Solo Player Arvin Chapter 31

The kunai knife was a typical Japanese-style knife. While the chain attached at its back had spikes coming out all of its body. With magic, that weapon was bound to Alman. He got this weapon from a crypt on the second floor. When Alman sensed that the alien signature may be trying to get his hands on his mana stones, he flipped. He didn't care who that person was, he directly sent his weapon aiming at that signature.
Arvin was very lucky that he was able to avoid that kunai knife. When Arvin barely dodged the knife, he became aware that someone powerful had become aware of his presence. So without any delay, he started getting out of the room. As a fly, Arvin had found and mapped several small paths that he could use if something goes sideways…
Arvin used his full speed and got out of the cupboard. While the knife that Alman had sent flying towards him has pierced the roof. Sensing that his knife was not able to pierce, Alman called back his knife. As he did that the chain, attached to the knife started retreating in his Alman's palm.
Alman was able to sense that alien signature. That signature had just moved towards the adjacent room. And the worst part was that Alman could not feel the presence of the mana stones in his study room. That made me very very angry.
On the 1st floor, Alman was like an overlord. Everyone behaved in front of him. But there were some cases when someone challenged his authority. Alman then either takes care of them himself, or the lord from the upper floor sends someone to help him. After all, he played a very vital role for their organizations…
Alman then lost it, so jumped from the 1st floor towards the second floor where his study room was located. He made a hole on the floor of the second floor of his mansion and got study room. He could still feel the mana signature in the other room. As he was about to go after the alien signature, his eyes stopped on the note lying near his feet. That was a note left by Arvin. That note somehow flew off his desk in this commotion.

Alman when reading the note, he lost it. He remembered Arvin. But he had never really cared about his whereabouts. He knew that one way or another he will turn up somewhere and he will take care of him. He had ordered his men to look out a boy with brown skin and bigas* burn mark on his face. Till now nothing appeared on his radar. It was like the boy had vanished from the city…
"ARVIN!!!" Alman screamed with anger. Thus he unleashed his full power. Mana in his body started stirring up. The surrounding floor and walls started forming cracks due to his aura. And then Alman sent a mana burst out of his body, thus resulting in an explosion in his study room.
He then targeted Arvin's mana signature once more and sent his knife flying towards him in another room. The knife pierced through the wall of the study room and went straight towards the waiting area. But Alman missed this time too. Like before, Arvin was able to dodge the knife. But it only pissed Alman more.
He recalled his knife and started chasing after Arvin. He ran through the wall of the study room and went towards the waiting area, only to see that there was no one there. But Alman could still sense Arvin's mana signature in the room. It was a very small signature, but Alman thought that he may be using some sort of artifact to hide. Or he must have something that could make him invisible, so Alman unleashed his power once again.
He sends out a mana burst like before. This time it was a more powerful burst than before. This burst destroyed everything in the room and made a large hole in the ceiling…
Arvin, who was in the form of a fly, was having a hard time dealing with Alman. He doesn't know how, but he is always able to find his exact location. He was having a hard time dealing with him. But then Arvin sensed some sort of energy starting to gather outside of Alman, he had a bad feeling. He had heard the explosion before, but he was not able to witness it. But looking at the energy now in front of him, Arvin had a feeling something similar or something terrible then explosion from before is going to happen. So he took cover under a lamp that was hung on the wall of the waiting area.

As the explosion took place, it made a hole in the ceiling, as well as it flung the lamp in the air. While flying in the air, Arvin bumped on the walls of the lamp. But he still didn't lose his focus. Sensing that he was out of HQ, he moved outside of the lamp. Arvin thought it would be the best if he would just fly at a certain height. Maybe then Alman would not be able to sense him.
As Arvin started gaining some height, Alman became aware of the fact that he could feel Arvin's signature no more. But he still was not able to see his body. So he extended his search, and he just was able to sense just a glimpse of Arvin's signature in the air. Enraged that he was in the air and gaining some distance, Alman started gathering mana again. This time he started gathering mana in the form of a ball.
That ball was red was giving off a very dangerous feeling. When Alman finished gathering enough mana, he threw that ball to the last location of Arvin's signature. When the ball reached the location it exploded sending a very powerful wave that either cracked or broke the glasses of the entire Arcane city. The building that was near the explosion was demolished into smithereens.
Alman observed the explosion closely. He didn't care if any human life would be lost from this or not. He only cared about his mana stones. And after the explosion, a very big smile bloomed on his face. A man with his power has exceptionally great eyesight. So, he was able to see a glimpse of a naked brown skin man that suddenly manifested himself in the shockwave of the explosion. And that man was blown to some distance because of that attack's burst.
....
Arvin didn't know what happened or how it happened. He was flying away from the HQ. He was happy that the heist was successful. But as he was flying back, he saw the ball of mana flying towards him. As a fly who has more than 300 eyes, he was able to see everything in 4D dimensions. So he saw the ball coming his way.
But the ball was way fast. Before Arvin could dive down, the ball reached him and exploded. That explosion was so powerful that it made him lose consciousness. As he got unconscious, the transformation wore off and he started getting transformed back to human.
Now in human form, Arvin crashed into a building in the inner circle of the city. Luckily the crash landing brought back his consciousness. He then saw that he had crash landed in a storage facility of some sort. There was a smell of various chemicals in the air. Arvin then tried to feel his body.
He could feel that something may be wrong with his ribs. He was feeling tremendous pain from there. His legs and arms felt fine to him. On the other hand, his head was ringing like crazy.
Luckily for Arvin, he was just caught in the after a burst of the explosion and not in the explosion. So he only had a few scratches and cuts on his body. But his body was paining like hell. As he was trying to get up, he started hearing a tune in his head…
Ding ding ding ding…
{GUESS WHO'S BACK?} a voice said in his head. This voice had a British accent and Arvin recognized the voice instantly…

Tellus Stirs (Previously Earth AA)
The year is 2030. Earth is dying. War, pandemics, overwhelming pollution, species going extinct, climate change, etc. The so-called human race has brought more harm to their planet due to greed; their increased energy needs were on a path of decadence even with their increased technological advancements. Tactical Nukes were already used in conflicted zones in the fight for resources. The conclusion was a deep and frightening hum unleashed deep within the earth, heard by every living creature, and with it, civilization has ended. Those who survived wished they were slain along with their loved ones as the dead didn't have to endure what came after. Others took the opportunity to gain unimaginable power and prestige as a new age began. Chaos reigned as per the prophecies foretold in the past. Those who did not believe knew the signs were actual; these prophecies were no longer popular folk tales. Such titles, the Breaking, the Rapture, the Malhama, and many others, came at a high cost. After all, every city or densely populated area had been hit with natural disasters that encompassed tsunamis, Earthquakes, Firestorms, Typhoons, and hurricanes. Power, food, infrastructure. All of it was gone and what came after was worse as humans were no longer top of the food chain. Yet the imminent destruction of the 21st century re-opened a veil that had kept the world safe from hidden dangers, or maybe it was the other way around. Time will tell. In our story, the Protagonist rises from the ashes of the apocalypse. A desert child soldier nurtured by tragedy and death looking for an escape to fill the void in his heart.
