Chapter 2277: The Teleportation Gate’s Collapse!
Translated by: Hypersheep325

Grand Supreme and Radiance Supreme moved quickly, but they couldn’t outrun Wang Chong.
“Sword of God!”
Wang Chong immediately unleashed his strongest attack.
With Wang Chong’s current level of strength, he could unleash an attack with Genesis Supreme’s halo that was far more powerful than Genesis Supreme had been able to achieve.
Rumble!
Space rumbled as a golden beam of Sword Qi, blazing with intense and resplendent flames, sliced through those two golden figures, instantly obliterating them.
But on impact, it did not seem as if the Sword Qi had struck any flesh. Those two golden figures disappeared like they had been illusions.
“Clones?”
Wang Chong couldn’t help but frown at this sight.
Though he was surprised, he swiftly understood. Their original bodies had left long ago.
“Hmph, two cowardly mice.”
Wang Chong coldly laughed, derision in his eyes. He knew that the hidden Grand Supreme and Radiance Supreme could hear him.
In the war of the northeast, Genesis Supreme had been slain. Grand Supreme and Radiance Supreme were also Supremes of the same organization, and this entire time, the two of them had been controlling everything from behind the curtain. Though they had seemed calm and composed, apparently not taking Wang Chong seriously, the death of Genesis Supreme had clearly had a major impact on them.
Otherwise, the two of them would not have absconded, leaving behind two clones to handle everything.
But Wang Chong quickly put the two of them aside. With the giant idol defeated and the clones left behind by the Supremes slain, there was nothing left to stop him.
Wang Chong slowly raised his eyes to the grandiose dimensional teleportation gate, still spewing out enormous amounts of cold energy.
“So long as this teleportation gate is destroyed, the objective will be achieved, and the Great Ice Age confronting humanity will end.”
Wang Chong took in a deep breath, and as he looked at the teleportation gate, he suddenly became absentminded.
For a moment, he thought back to his previous life.
The fall of his clan had caused him to wander about for a long time, blindly drifting with the waves. He had essentially been a bystander, and he had only learned of many major events from the mouths of others.

According to his previous memories, after the Sage Emperor’s death, the Great Ice Age had descended, but it hadn’t lasted for long.
Many people mostly died at the hands of the otherworldly invaders or starved to death in the chaos. But judging by what the Celestial God Organization was doing now, this clearly wasn’t normal.
Did someone force their way in here back then and secretly get rid of the Great Ice Age? Or maybe it was something else that I don’t know about.
Or perhaps my resolving the Great Tang’s various crises has led to another minor deviation in how the world develops?
Countless thoughts ran through Wang Chong’s mind, but he only felt more confused.
Some things, once missed, were gone forever, and the truth would remain forever unknown.
“Let’s just hurry up and destroy this teleportation gate!”
Wang Chong quickly got ahold of himself and focused on the teleportation gate.
Unlike the teleportation gate at the Caspian Sea, this teleportation gate was fully formed. It could extract energy from the other world and did not need an energy core.
As it was already stable, Wang Chong could not destroy it as he had the one at the Caspian Sea.
Even so, now that he had comprehended the laws of the Grotto Heaven realm, this problem was not very difficult. Destruction was always much easier than construction.
Buzz!
Wang Chong’s eyes flashed as he used the True World ability.
Everything before him rapidly faded away, to be replaced by overlapping and crisscrossing spacetime frameworks. In the True World, the teleportation gate took on an entirely different appearance.
A simple gate had turned into a stable structure built from countless overlapping dimensions.
This aspect would explain why only Supremes, who were at the Grotto Heaven realm, were capable of presiding over a dimensional teleportation gate.
Looking around, Wang Chong also saw very exquisite spacetime formations of various sizes installed around the area to stabilize the gate. While each of these formations stood alone, they were also linked to each other into a stable framework.
When paired with the already stabilized structure of the teleportation gate, this entire region was rendered extremely stable.
Considering that this dimensional teleportation gate connected two worlds, it would require an unfathomable amount of energy to destroy the teleportation gate.

