《Celestial Journey》15] - [Breakthrough]

Turning around, Alexander could see the shocked crowd below him, even Krysfer and Sophia were gawking at such might. After all, they had never seen Alexander explicitly show them this much power.
They knew he was strong, but this strong was still beyond their understanding. Of course it was normal since all they ever witnessed were adventurers showing off against beasts or demons, but seeing a casual move completely uproot the landscape hundreds of meters around the impact along an entire mountain being sent flying high into the sky was on a different level.
Just thinking that all of these were only caused by the after effects was enough to shake them down to the core.
With gleaming eyes, the duo stared at Alexander's floating figure with reborn determination.
They too, wanted to obtain such unobstructed might!
Gliding down slowly, Alexander landed on the platform, before turning his head to his left.
"Gregory, I would suggest verifying the damage, and to be honest, if you did not give me such a nice target, then that martial art would've fallen on you!" Chuckling, Alexander enveloped his disciples with Qi before teleporting into space, leaving being the trembling Gregory, his back drenched in cold sweat.
-----
Not waiting for them to question him, Alexander flew in a random direction for a few days, not forgetting to let the duo eat and relieve themselves. The two of them had the best meals of their lives, eating using the same setup they had back on the platform, except for the scenery changing from a red sky covered by grey clouds to a deep green and yellow void of space, multicolored stars twinkling everywhere around.
At some point, Alexander managed to find a very small world, half of the previous one. Satisfied by the concentration of Qi present in its atmosphere, he decided to land on the blue colored world.
Krysfer and Sophia saw themselves landing on a beautiful mountain peak, a flat mountain peak.
Feeling the judging gazes digging holes in his back, he simply snorted.
"So what if I destroyed another mountain peak? Go and live somewhere else then!"
Lowering their heads in shame, they did not say anything.
After a few minutes making arrangements, Alexander was satisfied with the result.
The now flat mountain peak had a staircase on its edge leading down inside a cave. Indicating them to continue cultivating, he sat down like them, his legs crossed as well before closing his eyes.
Like this, time flew, and during these many weeks, the duo would cultivate with peace of mind, sometimes sparring or hunting beasts below.
Opening his eyes, Alexander saw the two of them with pride reflected in their eyes.
Nodding at their cultivation that had stagnated he stood up.
"Alright, tell me, how many revolutions did you guys manage to make?"
Sophia was the first to move forward.

"I reached the thirty-ninth revolution!"
Seeing that he was still behind, Krysfer sighed loudly, his head hung low before moving forward as well.
"thirty-seventh revolution..."
Admiring the contrast of the two for such a measly difference, Alexander shook his head.
"Not terrible, since you guys can't make another revolution, let me explain to you about the next major realm, the Foundation Establishment Realm!"
Noticing the shining eyes his two disciples had, he cleared his throat.
"There are nine layers inside this major realm, and everything is related to your acupoints! These acupoints are also a bit special, as they are related to your meridians."
Observing the curious looks they had he continued.
"Inside your meridians exists nine points where the meridians enlarge, forming orbs or spheres of sorts, these are what you will be focusing on!"
"They are still closed however, they are small and present at the acupoints, but you must, as painful as it will be, destroy the parts of your meridians blocking them." Knowing how confusing it was, he decided to take a tube from his space ring along a transparent sphere.
Stabbing the transparent sphere with the tube he looked at them.
"Here, the tube is a part of your meridians and the sphere is the part I talked about behind your acupoints. What you must do is make it so the tube you see here does not exist within the sphere."
"Think of it as replacing that part of your meridians with the sphere."
Seeing them nod, he continued.
"Now, let me show you where they are."
Pointing at his forehead, he parted his lips.
"This is one, once opened it will be called the Brain Pillar. Opening it will boost you to the first layer."
Pointing at his heart next...
"Here is the Heart Pillar. I think you get it by now, let me just show you the rest quickly."
Pointing at many different place, he showed them in order the mirrored side of his heart on the opposite pectoral, then the bottom of his sternum around the center of his chest before pointing at the Dantian's location, followed by his hands and feet.
Knowing what they would ask he did not hide anything.
"You want to ask about many things I am sure, in case you are curious, the mirrored part of the heart is called the Reversed Heart Pillar, the center one is the Center Pillar and the Dantian obviously the Dantian Pillar. Now for the messy part, the center of your hands and feet do not matter, just know that if you open the one in your left hand, then only this hand will be strengthened, while it still increases your overall strength, it is better to first unlock the hand you are most familiar with during battle. As for the feet, it's the same, though you must open your hand pillars before the foot pillars, why, I don't know exactly, I believe it's because the Heavenly Way would get mad, since it considers the hands before the feet."

