He seemed to have used magic.

Benjamin looked at Felix and me alternately and then smiled as if he understood before he sat down on the couch slowly.

If this had been before I met Claudia, he would have been handsome enough to enchant me with the atmosphere of boredom and danger.

He spoke aloud.

Various effects? I couldn’t understand the real intention behind Benjamin’s sudden remark.

Were there any harmful substances in the smoke?
