Solo Player Arvin Chapter 28

Being a pigeon is no joke. Literally.
-Arvin
......................
The transformation from a human to a pigeon was a very strange experience. According to Dobby, Arvin just has to think about the Corgan and the skill will activate automatically. Arvin thought maybe Dobby was just pulling his leg. He was sure that maybe he needed a code word or a spell for the skill to work. But then as he tried thinking about the bird, the skill activated.
It was the weirdest sensation that Arvin had ever felt. He felt that the world around him suddenly started increasing in size. He started a ticklish feeling all over his body. He started feeling that his clothes ' size was getting bigger and bigger. And the weirdest part was his vision. It was like the number of images that he could see at a time started increasing.
After just a few seconds, Arvin realized that the world around him had grown considerably. The weirdest part was that he could see his front and his back at the same time. He felt like he was seeing a recording from a 360-degree camera recording. It was not surprising that he had turned into a bird but it was still freaking him out.
Arvin tried to move with two little legs, but he soon found that it was a tad bit difficult. He fell as soon as he took one step. Being a pigeon was not a joke at all. With the 360 degrees vision and these small legs, it was very hard for Arvin to walk. But after a bit of practice which consumed 30 mins of his transformation time. As Arvin had mastered the art of walking, now that was left for him was to practice the art of flying.
Arvin had no idea about how to start flying. So for obvious reasons he tried to flap his arms or in case his wings. Just the old fashion way. Usually when a human flap
his wings or his hands up and down, nothing happens. But in the case of a bird moving their wings, in the same way, can lead them to fly away. Arvin didn't think of that.

So when Arvin started moving his wings, he started moving them at full throttle. As a result, his body was able to fly for a little bit. But because his speed of ascending was so fast, Arvin was not able to fully control his flight. As a result, he flew straight into the gate of his room. Thus banging his head on the door.
That slam on the door made Arvin dizzy for a moment there. He got so irritated that he…
'System, how do I turn back to a human?'
[Host just has to think about it.]
'Fine.'
Arvin then reverted to human form again. Slowly and steadily his body started growing and he turned back. It took only a few seconds to turn back to a human. Now lying buck naked on the floor, Arvin stared at his room's ceiling. His body was covered in sweat and his heart was beating abnormally fast. Arvin felt hungry for some reason.
Arvin looked at his body condition and asked Dobby a question…
'Hey Dobby, how long did I stay
transformed?'
[About 33 mins]
'Dobby, the skill description said that the transformation will last for one hour. Yet only after using this skill for half an hour, my body felt like it would just break apart.'
[Host body is feeling this way because the host's proficiency in the skill, as well as the host's level, is very low.]
'So that means that I won't be able to stay in this form for more than 40 mins or so?'
[No, the Host can stay like this for a whole 1 hour. But due to the host's low level, the amount of fatigue that the host will experience after 1 hour will be very high.]
'That is some good news… For now.' Arvin said as he sighed.
..........................................
After his transformation, Arvin went down and had a very large supper. Then he came back to his room and slept for 10 hours straight. When he woke up, Arvin went to the inn owner and brought some extra mattresses to his room. It cost him some money but he didn't care about it for now.

From the mattresses that he brought, Arvin covered his room with them. Then he got naked and transformed again. This time he practiced his flying without any worry to slam into something. But it was not easy as he thought.
While flying a normal Corgan uses his whole body. From its tail to his wings. Arvin took whole 3 days to master flying from here to there. Now, all that was left was to infiltrate the building…
On the 3rd day, Arvin opened the window of his room and flew away from his room. Arvin was afraid of heights so he didn't fly very high. But he still flew at a great speed. And it only took him a minute to get from his inn to the HQ of the city watch.
From the sky, Arvin could see that the whole city watches were divided into many sections. There was a training ground, there was the main building, there was what looks to be a storehouse, and last but not least the shabby building in which Arvin was forced to fight. But as he looked at the layout of the building from above, Arvin realized something.
That night, when Arvin was captured by the city watch, when he was released, the soldier took him through various twists and turns and sent him outside the city. And the whole time that was happening, they never came outside. They only came outside near the western gate. Arvin at that time didn't realize that they had just traveled through an underground tunnel. It was then he realized something. That may be, this whole HQ has an underground maze under it?
It was a possible explanation for what he had experienced. As well as it would make complete sense. For a city this big, in some unseen circumstances, it would be completely strategic and natural to build underground roads for better transportation.
..........................................…..
It took 3 months for Arvin to be completely able to map out the entire HQ. It took one month because the HQ was full of underground tunnels and so, he had to be careful to map out everything that he saw there. Plus he was afraid of Alman. He was very strong. Arvin had no idea whether he would be able to see through his transformation or not. So he didn't take any chances and went into the HQ when Alman would leave for his rounds around the city.
Arvin was also able to find out that Alman lived in the HQ itself. The form of the building was dedicated to all the police matters or so, while the backside of the building was Alman's mansion. He lives there with his servants. Like a pigeon, he was not able to map out the inside of the building. So he took the jar of flies and it into a fly.
Being a fly turned out to be way more peculiar than a bird. But after some practice, he was easily able to control his transformation with ease. But the only drawback of the fly transformation was that if he was attacked seven times by other corgans in the area. But still, somehow he always manages to survive from the birds.
Arvin when mapping out the whole building heard some interesting things too. Like a war will happen sooner or later between all the noble families. And only the Arcane city is the only place where there is no influence of any families. So shortly the city will be flooded with people fleeing from the other cities.
Hearing this piece of information, Arvin understood that in the future the prices of commodities in the city will skyrocket. This gave him a very evil idea…
While mapping out the building, Arvin was able to find various things that could be useful for him in the future. Like there was a very big library in Alman's mansion. Arvin read some of the titles that were kept there. He noticed that some book titles have the word 'Magic' written on them. He then remembered Phyllis' girl talking about magic.
She told her that if he signs allegiance to their family, they would allow him to learn magic.
But now it seems like the only thing he needs is a good heist…
