《Exiled Aristocrat》Chapter 14: Martha and Olga

When I first entered the forest, one of the first things I did was change my clothes.
I packed some extra clothes in my backpack.
This is one of the primary functions of the backpack I acquired from the merchant.
After all, it wouldn't be a good idea to return to the manor in clothes that were both soaked in sweat and soaked in the scent of the forest.
After finishing changing my clothes, I retrieved the second reason I needed a backpack from my backpack.
I retrieved two scabbarded daggers from my backpack. It was nearly impossible to tell it was a dagger just by looking at it because its grip on the crossguard was shaped like an intertwined trunk.
I unsheathed the two daggers from their scabbards and crossed their blades together, causing a pleasant stifling sound as the blades made contact.
"Beautiful."
The only way to tell the difference between the two daggers was to unsheathe them; the blades were different colors, one was black carbon, and the other was red sangria.
These daggers were hidden in a drawer in a closet in the secret room, which was also hidden in the library.
I immediately recognized them when I came across them.
Every official member of the clergy received one of these daggers.
The red one is known as Anaka (Descendance). They are primarily used for rituals, particularly those in which blood must be shed. The presence of a member of the clergy is required during a noble birth because the umbilical cord must be severed with this "Anaka."
And the black is referred to as Faty (Death). There was no specific use for these daggers other than human slaughtering. Despite their role as humanity's "shield," the clergy have been involved in numerous bloodsheds throughout history. If the nobility or common people caused trouble for the church, clergymen would solve the problem with these daggers.

These blades most likely belonged to the ancestor who converted the barracks into what is now known as the Rosetta Manor.
I'm not sure if this Faty has been used to murder someone, but I'm not going to give up such a beautiful dagger for a murder committed six hundred years ago.
"Right Martha ?" I said while glancing at the black one.
Yes, I did decide to rename them.
Martha is the black one, and Olga is the red one.
After all, I had brought them with me into this forest for a reason.
If there is a Goddess above, I’m sure he put these weapons there so that I would choose them.
A red thread connected me, Olga, and Martha.
It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that there were no other weapons in the armory that fit my frame.
The armory had everything from shields to greatswords, from things that could be used to protect oneself to things that could deal damage, but nothing suitable for someone under 1 meter 70.
I'm complaining, but hey, these daggers are by far cooler than any weapon in the armory.
I made a horizontal swing. A pleasant stifling sound could be heard in the air at the passage of Martha and Olga’s blades.
"Perfect," I said, smiling and nodding as I gathered my belongings and resumed my journey into the woods.
❀⊱┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄┄⊰❀
I didn't run as I progressed deeper into the forest; instead, I walked casually, first to appreciate the scenery and then to imprint the path back home in my memory.
It would be tragic if I became lost in this forest.
After about thirty minutes of walking, I arrived at a location that seemed appropriate for what I wanted to do.
This location was about 1 kilometer away from the barrier; it's a long-distance, but as long as I don't go beyond the 5 kilometers, I shouldn't run into any monsters.

However, this does not imply that I have relaxed my guard; in fact, since passing through the barrier, I have enhanced my senses.
Yes, I was able to do that as well.
As I previously stated, all one needs to do to improve the physical attributes of any part of the body is to attract the dark, foggy thing and mold it into a membrane surrounding the part one wants to improve.
Obviously, that method would not work if the goal is to improve one's senses.
I was stuck for a long time on how to improve my senses until one day, while training to keep the fog in a fixed shape, I noticed my sense of hearing was strangely extremely sensitive.
All I had to do to improve my sense of smell and hearing was to create a zone inside that was free of fog.
This zone is known as the Aina expansion.
By the way, I could create a 15-meter radius around myself.
As a result, if a monster was spying on me, I would notice him right away.
as long as he stays within 15 meters.
Hahahaha
I'm aware it's garbage.
But I have no choice but to do my best with the resources I have.
I still haven't found a way to improve my vision, and I don't think I'll ever want to improve my senses of touch and taste.
"All right, it's time to get started on what I came here to do. But first../"
I sheathed Martha and Olga and stowed them in my backpack.
My initial motivation for coming here was to train myself without having to hold back like I had to in the library.
I can now fully unleash my full power.
I already caught a glimpse of it on my way here.
Now, it’s time for me to see what I’m really capable of.
I walked up to a tree.
It would take at least five of us to hug its trunk like this one, a giant one like every three in this forest.
I took a fighting stance.
My entire body was enhanced.
I breathed deeply.
I clenched my fist as hard as I could.
"Shaaaaaaaa"
With a scream, I threw my punch onto the large trunk.
Boom
My fist landed on the trunk, leaving a 1 meter crater where my fist and the trunk made contact.
Smoke was coming from between the crater and my fist, making it even more surreal.
I removed my hand from the crater and examined my fist.
There were no injuries in it.
"Yosha, guess who did it, huh?" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
Technically, this is my first real punch.
I'm referring to the first physical one.
All this time, I've been punching nothing but air.
Yes, this is my first punch, and the results are extremely satisfying.
Being no longer able to contain my joy, I began to dance happily like an idiot.
Little did I know at that time that I had guests enjoying the spectacle I was giving.
