelves. Separating these shelves from the corridor's path were soundproof glass panels, their soundproof ability given by the many arrays engraved everywhere.
If one were to remove the arrays, they would hear screams and wails of pain and suffering echo throughout the corridor, since these empty jars were, in fact, not empty.
Each of these seemingly empty jars contained souls. And right below these jars was ever burning Soul Fire, capable of inflicting unbearable pain to souls exposed to it. It did not kill them however, Alexander had made sure to make every jar resistant to actual damage, protecting the souls inside.
Alexander remembered that almost all of them had been suffering for millions of years.
It was safe to say that the one to receive this punishment would regret their action, for eternity.
'Unfortunately, the highest cultivation base I could seal inside was a peak Primordial Divinity Realm cultivator, as even the weakest Ascension Realm cultivator would benefit from the Heavenly Way's protection. Angering the Heavenly Way is never a good idea.'
Having finished installing his energy stealing pipes, he simply waited.
A few days later, energies started pouring in his cube. Happy, Alexander let it continue before giving a final touch to his world, putting clouds at the middle layer, giving it a golden sky as well.
It was now time for the real problem.
"Heavens! I, Alexander, request of you to gift my creation complete principles! As well as making each layer I made a different space, comparable to how the Universe's planes work! Each layer being a plane of its own."
Shouting across the Lower Realms, Alexander's booming voice gave way to silence when fading away.
A few minutes later, a voice even more powerful came from above as clouds formed as far as the eye could see.
Already expecting this, Alexander did not seem shocked nor scared, standing calmly in the void of space, his hands behind his back. Listening to the voice coming from the clouds.
"It is possible to do so... But, can you handle the price?"
"What is the price?" Frowning, Alexander wondered if the Heaven's would make it hard for him.
"If you accept to be sealed for one million years, I will agree to it!"
Hearing this... Alexander hesitated, but after some contemplation, he had made his decision.
"I agree!"
Barely a moment later, Alexander's figure was engulfed in black clouds, as these clouds faded away, a diamond shaped, smooth black structure was left. Alexander, inside, was peacefully asleep.
Like this, time flew by...

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic.
