《Decide Your Fate Games - R.Malak》The Seven Forms of Battle
Advertisement
"There are many who would call themselves warriors, but that is nothing but a lie. Warriors are born on the battlefield, and it is only through trial and struggle that they become what they are."
Words of the First Honor Blade Gralmond, master of the sword, and faithful follower of the Lightbearer. May the suns shine down upon him.
In the history books, it is written that it was the Lightbearer who first taught the races of Coroleya the Seven Forms of Battle. But that is not wholly true. While he did teach those who would learn the ways of war, the origins of the Seven Forms it comes from a much darker place.
For you see before there was a Lightbearer, and before there were demons, there was she. The mother of the world, and bringer of all life. It is from her that the world came to know the true carnage of war, and through her that the first warriors of Coroleya were born. She is the guiding rage, fury, and hatred that burns within our breasts, and the seed of all destruction.

The Martyrs: the Generation that Burns
“Perhaps we are indeed the main characters of the story, but who is to say we are not the Galactic Republic in the prequel --- No matter how many victories we seize or how many foes we slay, our fate has been sealed from the very beginning.” --- KR043. When a portal to another world was created in the deserts of Nevada, the United States, humanity was faced with a choice. Neglect it, and pray nothing happens. Or confront it, and in doing so, pay a dear cost. Earth chose the latter, and thus, came the heroic tales of the Phasewalker Corps. And thus, came the numberless skirmishes, battles, and wars that would ravage across Humanity's enemies. And thus, came the warcry that would soon echo through countless worlds. "For Earth! For Humanity! For...Victory!" This is the story of the generation that burns. Participant in the Royal Road Writathon Challenge. The cover is custom created on the Webnovel website.

Nobody's Way
Foreign Thorn: Book 1 For eight centuries, the people of Isla have wanted for nothing. The Creator, Maere, uses Her power not only to keep them healthy and fed, but also to map the direction of each person's future Path - their vocation, role in society, and even the partner they'll spend their life with. In a world where infighting once threatened the very survival of humankind, the old texts say that Maere personally stepped in to help guide Her creations to harmony. All is not well among the people of the northern lands, however, as Jian discovers when she receives her own long-awaited Path. The Creator has chosen to favour some towns, but not others, leading to anarchy and unrest in the east, and fierce distrust between the neighbours who enjoy Her protection and those who don't. After many nights of disturbing premonitions, visions of a face uncannily familiar to her, and a voice beckoning her to "Homeland," Jian decides she needs to find answers for herself. She hires Madrigal, a surly young traveller hailing from an "unblessed" village, to take her to the southern lands. The swordsman is on the run from something, or someone, but Jian has no choice but to trust him. When the two leave the safety of the familiar and meet Quinn, a mysterious boy who seems to know more about Jian than she does about herself, it becomes clear that there are forces besides the old magics, forces completely unknown to the people of Isla, in play. Madrigal and Jian aren't sure if Quinn can be trusted, but they're certain he knows more than he's letting on...
