Before the fire arrived, the solar storm had already turned into destructive waves and highly-penetrative particles that swept their starships and their bases in the rear, filling every cabin, every pathway, every space shuttle, and every crystal suit on every starship and even occupying the ears, eyes, brains, and minds of those who saw them .

Nobody, regardless of whether or not they stared at the sun, could resist its power .
