Solo Player Arvin Chapter 49

Infiltration in the inner city was a very bad idea. After stealing the statue Arvin caused a commotion. But as there was no evidence to tie him to the crime scene he didn't worry about it much. His main concern was Josh's whereabouts. And it was because of that, the next morning of the heist Arvin transformed into a Corgan and infiltrated the inner city. But boy that was a very bad move.
Arvin didn't have any idea of the general direction nor the appearance of the estate of the Cullen family. He didn't know where it was nor had any idea about how to find it. But what he did know was that Cullen is supposed to be a noble family. That would mean that one of the biggest estates in the inner city will be theirs. But after transforming into a Corgan, while flying in the sky, Arvin was able to spot not 2 but 3 huge estates.
These estates were huge. These estates were in three distinct corners of the inner city. And on the comparison, these estates were of similar sizes. As Arvin saw those estates he was not able to find any clue that could suggest that this estate belongs to the Cullen family. So Arvin did what he could have done at that moment… Eavesdrop and spy on those estates.
Through eavesdropping, although Arvin was able to find out that one of the estates belongs to some Gran family. But still, he had to find the owners of the other two estates. And then after that, he still has to find Josh. Then he had to get him out of there. That was a lot of work and he had to do that in a very small amount of time. So he knew he got to have an alternative otherwise this isn't working.
But the problem was that he could not go out in the open with his real face. As he was a very famous guy out here. So the only thing that Arvin could do was increase his mana capacity. So to increase his mana capacity Arvin was going to ask Lopt about what he had to do it…
'Lopt I need to increase my mana capacity. Right now.'
{About time. So remember the runic magic book that you got from Alman.}
'Yes. You told me not to touch it until I say so.'

{Correct. Now I am giving you my permission. Read it.}
'Ok.'
Then Arvin took a very fat book from his inventory and started reading it. But as he was reading it he started to have a feeling that maybe this book is no normal book at all. As he was reading the book, Arvin would experience a terrible headache sometimes when he would see a specific rune. And then the headache will vanish as soon as he would avert his eyes or change that page. It was because of these phenomena Arvin started feeling that maybe this is no normal book at all.
Due to his eidetic memory, Arvin had skills from which he could memorize everything that he ever reads. And that memory will be stored in his brain forever. Due to this ability, some people back on earth compared him to a computer because as far as memory is concerned his memory had more space and data than any computer in the world.
It took around 36 hours for Arvin to complete that book. During that 36 hours, Arvon didn't sleep, eat, or rested for a minute. He was on fire while reading this book and he didn't want to stop at any cost. And finally, after 36 hours Arvin completed his goal.
Arvin learned a lot from that book. It turns out that runic language is the basic language to cast a spell. The spell circles were also made with runic magic. Plus in every type of magic out there one way or another runic magic is always involved…
Runes could be categorized into 4 different categories.
1>Simple runes==>These are the runes that could be used for simple magic. These are simply very easy runes to use. They are the runes from which simple magic circles are drawn. These costs a very little amount of mana.
2>Royal Runes==>These are the runes that are more powerful and aggressive than simple runes. They pack more power to them as well as they are more difficult to cast. They cost a very huge amount of mana when compared to simple runes.
3>Imperial Runes==>As the name suggests these runes are the most powerful runes of them all. They are very few in numbers. They are so powerful that only one rune alone could change a lush green forest into a wasteland
4>Hemo Runes==>These runes are powerless alone. But when combined and some combos these runes could get as powerful as Royal Rune.

Any magic circle out there is made by combining different categories of runes with each other. The power of a magic circle is dependent on the type of runes used while making it Magic circles made of simple runes will have less power while magic circle made of Imperial Runes will have more devastating power
Then that book talked about different common runes. While studying the structure of runes, Arvin's started having a headache. It was later Lopt told him that while learning the structure of runes one can expect some headaches. And soon Arvin was done with the runes….
.....................….
Claire was angry at the moment. She was a Rank-A warrior which has the magical sensitivity of 2. Yet she was stuck here in this city trying to find a missing statue. A day ago, a black hooded person came at midnight and stole the statue of the Cullen family's ancestor. She did not know why someone would want that old statue but higher-ups of the family had given Phyllis Cullen the task to do something about it. As she worked for Phyllis it was now her job to find that statue. And this job is becoming a pain in the ass for her.
Many people saw a black hooded person running away from the square that night as they all woke up from the loud noise. But no one knows or remembers anything that could help her to find this guy. That only made her job tougher. But one guy's statement did help her. According to him, that hooded guy made the statue vanish with just his touch. That was a piece of crucial information according to her.
She had heard that about small leather pouches that could be found in the higher floors. They are called spatial pouches. These pouches are magical and have a space in them. She had heard that one could store countless things in those pouches. She even had heard a rumor that some spatial pouches have so much space that they can store an estate in them. She knew that this was an absurd rumor but she still was curious whether it was true or not?
Claire found it weird that a statue that huge could not just vanish just like that. If that hooded black figure did have a spatial pouch with him then that would mean that he came from upper floors. She knows that some people from the upper have come to the 1st floor in search of something. She didn't know the exact details. But with this piece of vital information, she could maybe get in the good books of those people. And maybe they could set her free…
But that was a long shot. So she didn't have any high hopes. But still, it was worth a try. So she decided that she should head back home and directly tell those guys about her finding. Last time she saw those guys heading towards the Kalgan forest to look for that boy. They were bound to be back by now. With that, she started going back…
.....................
While Claire was going back to Cullen's estate, Arvin was having a conversation with Lopt about increasing his power…
'It would take 5 days to set up the shield with runic magic?'
{Yes. There is no mana out here. So it is bound to take some time.}
'But 5 days? I can't wait for 5 days. Who knows what will happen to Josh by that time.'
{But we have no other option kiddo.}
'There got to be another way.'
{That is not the runic magic works. Let me tell you how this magic works…}
'No, I am not interested. I want…' Before Arvin could speak something else a notification window pop up in front of Arvin…
[Sytem control is established again.]
[Half-face witch has taken control over the system]

'Are you seeing what I am seeing?'
{Yes.}
'What the hell is going on?'
{I…. don't know.}
'You don't know?'
{Not a clue}
'So what am I suppose to do now?'
{I… don't know.}
'Wait. Does this mean that you will now have to leave me?'
