It took Arvin 3 days to complete the rune formation. Within these three days, he would eat, sleep and then draw. That is all that he did. And after three days of this vicious cycle, he was finally done with rune formation.

After making a network of lines in the circle on the backside of the shield, Arvin drew different runes, and then he joined all of them in a specific manner with the help of the network of lines. Thus the rune formation was ready. But the work was done yet. One has to give power to the rune formation so that it could actually start working. Loki told him that, the more complex the rune formation is, the more power it would need to start working.

Loki told Arvin that the efficient way to provide the power to rune formation is by supplying power through mana stones. But as the quantity of mana stone that they had is a little bit tight right now, Arvin had to supply his own mana to start the rune formation. Thus Arvin spent two more days giving mana into the rune formation. And frankly, he didn't have to do much. He just sat on the circle and touch the network of lines in the formation. And while touching he had to emit mana from his finger.

The rune formation worked like his ax. It would greedily devour all the mana as fast as it could. Arvin supplied the rune formation with mana for three days. Only then it was ready to be used. After 5 days of constant torture, on the sixth day, Arvin started moving deeper in the forest. The place that Arvin had in his mind for his breakthrough was the mountain of the golden wolf.

He killed the golden wolf not too long ago. But while he was hunting the wolf, Arvin found a cave on the mountain behind a waterfall. On the north side of the mountain was a cliff. And that cave was located behind the waterfall on the cliff. Arvin found that cave while he was in his Corgan form. When he saw that cave he thought that this was the best place to go into hiding if he ever had to in the future.

With that on the sixth day, Arvin transformed into a Corgan and flew towards that cave. Arvin found no signs of any type of animal living there. This cave was behind the waterfall which acted as a perfect camouflage to hide the cave. So that means no beast will be able to come near Arvin amidst his breakthrough.

When Arvin reached the cave he transformed back into his human form. In the cave, there was a little pond that got its water supply from the waterfall. It was that a deep pond. If Arvin was to sit in a lotus position then the water level would only come to his shoulders. So Arvin could easily sit in the pond and started his meditation.

Arvin put the shield in the pond and then sat on it. He sat in the middle of the shield. As soon as he sat in the middle the rune formation activated itself. He then tried to gather all of his mana in his body at his heart. After 4-5 five minutes he was finally able to accomplish that. Then he took out the used mana stone and started absorbing mana from inside the stone. Arvin was surprised to see that how fast and efficiently he was able to absorb mana. This must be the effect of his new physique that he got from Loki.

When the mana from the stone started coming inside Arvin, he controlled that mana and send it directly towards his heart. Stuffing his heart with this much mana felt like filling a bag with clothes. At the start when the bag was empty, clothes would easily slip in. Before that bag is so slim and looking fine. But then when the quantity of clothes increases to a certain level, the bag starts to get bigger and bigger. And after some time even the chain of the bag refuses to get close due to how many clothes have been stuffed in the bag.

Same as the bag, Arvin's heart stored all the mana in his body as well as the mana from the used stone easily. When the mana of the used stone was used, it crumbled away in the dust. Arvin could feel that. Then he took out the fresh mana stone from his inventory and started absorbing mana from that stone.

As he started absorbing mana from the second stone problems started to occur. He started feeling pain from too much mana inside his heart. The heart had reached its limit of how much mana it could hold in it. Now as Arvin was pushing excessive mana inside his heart, the heart was expanding itself. The muscles of the heart had started expanding themselves so that it could make room for the excessive mana.

A few days earlier.

Phyllis and her friend discussed the pros and cons of accepting the offer of that man. They eventually decided that they would accept his offer. After all, they had nothing to lose here. So after a long night of discussion, they wrote the letter 'YES' and folded it up, and kept it at the table. The other day a Corgan flew towards their window. Phyllis handed that letter to that Corgan.

After giving that letter to Corgan all of them slumped down on their respective chairs. They were all very mentally exhausted as this was a very mentally challenging decision that they had to take. Just after few minutes that Corgan returned. This time he had a different letter in his hand. Phyllis took the letter from Corgan's mouth showed it to others…

Phyllis decided that she would open the letter and read it out loud. The letter contained further instructions for all three of them…

Phyllis, Claire, and Cassandra congratulation to all three of you. Now that you have become pawns for the Merchant you have opened the gate of a bright future. If you don't believe me then see it for yourself in the future…

Now that you have become's Merchant pawn you have to keep in mind that insubordination of any type will not be tolerated. If found guilty of any sort of conspiracy then you all will be killed after torturing you all for 2 years.

Before we move forward, can anyone of you please be a doll and hang a cloth from your office window. It doesn't matter what kind of cloth and what color of the cloth is hanged. Please hang the cloth as soon as you can or otherwise my men will kill you within 30 minutes after you sent your reply…

As soon as Phyllis read that she started panicking. With her, Cassandra and Claire also started panicking. While panicking Claire remembered that Phyllis always keeps a cleaning cloth that she uses to books in her study room. She immediately started taking action. She leaped towards the table. She took out the cloth from the drawer. She then went to the window and jammed that cloth between the window and came back.

As Cassandra and Phyllis saw that cloth hanging from the window they all sighed from relief…

"That mother F*ker, he said that he wouldn't kill us." Cassandras cursed.

"Let's forget about that for now. Phyllis, please read ahead." Claire said. To this Phyllis nodded and started reading ahead…

Now that lets come to the main point.

Merchant wants to achieve a goal on the 1st floor. For that goal two noble families, namely, the Cullen family and the Cross family have to perish. To achieve the goal many higher-ups of these families would die in the process.

During all of this, you guys would have the job to keep an eye on all the activities of the Cullen estate. That means you have to update everything that goes on in the Cullen estate to an agent that the Merchant would send that would come in contact with Cassandra within the upcoming two weeks.

Due to the presence of guests that are staying in the Cullen estate right now, Merchant's men had to pull out. These guests or individuals have the power and ability from which they could easily see through their disguise. That is why Merchant is employing you three and one another group from the Cullen family for his plan. Both the teams will give their information tour agent. He would carry forward it to the Merchant.

During the grand plan of the Merchant, all the higher officials as well as many of the important family members of both the Cullen family as well as the Cross family would die. Then all that you have to do is build up the influence well enough. After the dust settles you guys and the other team will only be left. Then you guys will become the only core family member.
