Lea had just held onto the beast skin bag from Cole when Cole collapsed straight to the ground with a loud thud. Obviously, he had been freezing.
Gu Mengmeng felt her heart jolt cause of his collapse.
It was unclear whether it was because she had known about his past, but the enemity she had towards him had diminished, especially because he had left this time so that he would not annoy her with his presence and that she would feel better. In addition, he had braced the wind and snow to pluck fruits for her, no matter how heartless she was, Gu Mengmeng still felt slightly remorseful.

Gu Mengmeng held onto a small bowl and stared blankly at the bowl filled with Xue Ling fruits, without eating any of them.
Elvis used his chest to support her back and his hand crossed her shoulders to hold her little hands gently, as he asked, “Why are you not eating? Don’t you love these fruits the most? I remember that when you were pregnant with Hede and the others, you could eat three big bowls of these fruits in one seating.”

Gu Mengmeng shook her head and replied, “There’s many Xue Ling fruits on Motou Mountains. Gregory… that time he would pluck them for me to eat every day, but he said that I could only eat at most 10 each time, otherwise it would be too cooling for me and my stomach would be ill.”

When Lea said this, he glanced at Cole and it was obvious what he meant.
