《Ranker's Return》Chapter 677

-Little brother?
-Now Tang-E is calling him little brother?
-Did you see Tang-E? What is he talking about?
-Where did you see Tang-E? I saw nothing.
-No, I spotted Tang-E on the edge of the screen and he said ‘little brother’ while looking at the purple bear.
-Don’t lie. You will go to hell.
A fraction of the more than 10 million viewers of Hyeonu’s livestream heard Tang-E’s voice. It was just that most viewers were focused on Hyeonu, so they didn’t believe it. It was natural since they neither saw nor heard it with their own eyes and ears.
However, some viewers who clearly saw the scene didn’t give up. Public opinion in the chat window might be against them, but they had a community.
A community where only people like them were gathered—they could talk there.
There was one more reason why their story no longer attracted attention. As the distance between Hyeonu, Tang-E, and Gom-E widened, only Hyeonu appeared on the screen of the livestream. They lost interest because they couldn’t see the two bears. Viewers were that fickle.
‘Hmm... Is it impossible to do it at once?’
Hyeonu quickly hunted a group of demons and demonic creatures. The demon noble that Hyeonu was waiting for didn’t appear.
‘Yes, it is too much if it shows up here.’
It was excessive greed. There were still so many demons and demonic creatures remaining. It was countless. He could see thousands of demonic creatures just by looking around.
‘Just continue and the noble will come out.’
Of course, this was if there was a noble in Tendmul. Nevertheless, Hyeonu was convinced there would be a noble.
‘The position of city master is very bewitching.’
Not all nobles owned cities. Now that Damanos, the head of one faction, had died, and the owner of the ring was blurred, it was a great opportunity for nobles to own a city. They couldn’t miss such an opportunity.
‘Maybe there isn’t just one, but a number of them.’
It was a situation that Hyeonu wanted. Numerous nobles—it meant the rewards would increase accordingly.
‘I want a skill book.’
Now items didn’t really matter. It was unlikely that there would be better items than what he was currently wearing and he didn’t feel the need to change his items. Meanwhile, skills were different. In particular, the more continuous skills he had, the better.
‘It is a bead that shines even without any polishing...’
Hyeonu looked at the demonic creatures with greedy eyes.
“The eyes of that human...!”
“We have to run away, or we must join forces right away and kill that human.”
“Sneer. He is a human. Let’s kill him right away.”
Compared to the demonic creatures, the more intelligent demons that were able to communicate thought of facing Hyeonu despite trembling with fear. It was due to their preconceived notions of human beings. It was despite the scary momentum coming from Hyeonu and the force he just showed. It gave them the courage to ignore both things and rush in.

The reaction was completely different from when Hyeonu disguised himself as a demon.
-They don’t have brains?
-The artificial intelligence is too low.
-They are almost like living treasure chests, right?
-A good source of experience, gold, and a slight chance to drop items.
-They might think it is easy because Alley Leader is alone.
The viewers laughed at the demons who suddenly changed their attitudes. The demons were like moths jumping into a blazing flame.
‘Isn’t this different from usual?’
Hyeonu smiled when he felt the atmosphere from the group of demons. It was good for Hyeonu that the demons were rushing in. He didn’t have to chase and hunt them.
‘I’ll be thankful if they come.’
Hyeonu lightly swung the Mysterious Sky Sword. The Mysterious Sky Sword contained an ominous purple magic power. A huge crescent moon covered the demons rushing toward Hyeonu.
The demons weren’t just obediently hit. They did their best to attack. They poured out all their magic power. They didn’t care about saving it for the future. There was only Hyeonu in front of them right now.
The magic power launched by the demons clashed with the strong energy fired by Hyeonu. The collision lasted a long time. The attacks containing the magic power of dozens of demons wasn’t a one-off attack. Hundreds and thousands of chunks of magic power collided with the purple crescent moon.
Yet in Arena, quality was more important than quantity. The purple crescent moon overcame a lot of resistance and moved forward little by little. The bodies of the demons were cut in half and blood soared like a fountain. On the ground, pools of blood spread everywhere.
-Wow, in just one blow...
-The hunting is amazing.
-Isn’t the amount of monsters enough to block a party for an hour?
-I think that is about right. They usually kill two or three at a time.
The viewers just admired it and they laughed at the misjudgment of the demons.
‘I will go deeper inside.’
Hyeonu quickly cleared the scene. He crushed the bodies of the few demons left and moved his body quickly. Hyeonu’s destination was the center of Tendmul.
“A human?!”
“I was wondering why the city was noisy... was it because of a human?”
“Kill him right now!”
The demons confirmed Hyeonu’s identity and went on a rampage. It was natural. Hyeonu was alone and a human. Additionally, he had hidden his magic power. Naturally, the demons had no choice but to rush over confidently. They didn’t even know that the place where they were rushing to was a hell.
-Even if he stays still, the demons will flock.
-Is this a battle of wit against wit?
-No, it is a fish farm.
-Breaking news, breaking news! The contribution of Alley Leader in the Tendmul occupation is confirmed to be number one.
Viewers laughed at the corpses piling up in front of Hyeonu. The rate at which the bodies piled up wasn’t normal. The demons fell down as they rushed in. Hyeonu slaughtered the demons by emitting purple pure energy. He even destroyed buildings like they were nothing. Hyeonu was literally breaking Tendmul.

