《Magus Of Darkness》Chapter 89: Lovestruck
Advertisement
The wedding was in 2 days and Andromeda was having a crisis. She didn’t know if she wanted to continue with the wedding and marry Sybal. She loved or thought she loved Sybal, but now she knows the real feeling of love. But at the same time, she was scared, Sybal was still a rank 3 magus apprentice no matter how he liked to hide that fact. And they don’t like to be slighted, especially by mortals. So, if she cancelled the wedding then it would be a direct insult to him and that might put her life at risk.
But what she feared the most was not her life; no, she is ready to die. But she knew that Sybal was a smart man, and he will figure out that she is in love with another man. And his first guess would be of course Rhax, even though Rhax is innocent she fears that he will kill him just to make her feel the loss of her love.
Sybal may be a light magus, but Andromeda knew all magus are the same. Maybe they train and act differently, but at their core they are all the same. The same greedy, cunning, ruthless murderers. Sybal may not be the Dark Eyed Demon, Andromeda doubted there is another magus apprentice like him, but he was still capable of killing everyone in the palace and not even blink. Then he would take over the city like the Demon did with Firebird city.
She knew that Lady Veronica is in charge, but only the retards will believe that. No matter what gender or race you are, if you are married to a magus and you are a mortal then the magus is running things and not you. Your only job is to obey.
She figured that it will eventually happen to her, that’s why she in the past months and days has been making herself more important thus if Sybal wanted to take over her position as the ruler, he will find it is a hard job.

She could feel the headache creeping up on her, it has been more frequent the past days. She has been thinking if she wanted to marry and if she wanted Sybal as the man she would say “I do” to. But it didn’t bring her answers, only a headache.
The knock on her door made her stop her thinking and bid the person to enter. The door opened and Rhax came in, he was wearing a simple leather armor, he had his signature smile on. “My Lady, it is late, you should probably rest, we don’t want you tired for your wedding.”
Andromeda flinched internally when he mentioned the wedding, it was like he was accusing her of cheating on him. ‘Don’t be an idiot, he doesn’t even know that you are in love with him.’
“Yeah,” she said in a tired voice, “no one would like that. But I want to talk with you first, so let’s go to my chambers for more privacy.” She felt her cheeks heat up at her bluntness.
“Sure thing.” He said and gestured to her to walk in front of him.
She was curious so she asked. “Why do you always make me walk in front of you?”
Rhax smiled a smile she never saw before and bit his bottom lip in a manner that made her almost go insane. “Better view.” He said while looking at her body.
She felt a shiver go through all of her body, she didn’t know if he was teasing her or if he was serious. But if he was teasing her then she would give him that he was very fucking good. The ache between her thighs was getting more and more intense by the second. She didn’t know if Rhax teased her again if she could herself or not from kissing him and making him Her's.

She already knew Rhax was not a maid, after all, he told her himself when she asked him about his time with his lover Ursula. Just the mention of her name made her angry for some reason, it was like she was her love rival. ‘Calm yourself, she is dead and you are alive. Also, there is no love rival because you are marrying another man and Rhax is not your husband or lover to think about him like that.’
They finally reached her room, she let out a sigh of relief when she saw her room. She then remembered that Rhax is going inside with her to talk, and that made the ache in between her thighs more intense.
She opened the door to her room and walked in, she heard Rhax enter behind her and close the door shut. That made her excited for some reason.
She went and sat on her bed; she saw Rhax standing awkwardly in front of her. She gestured for him to sit beside her.
He sat with a grunt, but he didn’t stop there. He laid on the bed and let out a moan of satisfaction. “This is a good bed, very comfortable and durable from what I see. Sybal and you should use it well.” He winked at her in a suggestive manner.
She blushed and swatted his chest, she hit his rock-hard muscles. And before she knew what she was doing, she found herself caressing them. Rhax was looking at her with confusion and dare she say lust.
His eyes lost both of these emotions and he gently removed her hand from his chest and made to stand up.
She grabbed his hand with her own and pleaded. “Please don’t go.”
Rhax sighed and looked at her with the saddest look she ever saw on his face. “I can’t Andromeda, I have to go now.”
She pleaded again. “But why?”
Rhax had the same look in his eyes when he spoke. “Because, if I stay here, I don’t think I could stop myself from touching you. And I can’t do that, you are to be married in 2 days. And do not need some lovestruck great knight to confuse you more.”
The moment she heard lovestruck her mind did a restart. ‘He loves me?’ She thought with the happiest voice she had. Before she knew it, she was on her tiptoes and kissing the man she loved. It was one of the happiest moments in her life especially since he kissed her back. But he drew back in a swift motion and spoke. “We can’t Andromeda, good night and sleep well.”

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
