Before Fu Xiuyu could respond, Yu Shuang spazzed out, “Oh crap! Those who destroyed Lin Xiyan’s room were brought to the police station . They have already told the police that Ms . Fu was the one behind the scene!”

Fu Xiuyu was once again shocked . He stared at Fu Siying, “You said you didn’t ask anyone to cause her trouble . You said your fans were the ones who acted on their own . ”

Fu Xiuyu no longer sounded confident, “Brother, I was upset! The fire is already under our feet, we should focus on how to solve our problems!”

Fu Xiuyu’s brows furrowed together tightly . Just then, a security guard rushed in, flustered .

“CEO, our building is now surrounded by fans! They are asking Ms . Fu to go downstairs and apologize!”

Fu Xiuyu’s face was so dark it could rain . He looked over to Gu Xinze, “I thought Sky Entertainment didn’t like to meddle with anything in the industry . But it looks like, behind the scene, it has always been looking for ways to destroy Star Entertainment . Director Gu, are you happy with the way things turned out?”

Gu Xinze shook his head, “Our CEO is not someone who enjoys this kind of stuff . If it weren’t for the fact that Ms . Fu took it too far and infuriated her, our companies would’ve continued to co-exist in peace . ”

“CEO Fu, right now, you shouldn’t be arguing against me . Instead, you should figure out what to do next . ”

Right after he spoke, the resting room door was pushed open and several policemen walked in, “Which one of you is Fu Siying?”

Fu Siying was shocked . She turned and hid behind Fu Xiuyu again, “What do you want?!”

The policeman cuffed her, “You’re Fu Siying right? After investigating, we concluded that you hired people to hurt Lin Xiyan and destroyed her property . We have evidence and witnesses . Please come with us . ”

“No! Brother, they’re trying to take me to jail! Brother, save me! I don’t want to be in jail!”

Fu Xiuyu guarded Fu Siying and said to the police, “Who gave you permission to come here for her?! Call your department head officer! Isn’t the money I sent useful at all?!”

The police chuckled, “It’s the head officer who asked us to come here and get her . If CEO Fu really wants to talk about connections, I can only tell you that the person up against you is not someone you can provoke . ”

Fu Xiuyu’s heart felt a turmoil of emotions . He silently guessed just who the CEO was for Sky Entertainment . Other than Jun, Qi, and Mu, who else had more influence on the police department than the Fu family?

After a moment of silence, Fu Xiuyu finally accepted that his enemy wasn’t playing around, “Even if I do not rely on my connection, you think I don’t know the law?”

“I watched the video just now – those people only made a mess of the place . They never hurt anyone critically . It’s easy to talk things through with the victim after the fact and reach a settlement . Why is it necessary for the police to come?”

The police nodded, “While that is true, did you privately resolve your issue?”

Fu Xiuyu choked .

The police continued, “Since no deal was made, we need to follow the law and hold her under our custody for 15 days . ”

Fu Siying was in shock, “No! I refuse to go to jail! If that happens, my career would be over!”

Fu Xiuyu’s face kept on changing colors . He headed towards Gu Xinze, “I want to see your CEO . ”

He wasn’t an idiot and he knew Lin Xiyan’s background . The problem here lies within the master behind the scene – the CEO of Sky Entertainment .

Gu Xinze snorted, “You think you’re someone our CEO would want to see?”

“You…” Fu Xiuyu’s chest heaved up and down . He said through his teeth, “So you want to sign Bai Weiwei… I agree to the $80M medical bill and also will sign the termination papers . ”

He then looked over to Yu Shuang, “Go get the contract . ”

Qi Xinze smiled, “I thought I told you . If you refuse to give me what I want at the time I wanted it, I may not want it anymore by the time you change your mind . ”
