Solo Player Arvin Chapter 122

Xander was intoxicated by the alcohol. But even in the influence of alcohol, he didn't give away any information related to the sacred temple or the pieces of the key. And Arvin didn't push him either. If Arvin would have forced him to talk about the keys then it could have blown Arvin's cover. Considering that Xander had seen Arvin in his transformed form he would never let his guard down in front of the stranger.
But it turns out that the talk with Xander was more resourceful than Arvin thought. Xander told him about the Aurora clan and his current enemy Grahmin clan. They were supposed to be allies. But recently due to some events, they have become enemies. On the third floor, these two clans hold a significant amount of power and it could be said that they have equal footing. But they were not alone. There was a third organization that also had the same power as these clans.
Sacred Council is the council that consists of fennec foxes. According to Xander, they are the ones that hold the same amount of power as the Grahmin clan and the Aurora Clan. And although Xander didn't want to accept it but Arvin could feel that the Sacred Council was more powerful than these clans. And alone they would be nothing in front of the Sacred Council.
Xander told him about the fact that every major decision that took place about the whole fennec society is taken by this council. They have the highest authority. Xander also told him that their base of operation is called Stone City. It is a very vast piece of land that these foxes control. No human is allowed there under any condition.
Xander told Arvin that if he goes up to the third floor, then he would find that the atmosphere is very tense there. As all of the three great powers of the third floor have started to grow resentment against one and other. While this could indicate a big war between them, that is why everyone is very tensed. All the small clans have already started taking sides. And almost all the clans have started preparing for the war…
…
Arvin was sure that this type of general information would have its uses in the future. So Arvin was grateful that he met Xander here. Although he was not able to get any information about the sacred temple, he was happy with what he got. So after drinking till evening, Arvin bid farewell to Xander. He then went outside. Disguise himself back into the old man with a cruel face.

Arvin saw that the night was upon him. he was also a little bit drunk with all the alcohol that he consumed with Xander. So Arvin thought that it would be better for him to ascend tomorrow when his head is in the right place. So Arvin went back to the Heavenly Palace and checked in there again.
…
The next morning Arvin woke and felt refreshed. After a healthy breakfast, Arvin checked out of his room and then started his journey to the red gulf. It took around half an hour for Arvin to reach the red gulf.
As Arvin got near the gulf, he also started seeing the ascending tower. But down near the ascending tower. Down by the ascending tower, some people have barricaded the entrance of the tower. Like the obelisk that he came from, this tower was also surrounded by a huge wall made from wooden steaks.
Arvin didn't get dejected by this. He already has gotten the message that to start his trial he just needs to touch the red gulf. So Arvin is down near a rock. He changed back into his human form and wore his battle gear and mask. He then went on to touch the red gulf.
As soon as Arvin touched the red gulf, he vanished from his place…
….
After Arvin touched the red gulf he vanished from his place and found himself in a desert. It was a sandy desert. Arvin understood that this must be the stage where the battle between him and the guardian will take place. So Arvin became serious…
Arvin opened his guardian shield and raised it towards his head. On the other hand, he took out his ax and got ready in the battle stance….
The desert in which Arvin currently was too quiet. He could not hear, feel or sense anything suspicious. Previously the guardian of the first floor manifested himself from the ball of light. So Arvin was thinking that maybe a similar thing would happen for this floor too. But seeing that no ball of light appeared started making Arvin nervous…
{MOVE!!} Loki said abruptly.
Arvin didn't think for a second why Loki said that and followed his order. He jumped sideways from all of his strength. As Arvin moved a second later a very big stinger of a scorpion came forward from the stand and plunged in the sand where a moment ago Arvin was standing.

Arvin heard the stinger slamming in the ground. So Arvin got up on his feet as soon as he can and then threw the ax that he had straight towards the stinger. Arvin's throw although was powerful, it was not enough to sever the stinger completely. Although still it was able to penetrate the stinger and lodged on to the stinger.
As Arvin's ax lodged to the stinger, he heard a very terrible noise which he assumed was the scream. Suddenly the sand started to move and a monster emerged out of it. Thie being had a torso of human while a face like a bug. While his lower body looked like that of a scorpion. As for the hands, that being had huge claws like that of a crab.
As that being emerged from the sand, it flicked its tail or stinger thus throwing Arvin's weapon away. But Arvin called back his ax. With his scorpion-like legs, that being then charged towards Arvin. It started clacking his claws and started following Arvin.
Arvin on the other hand started running instead of confronting it. Arvin had a little bit of idea about the body of a scorpion, thanks to the sand scorpion that he had killed before coming here. That is why he started to run as he knew that he couldn't attack head-on…
Sand Scorpions all had a special exoskeleton that is very hard. So Arvin had some problems earlier when he faced them. Because Arvin had learned a trick. That exoskeleton on their bodies was so strong that his ax is was not able to penetrate its body. But under the scorpion's body, there lies a portion of the body where the exoskeleton is not present.
So Arvin just needs to flip this being and then attack him on his G-spot. While hunting the scorpions Arvin started calling the soft parts as G-spots or Grim-spots. These spots are very lethal to the strongest being on the second floor. So it was obvious that Arvin should name this special spot…
{So are you gonna fight it or will you keep running?} Loki asked.
'I making a strategy.' Arvin replied.
{So what do you plan to do?} Loki asked.
'Alright, first I will try to flip that being.' Arvin said.
{Okay…} Loki said.
'I am afraid that its torso would try to resist but it won't matter' Arvin said.
{Okay…} Loki said.
'But I will make sure that I would do something about the torso. Maybe I will smash it.' Arvin said.
{Getting darker… But okay…} Loki said.
'Then I would take the ax and shove it very far up that being's G-spot' Arvin said
{O…Ok…} Loki said while trying to control his laughter.
'As I have shoved my ax in his G-spot, then with force I will pull it right back out. And the blood that will come from that glory hole… Then I would shove it in again! And then again take it out again! And then I would repeat the process till…' Before Arvin could say anything more, Loki completed his sentence…
{THE BIG CLIMAX?} Loki asked still controlling his laughter.
'I was going to go with bloody carnage but the big climax sounds better too.' Arvin said.
{*HAHAHA*} Loki then couldn't control himself. He started laughing hysterically like a maniac.
While on the other hand, Arvin had no idea what was he laughing about. He then started thinking back about what he said. It was then he realized that maybe Loki is laughing because THE BIG CLIMAX sounded a lot like someone was talking about sex. Arvin then sighed as Loki could have at least laughed at something more funny and mature…
Arvin then while started weaving a magic circle while running here and there. He made the fireball magic circle very small so that rather than doing any damage, the fireball could act as a distraction.
As the magic circle was completely weaved, Arvin then fired it by after he abruptly jumped sideways. When Arvin jumped sideways, he turned around in the air and fired the magic circle straight towards the monster's face.

I hate being summoned. _________________________________ updates once a week until I get more time The idea for this story began in two places. One was the ridiculously rapid pace of gaining power in many novels. Both in games and in novels, I enjoy the struggle of the beginning character, why always the rush? The other was the way many monster or non-human MCs always seem to hurry to become human (again). It always felt like a cheap way to grant the character extra powers without the difficulty of writing a non-standard thought process. Thus I wanted to write the slow(ish) progression of a monster character gaining strength and intelligence, while remaining distinctly non-human. There are no stats, xp or systems, no reincarnated soul or completely formed being to start with - unless I want to make fun of those. While the MC 'evolves', the process takes months if not years to proceed step by little step. Sit down with me and imagine, what would it be like if...