‘Is there still a long way to go?’
It had already been 30 minutes since Hyeonu started the massacre. It was 30 minutes and it was safe to say that a tenth of Tendmul was blown away. Magic power was supplied indefinitely, so he was unstoppable. Later, he used so much magic power that his head was pounding.
‘It is about time for one to come out...’
Hyeonu eagerly hoped for it. He wanted to rest a bit now. He had hunted for hours and days in the past, but they were hunts with moderate rest. Hyeonu hunted alone. Naturally, the fatigue that built up compared to the players in the party wasn’t a joke.
It happened at this moment...
Someone called out to Hyeonu, “Master dude!!”
A bear with black ears and golden fur—it was Tang-E.
“What is it? What's going on?"
Hyeonu stopped picking up the gold piled up on the ground and turned toward Tang-E. Tang-E hadn’t come alone. He brought a purple bear that resembled him with him.
“I found it.”
“What?”
Hyeonu’s eyes widened at Tang-E’s unexpected words.
‘Did I ask him to find something?’
-He must’ve given an order after turning off the sound.
-What did he do?
-Is Tang-E eating again? Just eat, feed, or eat.
-Go away, evil master! Alley Leader should respect Tang-E’s authority!
Hyeonu checked the chat window just in case, but there was nothing related to it in the chat window. There were more than 10 million viewers. If Hyeonu had really said anything, someone would’ve remembered it.
“The one that Master dude is looking for. I found a strong guy.”
Tang-E raised his head toward Hyeonu.
‘A strong guy?
Hyeonu was well aware of what Tang-E meant. A boss monster. Right now, it meant a demon noble.
“Where is it?” Hyeonu’s eyes became alive. At the same time, it was filled with greed.
“He will be here soon.”
“He is coming soon? How do you know that?”
“In fact, I’ve been running away from him. He is very angry.”
“What are you talking about?”
Tang-E started to explain the situation, “I met him while wandering in search of Master dude. He tried to touch me, so I struck him on the cheek.”
“That’s why he is chasing you. Then you ran away and came to me?”
Tang-E nodded. It was an accurate description.
‘He is good at bringing out anger in other people.’
For Hyeonu, it was no different from running over with a treasure.
“Where is he?! That shrewd bastard! I can’t get rid of this anger until I take a bath in his blood.”
Just then, a demon appeared with a thunderous shout. It was a male who was over three meters tall. Unlike this dark blue skin, his right cheek was dyed red.
-It looks like he was hit properly?
-Wow, even an undead’s cheeks would’ve heated up.
-Tang-E’s paws are spicy.
-Originally, smaller ones are hotter.
Viewers looked at the demon’s cheek and expressed their appreciation.
“I’m going to kill you!”
The huge, hulking demon spotted Tang-E and charged straight over. Hyeonu released a frightening pressure toward the approaching demon. He took out everything he had. The combination of fighting energy, killing intent, and the magic power stat was dangerous in itself. As evidence of this, the demon’s body stiffened in the air.
‘This pressure...’
The demon wasn’t hit by Hyeonu’s pressure. He was one of the most famous demon nobles. He wasn’t hurt by Hyeonu’s pressure like the players. Still, it was clear that he stopped in surprise due to Hyeonu’s pressure. There was a threatening pressure coming from a place he couldn’t think about.
“Who are you?!” the demon world’s earl, Markelom, shouted at Hyeonu with a puzzled expression.
“Me? I’m his master,” Hyeonu spoke proudly as he glanced at Tang-E.
“Master? Are you the master of that bastard?”
“This damn guy. How can you say that about someone else’s precious baby? You damn jerk.”
Hyeonu’s figure disappeared in an instant. He literally disappeared like he had evaporated. The disappeared Hyeonu appeared in front of Markelom. Hyeonu quickly reached out a hand. Of course, he didn’t forget to wrap his hand in magic power. There was the sound of a bomb exploding and Markelom’s body flew far away. He failed to withstand the shock Hyeonu gave him.
-Hey, did you hear that sound?
-He was hit properly?
-He got hit by the pet and the master.
-I think a few teeth have come out.
-Hey, he is a demon. How can teeth explode? It should be durable.
-What if it is hit by Alley Leader?
-Then I acknowledge it.
Viewers laughed at the shocking scene presented by Hyeonu. Hitting the cheek of a monster. It was also the cheek of a demon noble.
“You!!!” Markelom, who had been slapped and fell, reappeared with an angry expression. He was filled with killing intent.
However, no one could be horrified after seeing Markelom’s face. Swollen cheeks. The teeth that had sparsely fallen out.
It was so ridiculous that they could only laugh.
“Do you want one more slap?”
Markalom couldn’t help flinching at Hyeonu’s words. However, he soon rushed to Hyeonu because he didn’t want to admit that he was scared by Hyeonu’s words.
-Hey, he seems to have a plan?
-What plan?
-To be beaten less.
-A runaway train is going to be ruined anyway. ㅋ ㅋ ㅋ
