"Hurry my champion, hurry, the Bloodstorm rises again and the winds of fate begin to dance a new tune. This world will know war unlike any they have seen before and all could soon be lost if you do not hurry."
Drawn in by her strange words, you find yourself standing atop the slopes of a colossal white mountain, the wind blowing against you and look down to see millions of goblins gathered below, thunder crashing all around them, their voices swept across the frozen surface of the tundra, when a voice as ancient as time itself blasts from every direction, darkening the clouds...
...Blinded by a momentary burst of light, you brush a hand across your eyes, and find yourself amidst a sea of grey tents with dwarven voices barking commands, blacksmiths hammering weapons and thousands of cook fires surrounded by dwarves. While atop a small hill to the north stands a large grey tent, where a group of well dressed dwarves discuss battle tactics, Dywin's familiar face lifting up from the shadows to stare off towards the brewing storm on the horizon...
...Lorna and Gorrack, their bodies caked in sweat and grime, race through a darkened forest with shadowy figures nipping at their heels, when they freeze in place to look up at the clouds in horror, their mouths gaping in a wordless scream, before being washed away to be replaced with Bone eye...
...Left eye glittering with malice, the Minotaur's sits by the campfire sharpening his greatsword, when abruptly he looks up to meet your gaze, "Soon we shall meet again and this time we shall see who is the better blade..."
...Streaks of red lightning rumble through the clouds, and again you hear the voice from the mountain, beating your skull, pounding it's way through you, almost like a tidal wave of noise. The sound building up to a crescendo until with a thunderous crash, raindrops falls from the sky, covering you in a wet and sticky substance.

Fear gripping your body, you stare down at your blood soaked arms and realise the clouds are raining blood...rivers of blood...
...Streams of terrified refugees push and shove each other as they flee north away from the growing storm clouds, armies gather all across the world, elven priests in white robes stained red kneel down in prayer to the Lightbearer, while trolls swarm out from the swamps like a plague upon the land, and above it all crimson red clouds rain down thunder and lightning, bringing with it death and destruction...
...Quivering and gasping uncontrollably, you stand there unable to move, when Daedalus' voice blares through your mind, "Master!" shaking you out of your stupor, the after images of what you'd seen burnt into backs of your retinas as you stare around trying to remember where you were, your breathing shallow and heart beating like a drum.
It had all felt so real. The freezing winds atop the mountain, the pounding of metal on metal, and the rancid taste of fear that seemed to permeate the very air you breathed. But none of it compared to the terrifying sound of that voice, trumpeting out across the darkness. It's voice like a beacon in the night calling all to shelter by it's fire. And despite a part of you knowing it was a vision, you had felt this powerful urge to answer the call. To let go of everything and walk into the darkness, the feeling so strong that even now, your hands still tremble from the memory.
"There are few in this world that can resist the call of the Bloodstorm, it pries upon our inner most desires and uses them against us. Magnified by the Book of Maglencloid it is a weapon of terrible power, but one that can prove to be very useful in the right hands,"said Daedalus wistfully, "Where next do you wish to go, master? The fighting in the tower has abated for now, but it will not be long before more guards come in search for you."

As though awakened to the urgency of your situation, you try to think what next to do, only to see flashes of Lorna and Gorrack's running through the forest, but they would need to take care of themselves for the moment.
Mouth tightening, you scan the corridor hoping for some sign or guidance from the gods, when you feel something in your bones.
Whirling about, you look behind you and see nothing, but that feeling of dread only grows stronger inside of you, until finally unable to take it, you begin to run.

Project Pegasus: An Airplane Crashed into Me So I've Been Reincarnated as a Skeleton
“Where am I?” The place seemed familiar yet my head ached each time I tried to remember it. “This place is kinda creepy.” Wait, what happened to the school? “There should be a plane crash around here somewhere. Also, why am I still alive?” Or maybe... This is the afterlife? “Wait. Nevermind that.” “How in the world could a plane even crash on me like that?” As I stood, I got a glimpse of my right hand touching the ground. “AHHHHHHHHH---!!!” There was no flesh. “Sh*t. What is this?! Why are my hands just bones?! Am I decomposing?! It doesn’t seem to hurt though.” Just like normal, I could feel my heart beating faster, however, as I touched my chest, I felt my fingers sliding through the intervals of my ribs; my heart was gone. “Aaaaah!” As I panicked, I heard a girl’s voice behind me. “Ahm... Suddenly, something touched my right shoulder. My body froze. Slowly, I looked at it; I saw a hand wrapped in white bandage.

The Shadow That Preludes Death (The Favoured)
Magic and fantastical beasts run wild on the countless worlds of the Fabric. Deities take an active interest in the Fabric. The Favoured, immortal mages of immense power vie for territory and power in the Fabric. Umbra a naive ward of the Duke is almost Grown and that means she will need to take an apprenticeship. The issue is she isn't good at anything, but she catches the eye of a master of magic, he thinks she might be one of the fabled Protectors the ones that would save them from the coming destruction. But Umbra isn't the hero everyone wants her to be. Updates will at least one chapter every two days. Notable Location Poliagoras. Poliagoras is the most important world in the Fabric partly due to it being the centre of everything both literally and metaphorically. Trade, commerce, travel, and politics are all conducted primarily on Poliagoras, it has the biggest city in the fabric stretching to cover almost the entire world. It also holds all the known Great portals in the Fabric which are the only way to travel to other worlds. Even without these things, Poliagoras would still be the most important world in the Fabric as it is home to the largest population of Favoured. They were mages chosen by the Deities and given the potential to become more than mortal. I cannot overstate how appreciated constructive criticism is. This is the first story I have written of my own volition so even a small comment on how I could improve would be great. The current title is most definitely a working one. I know it isn't great.

Apostasy - The Lost History of Goge Vandire (A Warhammer 40,000 fan fiction)
DISCLAIMER: The characters in this story are inspired by the background of the Warhammer 40,000 intellectual property that belongs to Games Workshop Ltd. This is fan fiction, and no challenge to their ownership rights is intended. Goge Vandire is a name written in to the annals of Imperial history in blood. Often literally. No single mortal has commanded authority on the scale at which he exercised it at his height. His name is as synonymous with unspeakable evil as that of the Warmaster, Horus himself. And yet he was just a man. Where did such a man come from? What drove him to the steps he took to secure power to himself and, once he had it, how did he come to misuse it so grievously? I have scoured the records - many of them once thought lost or placed under the unbreakable seal of the Inquisition - to uncover his forgotten story, piecing together his childhood, his apprenticeship, his rise to power and his descent into madness and death. It is not the story you might expect...
