Daedalus his face drawn with exhaustion, slumped down beside you, both of his arms blackened with dozens of scorch marks upon his flesh. The wizened orc letting out a light chuckle as he stood back up with a smile on his lips. "Ahhh how I've missed the rush of battle and thrill of danger.
"I know you have many questions my friend but we will have to forego them for now, Tyrene has grown considerably more powerful than the last time we've met, and it won't be long before she returns you to the flesh. Be sure tell her nothing. She may torture you for awhile but she'll soon grow tired of it and leave you to her underlings which is when you should strike."The flesh on his arms gradually began return to their odd shade of red, his skin knitting itself back up.
And while a part of you is amazed at seeing Daedalus and finding out he was an orc of all things, you are more annoyed by the fact that he has stopped calling you master. After all, you'd becoming used to hearing it from him and it did have a certain ring to you. Plus it also makes you wonder what it could mean for the future of your partnership? But instead of saying what was on your mind, you ask, "How is it you are here with me?"
Daedalus grinned. "We are bonded you and I, both in spirit and body. Still it seems quite remarkable that I would retain my body here of all places. Not that there is anything wrong with your mind per say but it usually takes a degree of skill to enter another person's mind and we've done it effortlessly as though we were joined for a millennia. I believe this bond will serve us well, very well indeed." And for a brief second you could have sworn you'd seen a gleam of hunger flash across his face that instantly makes you wary.

Brows furrowed, you open your mouth to ask him more about the bond when you notice the air shimmer, the fabric of darkness becoming almost tangible like spilled oil before slowly dissipating away with Daedalus crying out something to you before the orc fluctuates and vanishes completely.
Then as suddenly as it all began you are back in the cold dark room with the mage staring daggers down at you, her eyes filled with fury as she shrieked, "How did you break free?! Tell me?! Who helped you?!"
But whatever you were about to say is lost in a wave of agony as fiery hot acid courses through your veins causing you to jerk back and forth against the stone chair. Drool dribbling out from between your lips, and corroded black blood trickling out from your skin, the fire burning deep within you. (-40 Health points.)
Teeth clenched, you try to not scream but it was all you could do to keep your mouth shut and when she saw that was not enough, a flame whip materialised in her hands, forcing you to groan in despair as she lashed it against your skin, each time asking you a different question before cracking the whip forward to melt your flesh, the sizzling hot flames biting deep. "I know you had help?! Who was it?! Where are your friends?! Where are they hiding?!"
3. Do you trust in Daedalus' plan and wait for an opportunity to arrive?
You dislike the idea of trusting Daedalus with your life but what other choices did you have.
For hours you do your best to endure the pain. Blow after blow raining down on you, shredding you apart, laying you open with gaping wounds that would scar you for life, the sheer agony causing you to blank in and out of consciences as you try your best to stay awake, her questions continuing one after another with seemingly no end in sight.

And just when you think you can take no more, she stops her attacks, growls something at you in a language you can't understand and storms out of the room in a huff, leaving you alone with the ogrekan.
You try to speak to him but all that comes out from your mouth is a gush of blood, the pain so excruciating, you begin to wonder if this was the end for you.

Blacking out from the sheer agony, you awaken to find yourself hanging upside down from a wall, the blood from your own wounds trickling down your back and sides.
Looking around, you realise that you've been brought to another dungeon, filled with cages hanging from the ceiling. The moaning and groaning of your fellow prisoners, barely registering upon your numb mind.
Groaning in pain, you somehow find the strength to bend forward and grab hold of the chains, snapping free a blood stained fingernail to use as a picklock. The ground rushing up as you slam into the stone floor, almost knocking yourself out once more.
Lightheaded and extremely weak, you crawl towards the door, find the key hanging from a hook nearby and quickly exit the room ignoring the cries for help.

Star wars: Selfish virtue.
''He's broken, are you sure this is a good idea?'' ''It's gonna be alright, it'll become a different timeline. I will supply the power for it myself, won't cost you anything and you can watch it play out with me.'' ''If you're sure dear, the last time we did this it didn't turn out so good for the world though.'' ''It's gonna be fine! ...Probably.'' A man yanked out of our world is put into another one on the whims of beings out of his comprehension or knowledge. Journey with him as he tries for the things that were ever out of his reach in his last life, enjoyment, fulfillment, happiness... and maybe even love. This is my first time writing anything. I'll be taking it as a learning experience, though obviously, I'd hope that people enjoy it. When you find something to criticize, and you will. I at least hope you'll word it in a constructive way so I could remedy and/or learn from it. Enjoy.

The Blood Queen
The rain fell from the sky with ferocity and smashed into the pavement filling the air with the sound of a stampede. The noise was deafening as I struggled to stand up. The blood from my wound was covering the ground beneath me and I covered it with my hand as I pushed off the pavement. On my feet now I struggled to step towards the grass. Through the howling wind and pounding raindrops I could hear what sounded like a chant, calling me and drawing me towards the cliffs edge. "Vienna, my Queen, my blood Queen" I started to move my feet faster until I could run towards the edge. Only when I was at the edge did I turn and look back one last time at the castle behind me. I could see him standing on the balcony, he was screaming my name. I could just hear it over the rain. I unclipped my red cape and whispered goodbye to him. As he jumped off the balcony to run towards me I leaned backwards and let my body fall with the rushing water to the river far down below. I carried her whispers with me to the dark edge until they vanished.
