《Decide Your Fate Games - R.Malak》Finger or Toe

How to Play:
The rules are fairly simple. You have twenty chances to amass as much gold as you can by choosing the correct choice. Each time you fail to guess correctly you lose gold. You can play all twenty choices or choose to leave at any time.
Post your scores up and lets see who is the King of Finger and Toe!
Story (Not part of the main storyline.)
Deciding to return home, you find a mage in the City and pay her to teleport you back to the Bordertown of Harthorn.
Game
Careful to avoid bumping into anyone, you walk along the run down street that looks more like a dingy alleyway paved with cracked grey stones and pass dozens of hardened mercenaries, vagabonds and ill looking types that stare at you distrustfully, their fingers lightly caressing their weapons. Blood stains, dirt and dents still in their cheap armour.
Familiar with these psychotic types that loved to kill, you try your best to keep your distance from them, when you come across a crowd of mercenaries gambling in one of the side streets, playing finger or toe. A brutal game where the player had to choose between losing a finger or a toe then roll the dice to see if they guessed correctly. If they guessed wrong they would lose the appendage they had chosen and if they guessed correctly they would take everyone’s gold. A deadly game, but well worth the gold if you won.
Curious to see who was playing, you walk over to watch the current game in session. The unwashed stench of those with you in the alleyway clogging your nostrils as you push your way forward through the crowd of onlookers, who glower at you angrily as you bump into a few of them.
Reaching the inner circle, you watch with great interest as an obese orc with flabby green skin, long black hair and flecks of grey in his beard gets down on one knee to shake a cup. Already missing two fingers and a toe, it seemed the orc was determined to win back some of his gold that he had obviously lost. Although if his luck was already this bad, you don’t think it really matters if he won or lost.
The orc continues to rattle the cup for awhile annoying the spectators around you who hurl abuse at the orc to hurry the up, before releasing the dice onto the ground. The white finger bone bouncing along the pavements, before coming to a standstill to reveal a small black image of a toe imprinted on the bone.
The orc growls angrily in disgust, tossing the cup at the pavement to the cheers of the onlookers and tries to leave the circle, when the players around you surge forward to grab him and thrust him into the ground, where a barrel chested dwarf happily lops off one of his fingers to squirt blood up into the air to delight and amusement of the crowd.
Releasing the unlucky orc from the ground, the obese warrior stumbles away spouting curses to anyone that would listen to the sound of laughter.
The sturdy dwarf turns to the crowd of onlookers and smiles broadly, his blue eyes twinkling with untold mirth. “Who ‘ere is up fer a game of fingers or toes?!”
Liking your odds, you raise your hand up. “I’ll give it a go.”
The grimy looking dwarf with blood splatters on his clothes and spots of blood in his beard, grins up at you. “Great! Ye know the rules of the game?”

You nod your head in reply, shoving your way in through the crowd. You grab the cup from the dwarf and hear the rattle of the bone inside.

Spoiler: Spoiler
Nerves on edge, you kneel down on the cold stones and shout loudly for all to hear. “I pick finger!” You then shake the cup in your hand aggressively, your heartbeat thundering like a drum, your palms sweating so heavily you feel the cup become slippery in your fingers and toss the dice out onto the ground. With bated breath you watch as the bone bounces and rolls across the surface of the pavement, before wedging itself in a crevice to show the image of a finger.
Awash in a wave of relief, you release the air you’d been holding inside your chest and smile up at the dwarf, who grudgingly hands you a pouch filled with gold. “Well done lad, well done. Would yah like ta go again?”

Heart sinking in your chest, you hear a deafening roar of excitement and see the dwarf happily pulling out his axe.
Gritting your teeth in bitter disappointment, you take off your boot and push your foot forward.
The dwarf his eyes glittering with glee, carefully lines up his axe and brings it crashing down to separate your smallest toe from the rest of your foot. Causing you to hiss in pain, blood spraying out between your fingers as you quickly grip your wound, tear off a piece of your clothing and it tie on around the cut to stop the bleeding to the sounds of the cheering crowd.
Toe throbbing abominably like someone has stepped on your foot repeatedly, you hurriedly thrust your feet back into your boot and with the help of the smiling dwarf you stand back up. “Unlucky lad, unlucky. Would yah like ta go again?”

Spoiler: Spoiler
You kneel back down on the cold stones and shout loudly for all to hear. “I pick finger!” You then shake the cup in your hand aggressively, your heartbeat thundering like a drum, your palms sweating so heavily you feel the cup become slippery in your fingers and toss the dice out onto the ground. With bated breath you watch as the bone bounces and rolls across the surface of the pavement, before wedging itself in a crevice to show the image of a toe.
The dwarf brings it crashing down to separate your finger from the rest of your hand. Blood spraying out between your fingers as you quickly grip your wound.
“Unlucky lad, unlucky. Would yah like ta go again?”
(You've lost 50 gold pieces.)

You shake your head, your hands still trembling. “No, I think not, maybe another time.”
The dwarf’s blue eyes flash briefly with disappointment, before shrugging his shoulders and turning back to the crowd of onlookers. “Who ‘ere is up fer a game of finger or bone?!”
Standing back up, pouch firmly in your grasp, you struggle your way back out through the mass of spectators, who snarl and push at you, until you’re free.
