Few possess the magical insight of this fellow

He’s long known of magic that no mortal ought to know

If only he wasn’t so consumed by his hobbies

He might lead an army to uncounted victories

Oak finished his tea and made his tea cup disappear

The king looked on in dismay and his knights looked on in fear

Many didn’t realize how strong the man’s ears were

And he could only smile as he listened to them whisper

“He talks like he’s above the king and has powers like that

He made our fearless lion of a king look like a cat”

“How come such a man is not our ruler anyways

He alone could end a war in just a couple days”

They whispered of the rumours that he once had served the king

But grew to disagree with his ruler on everything

Running off to live a quiet life in privacy

But it was now quite clear, the reason for his legacy

~ Name: King Beam ~

A King with boundless ambition whose fate is decided

He will always rule the land in which he’s resided

No power, great or small, can ever hope to take his crown

The God of Kings ensures that no power can take him down

Oak had always laughed at how the gods protected Beam

Helping him to establish the kingdom of his dream

Stromland had existed long before his era came

But never had there been a stronger kingdom with that name

“Well, it seems my job is done here, I’ve finished my tea

Somehow the portals seems to have decreased in quantity”

He walked up to the king and patted him on the shoulder

The king then seemed frail, despite not being too much older

“Oak, you know there’s more we need from you before you go

We know that you’re aware the System spoke not long ago

We must have the boy of rumour in our custody

I have no doubt that you could bring him to us easily”

Oak’s big smile was steadfast before the word of the king

But Oak had no intention of conceding anything

“Surely you don’t think a boy could help you with this mess

Don’t tell me you’re acting on some old prophet’s wild guess”

King Beam straightened up, his confidence mostly restored

Exemplifying why he was respected and adored

Even Oak was shaken by the aura of King Beam

Even if he knew he was weaker than he did seem

“It’s clear to us you know the child, and we will have his name

We must know what the System said before the portals came

If you don’t comply, we shall assume conspiracy

Will you defy your king here, where everyone can see?!”

Achievement: Rebellious Bookworm

I’ll acknowledge both your power and your bold nature

Antagonizing this king might be more a fool’s venture

I’ve not met the God of Kings but of the gods I know

He’s a little overzealous, as far as gods go

Oak just laughed and started walking without looking back

“Just be more prepared the next time some monsters attack”

He jumped into the air and seemed to vanish in a haze

The boldness of his actions leaving many in a daze

The King turned round to face the old advisors at his side

Who stood attentively, though still their eyes were open wide

“Find the boy, no answers will be kept hidden from me

Anyone with secrets is this kingdom’s enemy”

His words were cold and resonated clearly everywhere

The skills of leadership carried the king’s voice here and there

And none among the knights who still were fighting the monsters

Even considered not following the king’s orders

Indeed, the boy may hold the answers which you soon will need

As my chosen king, it’s only right that you succeed

The System’s word is final, but your will must be obeyed

As the king, you must know every word that it conveyed

At least, the king thought to himself, the portals have calmed down

But still answers waited for him in some far off small town

Still his messengers had yet to bring back any news

And though he worried for them, there would be no time to lose

He ordered that a unit be composed for a mission

A mobile army given a straightforward commission

“The rumoured boy would be obtained and brought before the king

And death would be the fate of those who thought of resisting”

The army moved according to his will without delay

Weary from the darkness that still hung over the day

But some began to notice something like a red sunrise

But coming from the wrong place, they were quick to realize
