Taylor lights the joint and takes a deep inhale. He was lying on the snow, his shirt and shorts becoming wet against the snow heated from his body. Man, I haven't gotten high in so long… No one to blaze with anymore… He thinks with a sigh.
The weed slowly begins to hit and Taylor closes his eyes against the bright sun. Winter… What a weird place for the sun… He thinks, slowly losing himself.
What was I doing again? Oh yeah, I was fighting a war… I wonder if I'll fall this time… Fuck this weed is good… I think I'm about to fall asleep… But I still got shit to do… Never mind… It can wait till tomorrow… Those little shits probably can’t wait… But whatever… I’ll protect them another day… For now… I’m gonna pass out… Fuck this snow is nice…
Sylvie goes outside and sees Taylor laying in the snow. She raises an eyebrow before letting out a smile and raising her phone to speak. “Yeah, we’re going to take a rain check today. We’ll continue the fight tomorrow. Yeah, bye.” She says before ending the call.
Sylvie walks over and takes the joint from Taylor's hands before laying next to Taylor. She takes a deep inhale and puts it out before laying her head on Taylor’s chest and closing her eyes.
Little Johnny peaks into the backyard, looking for his mom, only to see Taylor and Sylvie laying in the snow. His eyes widen. He quickly goes to his room to grab a big blanket before going outside.
He lays down on Taylor’s other side before pulling the blanket over his mom and dad. He quickly closes his eyes and tries to rest.
The cold slowly catches up to little Johnny and he begins to shiver. But he forcefully keeps his eyes closed and tries to block the cold out. I’m staying out here whether I like it or not! He thinks with determination.

Taylor senses something and opens his eyes and sees his wife and son laying next to him. He smiles and tries not to let out a chuckle. God… Why… He thinks before ignoring the thought. Taylor releases a flame from his body. The gentle flame recognized Taylor’s family and provided heat for their bodies, allowing Johnny’s body to warm up and slowly become comfortable.
Taylor lets out a sigh but doesn’t say anything. He just closes his eyes and decides to rest.
