Qin Yu looked at Old Fox who was standing not too far away with a stunned expression. Shadowless Demon was standing beside him with a similar confused look.

“Mister, who is this woman?” Old Fox cautiously asked.

Qin Yu’s heart twitched. If you ask me, who am I supposed to ask? This person suddenly fell out of nowhere and almost crashed into my head.

Could it really be that he was suffering a bout of bad luck recently? First he had been inexplicably dragged into the abyss, then he had to carry this deadweight known as Feature, and now he was being chased down by the will of the abyss…

However, this woman did look somewhat familiar.

Qin Yu thought for a moment and bent down, brushing away her hair. A sweet and beautiful face entered his vision and he couldn’t help but narrow his eyes.

He really did know her!

The woman who fell down from the skies and nearly crashed into his head was the mysterious Mian Ya he had met not long after he entered the abyss.

She left and returned, even wanting to use the crystallized heart of an Abyssal King which had lost its source to complete a transaction with him.

Why was this woman here? And from the looks of things, she seemed to have suffered a heavy injury.

Puff –

There was a dull sound behind him. Qin Yu abruptly turned around and saw Feature fall to the ground.

Qin Yu’s complexion changed. He picked up Mian Ya and entered the courtyard.

Pa –

The courtyard doors closed, blocking all peering eyes outside.

Bringing Mian Ya inside was only a subconscious action. He examined her. Her injuries were heavy but she wouldn’t die for now. Then, he tossed her to the side.

Rather, it was Feature’s state that was bad. She was unconscious and her face was pale.

Her aura was stable and she didn’t seem to be in danger. Qin Yu couldn’t find anything wrong with her either.

As if she was sleeping.

But it was clear that Feature wasn’t sleeping. Problems like this were where he couldn’t figure out what the problem actually was were truly troublesome.

Beyond Qin Yu’s expectations, the unconscious Feature only took two hours to wake up.

When she saw Qin Yu she directly asked, “Where is the beautiful young woman who just fell from space?”

Qin Yu sneered, “I think you should care more about yourself first.”

“Stop talking nonsense!” Feature glared at him. “I could see the hope of survival in that little beauty’s body. Do you want to live or not?”

Qin Yu turned and walked away, “I’ll bring her over right now!”

Even though he didn’t know what this hope that Feature spoke of represented.

But since this was the first time that she mentioned the possibility of living, Qin Yu naturally wouldn’t belittle her.

The unconscious Mian Ya was brought in front of Feature. The demon woman’s complexion was pale, and her condition was even worse than before.

She had originally received an extremely heavy injury and barely managed to flee to Great Deer City. She was now a lamp without oil.

Qin Yu picked her up. But all he did was pick her up. He didn’t apply any treatment at all. She was lucky that she survived until now.

Feature let out a breath. She wickedly glared at Qin Yu and said, “It’s fortunate that she hasn’t died yet, otherwise things really would be troublesome. What are you doing? Hurry up and save her!”

Qin Yu knew how to save a human, but he had no idea how to start saving a demon.

“You can think what you want.” Qin Yu waved his hand, “But none of that matters. What matters is what I am about to ask you. You had better answer truthfully, otherwise I will have you regret the fact that you are still alive.”

It was a threat, a stark naked threat that wasn’t covered up at all.

Mian Ya was stunned, as if she hadn’t thought Qin Yu would say such words. After a brief silence she said, “Rest assured, I will do my best to answer your questions.”

“Good.” Qin Yu said without expression. “How were you wounded?”

Mian Ya said, “It was from the abyssal demon dragon outside the city.” As she spoke, a trace of fear appeared in her eyes. She was clearly recalling the horror of the abyssal demon dragon.

Mian Ya never imagined it would be so formidable. Even while it was severely wounded, her sneak attack had mostly failed.

Qin Yu narrowed his eyes, “Why do you want to kill the abyssal demon dragon? Don’t tell me you wanted to be the dragon-slaying heroine.”

Mian Ya fell silent.

Qin Yu coldly sneered, “You don’t want me to repeat what I just said.”

According to Mian Ya’s one-sided statement, the nine-tailed demon fox lineage had the natural ability to confuse and deceive the minds of others and also possessed the ability of endless transformation. Because of this, they were envied. Several other formidable royal families joined forces and after a catastrophe, almost their entire tribe was slaughtered.

In that catastrophe, the most precious treasure of the Nine-tailed Demon Fox Clan, the Thousand Mirage Demon Mirror, was lost and never appeared in the abyss again.

Today, the bloodline of the Nine-tailed Demon Fox Clan only existed in a few cats and kittens here and there, and Mian Ya was already one of the best of them.

In order to rally the Nine-tailed Demon Fox Clan, she changed her appearance and ventured through the various layers of the abyss, all to seek the whereabouts of the Thousand Mirage Demon Mirror.

Some time ago, Mian Ya finally found a clue. She locked onto the three Demon Commander level demon beasts in the beast tide.

So she waited until City Lord Blackpool was killed and Black Astral was unconscious from his wounds. With both sides injured, she seized this chance to try and kill the abyssal demon dragon and retake the Thousand Mirage Demon Mirror.

The final outcome was that she had been severely wounded, fleeing to Great Deer City where she fell into Qin Yu’s hands.

Of course, this was the entire process, but the specific and minute details were a bit embarrassing.

For instance, when Mian Ya’s body transformation was undone and she was restored to her appearance as a nine-tailed demon fox, she was left completely naked. According to her explanation, this was a requirement that nine-tailed demon foxes needed to fulfill before they changed their appearance so that they weren’t restricted.

As she spoke, her face flushed red and her body gently shivered. Her nine soft and thick tails tried to hide her sensitive spots.

It was clear that she wasn’t as calm as she appeared on the outside.

But when Mian Ya tried to use her tails to hide her body, she had no idea just how captivating this partially exposed image was.

Qin Yu had recently suffered many devastating assaults from Feature and believed he had a strong resistance, but even then he couldn’t help but gulp several times. He thought that this nine-tailed demon fox woman’s ability to entice was far greater than the fox woman’s.

Mian Ya looked at Qin Yu with surprise, as if she never thought he wouldn’t know about this matter. In other words, it wasn’t that she had exposed something and was being interrogated, but he had temporarily come up with a plan or there were some other secrets involved.

But no matter what the reason was, at least this gave Mian Ya another ray of hope. She took a breath and said, “If you can help me retrieve the Thousand Mirage Demon Mirror, my Nine-tailed Demon Fox Clan is willing to establish an abyssal blood agreement with you and recognize you as master.
