Solo Player Arvin Chapter 53

Arvin changed his clothes and hide his face behind a black mask. He did this in case the old man makes a run for it. Arvin will of course have followed him to the depts of the hell. But when Old man attacked Arvin straight on, Arvin started feeling that maybe this old man is all power and no brains. Because he really attacked a guy straight on whose strength is unknown. That old man must have gone senile or something.
But Arvin didn't care. He picked the man's corpse and put it in his inventory. Then he got out from there. When Arvin had chopped off the old man's head, a lot of blood came pouring out of his body. Arvin didn't have time to clean all that up. So he took the corpse and get the hell out of there. This way the guards will have no way to check whose blood was that. It was a good thing that this world did not DNA recognizing technology.
So Arvin took the old man's corpse and went to the outskirts of the city. With his speed coming back and forth didn't take much time so he didn't worried about much about time. On the outskirts of the city, he went into a secluded as well as abandoned house. There he undressed the old man. And he wore his clothes. With the corpse, Arvin had also brought back that old man's knife, his inner-city token, and the satchel.
Arvin put the old man's corpse back in the inventory and then starting running back to the inner city. Before Arvin went to the gate, he started walking with a hunched back like the old man used to walk. And soon he reached the gate…
When Arvin reached the inner city gate, he was inspected by the inner city guards for any weapon or such. They were very lenient when checking him as they all knew Han. And then they granted him entrance to the inner city.
Unlike the outer city, the inner city was truly an infrastructure marvel. The roads of the inner city were made of blocks. There were street lamps from place to place. Although the outer city too had street lamps they were mainly on the main roads. While alleys were still shrouded in darkness in the night. But in the inner city all the alleys didn't matter how small, all had street lamps.

When Arvin entered the inner city he saw that the most number of people that he could see around here were workers, butlers, and maids. Only a few people wore colorful and decent clothes. That made Arvin realized that the majority of people in the inner city belonged to commoners. But the real power in the inner city lies with rich merchants and noble families.
As he stepped into the city, he was mesmerized by the well-made buildings and the clean environment. But then he gasped air in as he realized one crucial fact…
He didn't know where was the Cullen estate.
He was so focused on doing major things that he didn't realize this mistake. Now, what was he supposed to do? He couldn't just go and ask someone. He didn't know anyone here. Now, what is he suppose to do now? As Arvin was standing by thinking about what to do next, someone tapped on his shoulders from behind.
Arvin looked back and saw a very familiar face of a girl. The girl in front of Arvin was brunette wearing a pink color robes. She had a child-like face with a Milf-like body. Arvin was too familiar with the face. He had met this girl in the HTC branch in Arcane city a few months back. She came there with Phyllis Cullen…
"Uncle Han. What are you doing here standing in the middle of the road." Cassandra asked.
"Nothing my lady," Arvin replied. While spying on the Gran Family estate a few days back, he had heard the way the servants were supposed to address their masters. Following the same tradition Arvin also started referring to Cassandras as 'my lady'.
"But why were you standing?"
"Forgive me, my lady. It seems like this old age is taking a toll on me…" Arvin replied
"So Uncle Han, are you going back to Cullen estate?"
"Yes, my lady."
"Then let's go together then."
"Sure my lady, I would love to accompany you," Arvin said.
..............
It was a good thing as well as a bad thing that Arvin met Cassandra. It was a good thing that she escorted him to the Cullen estate without any problem in the middle. But the bad thing about this whole situation was that Cassandra was a chatterbox. While coming to the estate, Cassandra talked constantly. She was so irritating that Loki the most irritating guy Arvin knew also started getting irritated from her useless talks.

But As with her help, Arvin was able to get inside the Cullen estate, he forgives her for frying his brain with useless information…
Arvin remembers seeing this estate from up above. All the other estate in the inner city were made in the form of a circle. There was the outer circle then and then there was the inner circle. Arvin didn't know what was up with the obsession of people Yggdrasil that they divide all the living areas in a circle. But this is just how things worked here.
While spying on the Gran family, Arvin was able to discern that like the city, the inner circle and outer circle depict the social status of the people in the family. Some members of the family were very important while few were freeloaders. These circles represented the inner standing of the individual in the family.
While the other two estates in the inner city were divided into circles and such, this estate was the one with no such boundaries. This estate was a full-fledged mansion with no signs of any sort of circles.
As this estate as they were no circles for elite or something like that, it made Arvin's job's easier. It was because Arvin observed that in the Gran estate, even servants had social standing, they were also discriminated against as elites and low-class servants. If this estate also had the concept of circles it would have been hard to figure out, where was the standing of this old grandpa that he was mimicking.
After reaching the estate, Cassandra left after saying goodbye to Uncle Han. Then she went deeper into the estate. Then Arvin also started entering the estate. He didn't know what or how he was supposed to be doing things. But he had a gut feeling that today will be the day that he will meet Josh again. With that, he entered the estate.
Cullen estate was a very huge compound. Around a very big mansion spread over an area of 5 hectares, there was a lush garden area. There was a huge glass dome in the garden which Arvin supposed that to be a greenhouse. There were different types of colorful flowers spreading their fragrance in the garden area.
Just the south of the mansion there was a small 8 feet wall, beyond that was the groups of small 1 bedroom houses. These were the servant's quarters. Although small in size these quarters were still of far better quality than any house in the outer city. And then there was the estate itself. Full of magnificence the main estate was the main piece of attraction. With its light yellow color, the estate sparkles when the golden sun rays fall on the estate.
Arvin was very impressed by the estate, but he didn't have any time to admire its magnificence as he had work to do. As Arvin entered the estate he saw that he had entered a very big ass room. A very heavy and big chandelier was hanging by the ceiling. While just below the chandelier were a couple of sofa sets. Just beyond the sofa set, two staircases were leading in two opposite directions.
As Arvin saw those staircases he thought that he would check out the upper floors after some time. Because if Josh was a prisoner here then he would be typically kept in the basement or something similar to that. So rather than going up, he should find a way to get down. With that Arvin was about to go and explore the estate when a middle-aged man wearing a butler uniform came glaring towards him.
"HAN! How many times do I have to tell you that you shouldn't slack off? Do you think that I have given you a free pass just because you are old?" The butler said. He then stood in front of Arvin glaring at him like he will eat him alive.
"I...Um…." Arvin tried to talk back but he didn't know what else to say.
"I will deal with you later. For now, let's go. Mater is calling you. It seems that you have made a blunder in the library." Butler said. And then he started walking away. Then Arvin also started walking behind him.
