Solo Player Arvin Chapter 18

Fierce bird is an overlord among all the beasts that could be found on the 1st floor. It is a Rank-A beast and is known to live within the deepest parts of the Kalgan forest. Unlike the other birds that make their nest on the trees, Fierce birds make their nest on the ground. Standing at the height of 15 feet high, while some birds are also found to have a height of 19 feet high. They make their nest in such a way that it becomes impenetrable by any predator.
Fierce bird uses its strength and cuts down trees with it. While they make a nest with leaves, they fortify the surrounding area of the nest with trees. They dug some holes and planted uprooted trees in that hole. While making a fortress, the mother bird stays with the egg in the nest while the father completely fortifies the surroundings. Thus making walls around the nest and locking the mother bird in there with the eggs.
The mother bird stays with the eggs in the nest until the eggs hatch and it is only after that the Fierce bird comes out of the dome. While the mother bird stays in the nest, the father bird goes around hunting animals and throws some food inside the nest so that the mother bird can feed on it.
Due to their size, the Fierce bird has incredible strength. Despite their size, they can fly. And worst of all, they attack their enemy via sound waves. Because of the sound waves any person or animal below a Rank-C is not able to stand in front of a Fierce bird. Below Ranck-C anyone who hears that birds cry dies by their head explodes. And even above Rank-C only Rank-S and Rank-A are immune to their attack. While Rank-B and Rank-C when attacked with the sound wave, are left confused about their place.

............…..
Harry has been learning all about business and affairs of the 1st floor since he was a little kid. His father had great expectations from him. And he indeed was a genius. Despite being a genius the only bad thing about him was his personality. He was kind of a sadist. Although he was very small so his sadist personality had been suppressed. But for how long?
When he found the Fierce egg in the Kalgan Forest, Harry felt extremely excited. He had read all there is to know about the Fierce bird and their lifestyle. And he knew that if he has this egg right now, then he should count his lucky stars as this was a golden opportunity for him.
The fierce bird was very hard to tame. All the Rank-A and Rank-S warriors could subdue Fierce bird, but the taming bird was a whole another aspect. Due to their strength, they are very hard creatures to tame. Although a few people had tamed that bird in the past. Some people who went to the 2nd floor when they came back after a long adventure were able to tame that bird.
Harry had read in the records of Cullen's family library about this. He didn't know why or how but it is mentioned in the records that people who can go to the 2nd floor are monsters among monsters. And for them, Fierce bird is just a small kitten.
He had asked his father about what is so special about the 2nd floor that people who climb it return as overlord. To his question, his father just smiled and said…
"Don't bite off more than you can chew"
He didn't get any answer that he wanted. But his curiosity didn't tone down a little bit. He thought that maybe people on the second floor would have found a way from which they can trick Fierce bird. So he started researching about it.

When a Fierce bird couple lays an egg, they form a connection with the egg. Both the father and mother of the egg can feel the egg's presence no matter how you hide it. People tried various things in the past. Like some tried to hide the egg underground, underwater, in a very smelly place, etc. But no matter what they did, Fierce birds would always find the egg.
Stealing an egg was an easy thing, but keeping the egg was very hard. And for stealing the egg, many Rank-A and Rank-S HTCs had to gather and form an elaborate plan to steal an egg. There was also a 70% chance that something might go wrong. So in the end it was not worth that much to steal the egg.
But when Harry researched the plan to tame the bird, he concluded that the only way to steal the egg was to kill both mother and father and then take the egg. It was a very simple yet dangerous plan.
When Harry found the egg in this forest, he became very happy as now he was the owner of the egg. According to what he had known, either the mother or the father to egg would have come hunting them down by now. But that was only the case if they are still alive that is.
A fierce bird may be the overlord, but they were not invincible. Many beasts could have the power in Kalgan to kill a fierce bird. But the thing was to kill a fierce bird a group of beasts had to attack at the same time.
He had been standing here in the spot for 3 hours now. But still, no Fierce bird had come destroying everything in their path. That only meant one thing. The parents of the egg were dead. That means he was now the owner of the bird. Harry knew the significance of the egg. With this egg, his Cullen family will become the strongest family on the 1st floor. And if they plan it meticulously they also might be able to destroy one noble family or two…
When Harry starts thinking about the bright future that the Cullen family might possess in the future, it gives him goosebumps. Harry might be an ambitious and a genius young master. But still, he was a child who was wet around his ears.
Harry was proud of his genius level and he thought that he could buy these mercenaries' silence with money. And they were all low-rank mercenaries, they might not even know about the characteristics of the fierce bird's egg. He just assumed that they would not be able to recognize the egg. But he was wrong.
One of the mercenaries had recognized the egg. The low-rank mercenary was the weakest among the group. But he was an educated man who had read about the egg. He may be weak, that didn't mean he was not smart. When he first saw the egg, he thought that maybe they should just betray him. Kill him, take the egg and sell it to the highest bidder.
But then he thought that he was not powerful nor influential enough to run away from the clutches of the Cullen family. So the best option for him would be to sell the information about Harry possessing the egg to Cullen family competitors…
Little did the man know that this was the exact moment in time that was the starting point of the great chaotic war.

Void Breaker
Note: Sadly, this story is currently on hiatus :( Elizabeth Sayler had lost everything in the bombing of Reaver Stadium. Her career, her fame, her power — all of it vanished the moment she lost use of her legs. Now, she's beginning to lose hope of ever healing herself… until her world integrates into the Void. When the apocalypse comes in a flurry of System messages, everyone on earth is given a choice: give up what they value most in themselves, and acquire a path to their heart’s greatest desire. Most would hesitate, but for Liz? She has nothing to lose, and absolutely everything to gain. Armed with newfound powers in a world teeming with monsters, she’s determined to not only survive, but to somehow break the Void’s endless assault. * * * This is a small note about the portrayal of disability in this story. As much research as I do and as many people as I ask, I will in the end only be able to understand a small portion of paraplegia and similar disabilities. Therefore, if there is anything particularly disrespectful, please do not hesitate to contact me. I always intended to portray disability in a respectful way in this story, but please know that Liz as a character does not start out with a healthy view of disability. This is intentional, and a large part of her character development comes from this view changing as she learns. Disability is not something she simply "discards" at the beginning of the story, but an ongoing theme and a part of her journey.

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?
