《Reaper of The Wizarding World》The Dorms

After we were all mostly done eating, except Ron, we begin talking. I am introduced to a few other Gryffindor kids. Seamus Finnigan, a really annoying kid who liked to talk a lot, especially on subjects he didn't know much about. Dean Thomas, a nice guy who always seemed to have a smile on his face. Katie Bell, a pretty girl with dark brown hair and chestnut eyes, she was a year older than us.
I also got to meet my first ghost, he is called nearly headless Nick but his real name is Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington.
I notice Harry is absentmindedly staring at Snape. He turns to Percy "Hey, who is that Teacher talking to Professor Quirrell?"
"Ah, that's Professor Snape, the head of Slytherin and the potions professor. Be careful in his class, he is pretty harsh on the Gryffindors. He is after Quirrell's job and everyone knows it, knows a lot about the Dark Arts, Snape." I nod my head in agreement having known Snape in my memories.
Harry nods in response while staring at Snape. I nudge his shoulder "I'm sure he'll have a field day with you." I say with a teasing grin.
"Shut it" He playfully shoves my shoulder making me laugh.
"Ahern -- just a few more words now that we are all fed and watered. I have a few start-of-term notices to give you.
"First years should note that the forest on the grounds is forbidden to all students. And a few of our older students would do well to remember that as well." Dumbledore's twinkling eyes flashed in the direction of the Weasley twins. They both chuckled and gave each other high-fives, proud to be singled out.
"I have also been asked by Mr. Filch, the caretaker, to remind you all that no magic should be used between classes in the corridors. Quidditch trials will be held in the second week of the term. Anyone interested in playing for their house teams should contact Madam Hooch."

"And lastly, I must tell you that this year, the third-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a very... painful death."
I hear Harry laugh a little next to me I turn to him and give a 'Really?' look.
"What? He's kidding, right? They wouldn't leave something dangerous in a school for kids, would they?" He looks confused and a bit scared.
"Harry we are in the wizarding world, not the Muggle world. Anything and everything can be dangerous." I lean toward him a little and whisper. "What if I told you that the scarf around my neck could kill you anytime you wanted?" As I say this I feel Sin tap my shoulder as if to confirm he could indeed do it.
Harry scoots away a little "You are kidding right?" I just give him a mysterious smile.
Dumbledore's voice cuts in "Alright now before we turn in let us sing the schools song." with a wave of his wand and a golden string seemed to come out of it and form words hovering in the air. Words to the song I presume…
"Hogwarts, Hogwarts,
Hoggy Warty Hogwarts,
Teach us something please,
Whether we be old and bald
Or young with scabby knees,
Our heads could do with filling
With some interesting stuff,
For now they're bare and full of air,
Dead flies and bits of fluff,
So teach us things worth knowing,
Bring back what we've forgot,
just do your best,
we'll do the rest,
And learn until our brains all rot.
Most of us finish the song but Fred and George were standing on the table singing very slowly with broad arm motions as if singing Opera. Dumbledore smiled at them as the golden words above changed to match their tune. When they finally finished the entire hall burst into cheers Dumbledore being the obvious loudest.

I believe this has now become my most hated song, ever. It used to be 'Fly me to the moon' since my father loved it so much. But now I believe this one has taken the cake, it's awful.
"Ah, music, true magic. Alright now off with you, it is now bedtime." I roll my eyes at Dumbledore's words. I could not disagree more.
Percy stands up and calls out "Alright, first years follow me back to the dorm rooms." as he finishes speaking an empty goblet falls on his head seemingly coming out of nowhere.
"PEEVES!" Percy yells looking up. "Do you want me to tell the Bloody Baron about your antics again?" With his words a ghost appears out of nowhere.
"No, no, it's fine my hand just slipped" he gave a smile and flew off. He was an average looking man maybe mid 30's with rat nest hair. For some reason he seems less... eatable? than the ghost from earlier.
Percy turns back to the group of first years that are staring "Peeves, he is a poltergeist, a mischievous one at that. If he gets too out of hand, go tell Bloody Baron, he enjoys sorting him out."
"Alright now follow me" we follow him out of the Great Hall and up the stairs. Up the stairs is a long corridor with many different exits, we go in the very first one which opens up to a sprawling maze of marble staircases.
Each staircase leads to a platform and most of the platforms have an exit, as we are walking up the first it shifts and starts moving on its own directing itself to a different platform on the other side of the same floor.
"Ah, rotten luck we'll have to get on the next one to the left instead." he leads us down a flight to our left and back up one on the far right, I was honestly starting to get confused. Eventually, at the seventh floor, we got to an exit with a short corridor that has a large portrait at the end of it.
Percy approaches the painting. The woman in the portrait starts to move and looks at Percy. "Password?" she asks
"Caput Draconis," as he finished speaking the painting swung open like a door revealing an entrance.
As I step in it opens into a tall room with a sofa, 3 big chairs, a desk, and a fireplace in the middle.
Percy points to the door on the other side of the room, "Boys dorms are up and to the left, girls are up and to the right. You will find your stuff has already been put in your bed."
…
On my bed was all of my stuff mostly already sorted out. Shy was in his cage on my bed, he makes a small screech as he sees me. I open his cage and let him fly around a bit, but when I let him out he immediately perched himself on the tallest wardrobe in the room looking down at all the kids moving in.
My bed was placed between Dean and Ron, two down from Harry and across from Neville. Since we were all really tired we decided to turn in for the night, mainly because we had class in the morning, would be a shame to be late on the first day.