Leaving them be, he sat down cross-legged, waiting for almost two months like this, taking care of every powerful beasts around them from time to time.
-----
As the end of the second month closed in, he opened his eyes, taking in the view of his two disciples going around the mountain destroying everything in sight, not even the grass spared.
Looking below at the devastated land, he simply shook his head.
'What are they doing...'
Noticing that their master had moved, they both quickly climbed back up, albeit with some difficulty.
Half an hour later they were back in front of him, their expressions brighter than the sun.
"Seems like you guys are a step away from reaching a hundred... By seeing the wasteland below, I can tell without looking that you are at the absolute peak of the Foundation Establishment Realm..."
Surprised, they looked at each other.
"Master, a hundred what?" Sophia could not help herself from asking.
"Did I not talk about it? I was saying that you guys were a hair breath away from a hundred martial tons."
This time is was Krysfer who was confused.
"A hundred martial tons? Is that a unit of power?"
Nodding his head Alexander opened his mouth again.
"Indeed! Back when you guys were using Mana, your power could be counted in magic stones, from a single magic stone of power up to 360 000 magic stones, the highest I have ever heard of. As young and weak cultivators, you should use martial units and martial tons as a measurement. Those first measurements are a bit different as one martial ton is equal to a thousand martial units, but after that is no longer valid."
Looking at the two he followed.
"So first let me give you their order, it starts at 'mortal unit'. A thousand of them is equal to a single 'magic stone', a thousand magic stones will give you one 'martial unit', a thousand of them equal to a single 'martial ton'."
Seeing that they were not lost already he nodded.
"A million martial tons is equal to one 'mountain' of power, a million mountains is then equal to a single 'true mountain', a million of these equivalent to one 'Low-Star'"
"This means that someone who has the equivalent of one million true mountains of power, using the appropriate energy, can in theory destroy up to a Tier-3 World in a single blow!"
"As for the rest, it is very simple, you have above 'Low-Star', 'Mid-Star', 'Upper-Star' and finally 'Peak-Star'"
Not waiting for questions just yet he continued.
"One 'Peak-Star' is equal to a thousand 'Upper-Stars', that same 'Peak-Star' is also equal to a million 'Mid-Stars' and a billion 'Low-Stars'"
"I'm sure you can see how this works now, and yes, I know that you are curious about my level of power, I'll just say it now, I should be around 7 750 'Upper-Stars' or an equivalent of near eight 'Peak-Stars'. Making me able to punch through almost eight Tier-10 Worlds in a single blow."
As he was about to explain to them what the next major realm was, he saw them blanking out of reality, their eyes as wide open as their mouths.
Wondering if they had somehow fainted he could only click his tongue before 'gently' slapping them, blasting the duo to the side, obviously having controlled his strength to avoid sending them to Hell and back with this 'slow and kind' slap.
Awakening from their stupors, the two seemed as if they simply awoke from a peaceful dream, their minds at peace despite the bright red mark on their cheeks.
"Alright, since you guys are awake, let's talk about the next major realm, with how easy it is, I'll also tell you about the one after!"
Hearing this, they immediately perked their ears and focused, leaving being their former blank looks.
Alexander could only sigh at his disciples' ever changing behaviors.
"Alright, the next major realm is called the Qi Master Realm! All you have to do is master Qi! From being able to use it from a distance, or making extremely hard shapes with it, do whatever you want! There are nine stages, the first stage requires a mastery of ten percent! As for the ones after, it requires ten more percent than the last! Meaning that to reach the peak you require a mastery of ninety percent over Qi!"
Not bothering himself with questions he did not stop.
"The next major realm after that is the Profound Realm!"
"There are three stages, 'Low Stage', 'Middle Stage' and 'Upper Stage' respectively."
"The first simply requires a mastery of a hundred percent over Qi, as for the following two, they should be a breeze with how easy they are. The second stage only ask of you to be able to reinforce your entire body by using Qi as an external armor, coating your entire body with it"
"As for the last stage, it requires one to be able to project Qi outside of their body, a good example of how much is required for it to count would be the entire coating of a sword."
Watching as the duo finished taking notes, he nodded before sitting back down and closing his eyes, not paying attention anymore to the two.
'Let's get them to the Star Realm before having them experience the harsh world.'
Having already planned his next move, Alexander waited patiently.

Under a Boundless Sky

Average grades, and hard to find in a crowd, though you'd think that someone with her looks would be more noticeable. She likes it that way—After all, it's much easier to keep a secret when nobody's looking for one. If you enjoy my work, please consider supporting me on Patreon.
