Right now Arvin was transformed into a Corgan and was viewing the battle between these monsters from a safe distance. He wanted to get a closer look at the fight but the shockwaves that formed from these brute's attacks made it very difficult for him to get too close to them.

But this battle was very informative for Arvin. He was able to see first-hand, how the people from the upper floor fight. How the magic circles are formed and how one should fight in a group. And he had to say the trio from the Aurora clan knew how to fight while they are in a group.

When the purple lighting hit Alman, he was flung backward a few steps. But then stabilized himself quickly. After being hit by that purple lightning, one could see that Alman's body was somehow emitting the purple lightning. And from Alman's facial expression and from his body postures it could be felt that this lightning was binding him somehow.

After Alman was restrained by that lightning, the trio didn't attack him after that. They just started running in the Kalgan forest, leaving Alman behind…

When Arvin saw that he started thinking that maybe the trio would be able to run away after all Alman was struggling with the lightning. But then suddenly a powerful burst of energy was released from Alman's body from which the effect of the lighting faded away.

Finally free from his restraints, Alman started running after the trio. The trio were fast but Alman was faster. He soon caught up to them in the forest…

While running Alman could see that trio were running in front of him. So with a sadistic smile on his face, Alman took out his weapon. The palm of Alman's right hand split opened and a chained kunai knife came out of it. With great precision and speed, Alman swung his right hand and threw his kunai towards Alice's leg.

The kunai knife with Alman's strength pierced through the wind and moved with incredible speed towards Alice's leg. After the kunai then pierced through Alice's right leg thigh. Alice lost her balance and fell down. But Arvin was able to notice one peculiar thing about that knife. As soon as it pierced through Alice's leg, that knife acted like a snake and thus wrapped it around Alice's leg. It felt like that knife was alive somehow.

Park Go Gum and Park Shin Hye came to an abrupt stop when they saw that Alice had fallen. Both of them started thinking about what should they do now…

Park Go Gum started thinking that he should abandon them and just run away from here. Maybe he would be able to convince the Aurora clan that he was not involved in this incident. And this was all just a misunderstanding. But then he looked at Park Shin Hye. She already had started weaving a magic circle in the air. And from the looks of it didn't seem like that she was thinking of abandoning Alice.

Looking at her Park Go Gum knew that she was not running away because of guilt. After all, she was responsible for this mess. It was then Park Go Gum remembered Kim Bhak. During Park Go Gum's mandatory military service, he was his commander. Kim Bhak was a very old man and Park Go Gum respected him too much.

That old man always used to say only one thing to his trainees. The worst scum of the world is that person who abandons their comrades during a war. If there is a 0.1% chance that his comrade could be saved then one should not think twice while jumping in the pit full of enemies.

Park Go Gum didn't choose to be here in Yggdrasil. But he was dragged here anyhow. And then he met his friends that had helped him and supported him… He then decided that he would not be scum. He would help Alice and Park Shin Hye and survive this nightmare…

Alice started screaming from pain. That kunai knife had pierced through her skin and bone. She looked ahead to see whether she was abandoned or not. She was happy to see that both of her friends had not abandoned her….

"*evil laugh*… It seems like you three are very close. I really thought that they would abandon you. But seems that I was wrong…" Alman said.

Then he noticed that Park Shin Hye was weaving another circle. Alman smiled to see her pathetic approach. And soon the magic circle was completed and thus she fired the circle. A big fireball started coming towards Alman.

Alman wanted them to feel despair. He raised his left hand. Another kunai knife came out of his left hand as the palm of his left hand split opened. This time he swung his left hand. From this, the kunai knife was swung towards the fireball. That kunai split the fireball in mid-air thus making it explode in mid-air.

Alman sensed that Park Go Gum was taking a detour and was about to make a sneak attack attempt on him. So he swung the chains in his right hand. With it, Alice was also pulled by him. While Park Go Gum who thought that he had successfully sneaked up to Alman made his move from the right of Alman.

But Park Go Gum failed to notice that Alman had already noticed his attempt of sneak attack. As Park Go Gum took a big leap towards Alman, he was intercepted by Alice's body which was swung and thrown at him by Alman.

The inertia and amount of force used to swing Alice was so strong that the chains of the kunai knife pierced through the flesh of her leg. Thus the lower portion of Alice's leg was dismembered by Alman.

AAAHHH!!!

Alice screamed with the pain while she crash-landed with Park Go Gum towards Park Shin Hye. Alman looked at these people. It was too easy to trample them. Then he recalled his kunai knives. The chains of the knives that were coming out of Alman's hands started slithering back to his hands….

"Pathetic!... I thought people from the Aurora tribe would at least give me a challenge. But seems to me that I gave you guys too much credit, to begin with." Alman said.

Park Go Gum checked the condition of Alice. She was in a very critical condition. It seemed that when the lower leg of Alice was dismembered then with it a crucial artery was also cut. From that, he could see that blood was flowing out of it at a very fast rate. If this goes on then she might die from blood loss.

"I will take care of her. Buy me some time." Park Shin Hye said as she came running towards Park Go Gum and Alice.

Park Go Gum nodded and took out his sword. He strengthens his body to his limits and started running towards Alman. Seeing Park Go Gum running towards him, Alman smiled and gripped his kunai knives. Alman had decided that the time has come for him to end this fight once and for all…

Park Go Gum swung his heavy broad sword towards Alman. Alman easily evaded the attack by stepping towards his left. Then Alman swung his knife towards Park Go Gum. He also evaded Alman's attack by sidestepping.

But after that, Alman noticed the sword that Park Go Gum was using. It was a strong sword and could be considered a high-quality sword. But when compared to his knives, that sword was trash. Alman wanted to test the limits of his power. So after that Alman started swinging his knives with precision towards Park Go Gum.

Alman was more agile and powerful than Park Go Gum. So soon Park Go Gum's fighting style changed from attacking to defending. He wanted to stall as much time as he can for Alice. Park Shin Hye heard the cracking of woods, behind her. She looked around to see a girl with brown color hair. She instantly recognized her as Claire. The girl from the Cullen family. She was the one that delivered the crucial message to Park Go Gum…

"What are you doing here?" Park Shin Hye barked at Claire.

"I am here to take revenge for my master. Who killed her? I saw that you guys and Alman ran here to catch the culprit…" Claire said with a determinance in her voice and eyes.
