Enchanted dagger
Mana cost: 2
Daedalus, "I can summon a dagger from the demon plane for you to use in battle. A decent enough tool that can be used for hacking away at nasty obstructions I've found."(Enchanted dagger - 5 damage.)
Awareness
Mana cost: 3
Daedalus, "Will give you a better sense of your surrounding and the ability react to danger much faster, although my most recent master Waqriyul preferred using it when he hunted. A deadly sport if I may say so." (- 8 Damage)
Firebolt
Mana cost: 4
Daedalus, "Another favorite of Waqriyul, he did so enjoy watching things burn."(Option will occasionally appear throughout the story.)
Shield
Mana cost: 5
Daedalus, "Karesto would often say that I was the best shield he had ever used, though the compliment was fairly innocuous considering he would use me like a battering ram and allow me to be singed. Something which never failed to amuse him."(+15 Resilience)
Storm of Light

Daedalus, "Distract enemies with a light display that will be truly blinding."(Option will occasionally appear throughout the story.)
Enchanted Blade
Mana cost: 10
Daedalus, "Lighter than a feather and sharper than steel, this blade can cut through most everything with a single wave."(Enchanted Blade -20 damage.)
Heal
Mana cost: 15
Daedalus, "A simple if not elegant spells that transfers mana into health."(15 Mana, restores 5 Health points.)
Iron Skin
Mana cost: 20
Daedalus, "Become a weapon of unimaginable power, able to charge through walls and crush enemies in your fist." ( +20 Resilience)

Fireball Barrage
Mana cost: 30
Daedalus, "A personal favorite of mine, able to wipe out entire groups of enemies with a single blast."
Undead Bodyguard
Mana cost: 50
Daedalus, "Given life from death, it will serve you loyally without question and protect you for as long as it still lives."(Once summoned, the Undead Bodyguard will temporarily act as your companion for a single scenario and will take all the damage meant for you. However should it be destroyed or it is unable to adsorb all the damage, some of the damage will leak to you.)

2. "Let us see you stop this!" Hands lifted upward, a great ball of fire forms above him and rushes towards you.

If you're successful: Yellow eyes flaring, the mage lets out a curse.
If you've failed to counter: -100 Health points.
3. Hands pressed together, the dark mage summons a golem made of stone, that lumbers towards you.

If you're successful: With the golem smashed to pieces, you can sense the mage becoming angrier as though hoping you would fail.
If you've failed to counter: -100 Health points.
4. Bolt after bolt of lightning is flung at you, the magic sizzling across the air.

Shield(-5 Mana) or Awareness(-3 Mana) or Undead Bodyguard (-50 Mana), any of these should work well against this spell.
If you're successful: Left eye twitching, the mage lets out a leer. "You've been lucky so far."
If you've failed to counter: -100 Health points.
5. Again the mage's fingers whirl into action, and soon you're faced with an army of skeletons who stumble towards you with rusted axes.

If you're successful: The dark mage's frustration is beginning to show and you begin to wonder if this was even a test now.
If you've failed to counter: -100 Health points.
6. Darkness engulfs the room, followed by flames shooting towards you. (You'll need to think of a spell combination to counter this one. )

Combine Storm of Light(-5 Mana) with Fireball Barrage (-30 Mana) or combine Light(-1 Mana) with Fireball Barrage(-30 Mana), either combination should work well against these spells.
If you're successful: Briefly blinded by the light, the mage stumbles backwards.
If you've failed to counter: -100 Health points.
7. Furious now, the dark mage sends wave after wave of fire towards you, leaving you with no room to dodge.

If you're successful: Mouth twisted into a snarl, the mage glowers at you.
If you've failed to counter: -100 Health points.
8. "Time to put an end to this game,"growls the mage.
Not liking the way he is looking at you, you decide it's time to act and launch an attack of your own. (You'll need to think up a spell combination to both attack and defend, and find a way to not kill him outright. )

Combine Shield(-5 Mana) with Enchanted Blade (-10 Mana) or combine Shield(-5 Mana) with Enchanted Dagger(-2 Mana), or Combine Undead Bodyguard(-50 Mana) with Enchanted Blade (-10 Mana) or combine Undead Bodyguard (-50 Mana) with Enchanted Dagger(-2 Mana), any of these combinations should allow you to get close enough to the enemy and put an end to the fight.
If you're successful: Charging quickly towards the mage, you block his attacks and press a blade against his throat. "I'd say I won this game mage, but I'll let you decide."
Glumly the mage nodded his head. "You have passed this test."
