《Refining the Mountains and Rivers》Chapter 1062 – Abyssal Titan

Qin Yu took a deep breath, turned around, and left. Old Fox and Shadowless Demon had already been anxiously waiting outside the courtyard for a long time. Although they had made a guess, with every moment that Qin Yu didn’t make a move, they couldn’t feel at ease.
After all, this was a matter that concerned their life and death. Whether someone was a Demon Commander or not, no one would be spared.
“Mister!” Old Fox and Shadowless Demon bowed.
Qin Yu nodded. “I will be leaving the city for a trip. I’ll leave everything here to you. If there is an accident...then bring Feature away. She will give you an unexpected harvest.”
As he finished speaking, demonic energy surged around him, engulfing his figure. In the next moment, he vanished from sight.
The complexions of Old Fox and Shadowless Demon changed. Just what was Liu Huo’s intent? He actually gave off a feeling as if he wanted them to handle his post-death arrangements.
Could it be that another accident had occurred in the beast tide? Or was there another danger they hadn’t realized?
Otherwise, with mister’s strength and status, why would he say such words…after all, with his status as an Abyss Walker, simply scolding the abyssal demon dragon to leave was possible.
As all sorts of thoughts raced in their minds and their faces darkened with uncertainty, the courtyard doors were pushed open from within.
Feature stepped out and looked at the direction Qin Yu left in. Her lips curved up in a smile, “You brat, at least you still have a bit of conscience…” She looked up at Old Fox and Shadowless Demon. Restraining her expression she said, “Come in.”
For some reason, when Feature’s smile disappeared, a bit of imperceptible fear appeared within Old Fox and Shadowless Demon’s eyes.
As expected, if she could follow beside Liu Huo and be so valued by him, how could she be an ordinary demon girl?
This Miss Feature must be far more extraordinary than they imagined. However, Liu Huo just left, so why was she looking for them?
As all sorts of ideas raced through their mind, Old Fox and Shadowless Demon respectfully nodded and followed her into the courtyard. The doors closed behind them.
…
Outside Great Deer City, Qin Yu’s figure appeared above the natural canyon that flickered with demonic energy.
His existence immediately attracted the attention of countless demon beasts. Their eyes that were flooded with cruelty and slaughter instantly locked onto him.
Hou –
Hou –
Two giant abyssal demon wolves roared and shot into the air using their formidable bodies. Like bolts of lightning, they bit at Qin Yu.
These demon beasts had completely lost their minds and were submerged in the atmosphere of the beast tide. They had no ability to think and only followed their instincts.
They could feel Qin Yu’s vitality. If they could just eat him, they could surely enhance their strength.
So the two abyssal demon wolves attacked. It was this simple.
But at this time as they were soaring through the air, the two threatening abyssal demon wolves yelped in fear and panic.
It was like without warning, they were exposed to their natural enemy. Without hesitation, the two abyssal demon wolves suddenly stopped, turning their head as they tried to flee.
But it was too late!
Bang –
Bang –
Like two water balloons that were gripped too hard, the abyssal demon wolves blew apart. Countless pieces of bone and meat splattered in all directions, flooding the air with the stench of fresh blood.
If this was usual times, the corpses of these demon beasts would have been seized by the beast tide, becoming their food. This was because swallowing the flesh and blood of other demon beasts could also increase their strength.
But at this time, all the demon beasts in the surrounding region felt an extremely terrifying aura. Not only did they not approach but they even turned and fled in horror.
It was like a terrifying existence had appeared above the canyon.
Qin Yu was expressionless. He looked into the distance, his robes surging around him. A boundless aura broke free from his body, compressing everything around him like a massive invisible grinding pan.
Bang –
Bang –
Bang –
The panic-stricken demon beasts started to explode one after another. Flesh and blood filled the air like an endless rain! But what a pity, Qin Yu wasn’t paying any attention to these dead demon beasts.
They had given their lives and their bodies were crushed into goo. But, their killer didn’t even cast them a glance. This was the sorrow of the weak.
In Qin Yu’s eyes, there was only that terrifying vortex of demonic energy in the distance.
Its upper end was huge and it continuously shrank as it descended, just like a funnel. One could clearly hear the roaring sounds of endless abyssal demonic energy rolling and tumbling.
It was the abyssal demon dragon. It truly was worthy of being the favored pet of the abyss; it could actually mobilize such an astonishing amount of abyssal energy to heal itself.
But the good news was that its wounds were severe and even now it hadn’t fully healed.
Qin Yu narrowed his eyes. He appeared here and killed a massive number of demon beasts. The abyssal demon dragon must have sensed him.
As this thought appeared, a loud roar rumbled through the air like peals of thunder.
Then, that spinning funnel of demonic energy began to rapidly move, causing the surrounding demonic energy to howl even louder.
This abyssal demon dragon was indeed a terrifying creature. Just from being locked onto by its eyes, Qin Yu could feel invisible chains squeezing in on him from all directions.
But what Qin Yu didn’t know was that when the abyssal demon dragon saw him, its shock was even greater than his.
This was an intense premonition that it couldn’t suppress. It could feel that as long as it killed this demon, it would receive a reward from the abyss.
As an abyssal demon dragon, it was inherently born with the attention of the abyss’ will. It could naturally tell this was not an illusion but a formidable will that came down to supervise it.