From a certain perspective, destroying the teleportation gate would require destroying the stability of the dimensions in which the two worlds resided.
Even for Grotto Heaven experts, this represented a formidable challenge.
Despite this, Wang Chong continued to inspect the teleportation gate again and again, his eyes unperturbed.
Just like how if one wanted to destroy a bridge, one needed to only destroy a single supporting pillar, Wang Chong was sure that this giant teleportation gate had to have something similar.
He simply needed to find it and destroy it.
“Found it!”
Wang Chong’s eyes focused on a blank area in the depths of the teleportation gate the size of a fingernail.
This fingernail-sized area was nothing in comparison to the vastness of the teleportation gate.
But it was this area that stood out the most to Wang Chong, because this area was completely unaffected by spacetime ripples, and none of the formations reached this place.
With his understanding of formations, Wang Chong was keenly aware of what this blank area signified.
This was the starting point of everything, the point from where Grand Supreme and Radiance Supreme had begun constructing the dimensional teleportation gate.
Nothing was perfect, and it did not matter how long the Celestial God Organization had existed, how many resources it had, how much effort it had placed on the construction of the teleportation gate, or how strenuously it endeavored to correct flaws.
This innate flaw in formations could never be fixed.
Buzz!
Wang Chong’s body blinked away as he jumped into the teleportation gate.
From a distance, the dimensional teleportation gate seemed like a giant arched door, but inside it were countless overlapping dimensions. This was a form of innate defense for the teleportation gate.
Wang Chong turned into a tiny silhouette as he navigated his way through these countless dimensional fragments, and several seconds later, he arrived at the blank area.
After some thought, Wang Chong waved his hand, summoning the giant idol and slamming it into the blank area.
This fingernail-sized area colliding with the idol’s enormous body instantly created an intense reaction conflict.
Rumble!
A moment later, the giant teleportation gate began to shudder.
In normal circumstances, anything that Wang Chong tried to throw in here would be crushed and obliterated by the teleportation gate. It was not that easy to destroy a massive edifice like this.
But the giant idol had been left behind by Heaven, and it had been made of some unknown metal. Only the giant idol could resist the grinding of space.
This also made it a perfect tool for destroying the teleportation gate.
Rumble!
As if a chain reaction had been set off, the teleportation gate began to shudder more and more.
Something was finally happening to that ceaseless flow of cold wave energy that had erupted from the teleportation gate for several months.
Crack!
As Wang Chong looked on, the two white pillars flanking the teleportation gate began to crack apart.
The dazzling light from the teleportation gate also began to dim.
Before this, the teleportation gate had been fused together with this space. But at the moment Wang Chong destroyed the teleportation gate, this space in which the teleportation gate had been located began to collapse!
Clack! Another enormous spatial fissure appeared, sundering the earth as if it had been struck by an axe.
If this continued, then once the giant teleportation gate collapsed, this space which the Celestial God Organization had created with its prodigious abilities would also cease to exist.
“It’s about time to leave.”
Wang Chong wasn’t worried about the collapsing space around him. He had achieved his objection of destroying the gate, and without the endless stream of cold energy, the human world would slowly return to normal.
Buzz!
Wang Chong jumped out of the giant teleportation gate, and sharp spatial shards sliced at him from all sides.
These shards made of pure spacetime energy could obliterate even the toughest of bodies.
But Wang Chong easily made his way through them as if he was taking a walk in his personal garden.
Just as Wang Chong was emerging from the teleportation gate, the voices of Grand Supreme and Radiance Supreme rang out.
“Child of Destruction, don’t celebrate too soon!”
“No one can oppose the gods without penalty! Since you have destroyed the teleportation gate, disappear together with it!”
Before Wang Chong could react, the northeast corner of this dimension dissolved into countless tiny particles of dust that vanished into the void.
At the same moment, an endless darkness began to devour this entire dimension.
