Solo Player Arvin Chapter 64

The next day Arvin went as a Corgan outside the window of Phyllis's office. When he reached outside the office window, he saw that trio of girls was waiting patiently for the Corgan. From what Arvin observed he saw that these girls had fizzy hair and black circles around their eyes. It seems that these girls did not sleep last night.
As Arvin reached outside the window, he pecked on the window to let the girls know that he had arrived. All the girls were respectively seating around the desk with their heads down on the table. When they heard some pecking on the window, they all lifted their head to see a Corgan waiting outside the window.
All of them abruptly got up. While Cassandra and Claire stayed in their respective place, Phyllis went ahead and with a small letter in her hand. She gave that letter to Corgan, who trapped the letter in his beak and flew away…
Arvin then came back to his inn to see their response. The letter he received only had one word written on it. That word was… YES.
After receiving their reply, Arvin took out a letter from his inventory that he had written before this day. Then he transformed back into a Corgan and flew towards Phyllis's house. When he came back he saw that all the girls were there in the office. Arvin pecked on the window like before to gather their attention. When the girls saw that a Corgan had returned with another letter, they abruptly got on their feet and ran towards the office's window.
Phyllis took the letter from the bird's mouth. Before she could open it up, Arvin flew away…
…
After giving the letter to Phyllis and her friends, Arvin didn't waste any time. He then started flying towards Arcane city. For the next part of his plan, he needed to meet with Alman. There he needed to throw a bait for him. And then will come the next part of his plan. That was to become an acolyte.
Arvin straight away went towards a very shady inn of Arcane city. It was located in the outwards of the city. Arvin straight away landed in an alley behind the inn. There he transformed back into a human and dressed up. He disguised with the face of the middle-aged man with a cruel face. Then he went to the inn and booked a room for two days. That day Arvin again practiced his rune formation. After tiring himself, he went to sleep.

The next day Arvin transformed back into a Corgan and went straight towards the storehouse in the City Watch HQ. The last time he came here he stole a large number of supplies of the city watch. Arvin saw as he was coming here that the security had been increased a lot inside the HQ so that incident doesn't happen again. But he didn't care about it. Arvin transformed back into a human form inside the storehouse. This time instead of wearing his regular clothes he wore the battle gear that he got from the ghost faction.
After wearing all the black clothes and the golden mask, looked down. These clothes fitted him perfectly. The sleeveless vest highlighted Arvin's muscular arms which made him looked dangerous. Arvin went outside the storehouse. He could feel that a guard was sitting outside the storehouse. But luckily that guard was asleep. After all, this was the most boring job in the HQ. So without seen by anyone, Arvin got out of the storehouse. Then without any restraining himself, he ran towards the entrance of Alman's private house.
Arvin didn't hide when he came towards the house. There were 4 guards stationed outside Alman's house. The guards by Alman's house became vigilant as a stranger came near the house of their commander. Arvin casually walked towards the guards.
"Greeting. My name is Tiger. I am here to meet Lord Alman. Is he here?" Arvin said to those guards.
"Who are you? And how did you come here?" one of the guards asked.
"As I said. My name is Tiger. I came from the third floor. And I am here to meet Lord. Alman. Is he available?" Arvin said calmly.
"Is he expecting you?" the guard asked.
"No. I am afraid I have come here uninvited." Arvin said. Then the guards started looking towards each other, as they did not know what to do in this situation.
"See guys, I am just a messenger. So I am no fighter, If he is not here or cannot meet me, I understand. You don't have to look so wary." Arvin said.
"Sir would you mind waiting here for a moment. I will inform Lord Alman about you." One of the guards asked nicely. To this Arvin just nodded his head. The guard then left in a hurry and went in inside the mansion.

All the guards were worried as Arvin claimed himself to be from the third floor. That meant he was far stronger than any of those here. Except for Alman himself, no one can do anything to him. So they all vigilantly waited with Arvin outside the mansion. And soon that guard who had left came back.
"Sorry for making you wait, sir. Lord Alman will meet you now." That guard said with courtesy.
Then that guard escorted Arvin inside Alman's mansion. They both directly went to the 2nd floor where Alman's study room was located. While walking towards the study room, Arvin was feeling nostalgic as he did not think that he would return to this place ever again. But here he was going to meet the same man who tried so hard to kill him that day.
Guard then took Arvin to the study room. He then left him outside the study room and went outside again. Arvin then knocked on the door once. Then a heavy voice of Alman came from the inside...
"Come on in."
Arvin then pushed the door open only to see the same room from which he ran away clinging on to his life…
The furniture of the room has been changed. The desk that was destroyed at that time was replaced with a more shiny desk. And Alman looked just the same as well. He was seated behind his desk and smiling when he saw Arvin's appearance.
Arvin ahead and as he came close to Alman, he bowed in front of him…
"It is a pleasure to meet Lord Alman," Arvin said.
"Pleasure is mine… Mr?" Alman asked while still smiling.
"Please call me Tiger sir. For sake of meeting you, I will be using my alias. Tiger." Arvin said.
"Please have a seat, Mr. Tiger," Alman said as he gesturing towards the chair in front of his desk. Arvin sat on the chair and then looked at the still smiling face of Alman. He then started speaking.
"Lord Alman, please let me start by introducing myself again. My name is Tiger. I work for a man who is referred to as the Merchant on the upper floors. He sends me here as a representative with the purpose to ask you whether you would be interested in a job that Merchant had to offer." Arvin said.
"So a guy whose name is Merchant send you here to ask me whether I would be interested in doing a job for him?" Alman said. While he was saying the fake smile on his face vanished.
"Yes. And of course, you will be compensated for your work." Arvin added further.
"How much is this merchant willing to pay me?" Alman asked with a smug on his face.
"Depending on how you handle the job the pay will vary," Arvin said.
"Oho… What is the job?" Alman asked.
"Three individuals who have come down on this floor and are staying in The Cullen family estate. They seem to have come here to look for a magical weapon. The job is to get that weapon and kill those three."
"Woah… So you want to kill them? Do you know who they are?" Alman asked while glaring at the man in front of him. Alman already knew about the identity of those three. But this was the first time he got information about a weapon…
"We are not forcing you to do anything, sir. It is totally up to you whether you want to take the job or not." Arvin then added further.
"What will you do if I say no?" Alman asked.
"I will return to my home and convey your wishes to Merchant. Then he would look for any other individual to do this job." Arvin said.
"You are making it sound so easy…" Alman said.
"2 mana stones will be given to you now as an advance for accepting the job. 13 mana stones will be given to you if you kill those three. And if you can get your hands on that weapon that they are looking for and want to sell it to us we will be able to compensate you with 40 mana stones for that weapon." Arvin added on further…

There are currently 110+ chapters of Path of Blood there. P.S - I started Path of Blood about a year ago so the first fifteen chapters have some problems character wise however I'm currently working with an editor to remedy these to make the story a better read. Anyway, these issues don't last long and since Pob is a story that rewards the patient, only those who've read till the latest will understand how good the story really is....I designed it to get better with every ark, surprises planned at every corner and the eventual ending of Pob will definitely not dissapoint, so stick around and give it a chance. :D