The only thing that could achieve this was the supreme will of the abyss!
Hou –
The abyssal demon dragon roared into the skies, its eyes burning with greed. Killing intent erupted.
No matter what price it had to pay, it had to kill this demon!
Qin Yu’s lips twitched and his heart sank. After the abyssal demon dragon saw him, he could sense the changes that occurred in its aura in a short period of time.
Sure enough, the reason that this abyssal demon dragon appeared at Great Deer City was because it was chasing after him and Feature!
In other words, the will of the abyss had really locked onto them. Feature hadn’t been lying.
Although he already expected this, once he confirmed it he still felt his heart chill.
But before he could think further, the abyssal demon dragon had already moved. It viciously swung its tail, as if a mountain was falling horizontally.
His heart shrank. Without any need to be stimulated, the three Demon Commander level bloodlines within his body erupted like a volcano.
Piki paka –
Within his body, bones and flesh crackled and rumbled. The sounds linked up together as his body doubled in size.
Rumble rumble –
Endless abyssal energy gathered towards him from nothing. It converged above his head, forming the phantom of a giant.
A vast aura that seemed to come from ancient times emanated from the giant phantom. It seemed to cross space and time, passing through the endless river of years to arrive here with an earthshaking roar.
At this moment, the abyssal demon dragon’s body stiffened. Its ice-cold eyes that were flooded with killing intent fiercely contracted and revealed fear.
It was as if the aura of this giant phantom possessed an aura that could suppress it!
Bang –
With a loud crash, Qin Yu’s entire body was sent flying away. The bones of his arms broke but regenerated in the next moment.
By combusting the bloodlines of three Demon Commander level bloodlines, they released a strength that made him nearly immortal and inextinguishable until they burned out.
Qin Yu steadied himself. He had a much clearer cognition of the abyssal demon dragon’s strength. No wonder the hunting raid had failed. This demon beast’s strength was incomparably terrifying.
And this was just a single injured abyssal demon dragon that had yet to grow up. If it grew up and was in its peak condition, any casual strike would have reduced him to powder.
He took a deep breath and composed himself. Then, he took out a jar. With a bit of strength he crushed it in his hands and swallowed the demon medicine from inside.
This was the ultra-strengthened version of the super mighty invincibility pill. It reeked of blood in his mouth but didn’t irritate his senses. Rather, it was somewhat fragrant. This caused Qin Yu to become suspicious. After entering a demon-state, did his taste also become abnormal?
Then, this slightly funny and boring thought was crushed apart by a violent force and completely expelled from Qin Yu’s mind.
His limbs and bones, every inch of his flesh and blood roared, releasing infinite strength. In this state, Qin Yu even felt that this abyssal demon dragon in front of him wasn’t anything at all.
As if he could strangle it with just one hand!
But what a pity, this was clearly just a mental illusion caused by the tremendous increase of his strength impacting his mind.
However, when Qin Yu left Great Deer City to fight the abyssal demon dragon, this wasn’t what he was truly relying on. To be more accurate, the three combusting Demon Commander level demon seed bloodlines and this ultra-strengthened super mighty invincibility pill were all a foundation laid to draw out his true weapon.
Inside his chest, the black heart of the abyss began to rapidly beat. A blazing hot strength started to flow out.
It was like magma flowing through Qin Yu’s blood vessels, incinerating everything it passed by.
“Ahh!” He roared up into the air, his fierce cries of pain echoing in the skies and nearly crushing his will.
Flesh and blood roared. An incomparable hunger grew within him, as if he had been imprisoned for countless years and had just been freed, and now he wanted to eat the world. And this food was the endless abyssal energy that flooded the abyss world and bred the countless abyssal beings here.
Rumble rumble –
A giant vortex instantly formed. Then, a second funnel appeared between the heavens and earth. It was gigantic. Compared to the vortex of abyssal energy above the abyssal demon dragon’s head, it was over twice as large!
A sea-like amount of abyssal energy poured into Qin Yu’s body. He crazily grew. His body was like a balloon that inflated at an astonishing speed.
100 feet…500 feet…1000 feet…3000 feet…10,000 feet…20,000 feet…
Finally, only when he neared 30,000 feet in height did he stop growing.
He was like a terrifying giant that supported the heavens. The giant phantom within the vortex of abyssal energy had become incomparably solid and real.
It looked down at Qin Yu. With a roar, it melted into his body like a shadow.
Hu –
After transforming into a 30,000 foot tall giant, Qin Yu opened his eyes. Lightning sizzled in his pupils.
A wild strength surged in his body. It was so terrifying that as long as it burst out from anywhere, it would be capable of destroying mountains and severing rivers!
This was not a simple description nor was it an exaggeration. Rather, it truly possessed such horrifying might. When Qin Yu looked at the abyssal demon dragon, there was no dread in his heart.
In fact, he could even sense his opponent’s fear.
And fear was normal…Qin Yu licked his dry lips, the desire to eat and devour coursing through him.
This was because the moment a member of the Abyssal Titan Clan was born, it took the abyssal demon dragon as food!
When the giant phantom above his head fused into his body, he naturally learnt everything…the sleeping bloodline that Feature spoke of was that of the abyssal titan.
Of course, it also had another name – that was the Ancient race bloodline!

Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
