The next morning,Neil reached the office earlier to get ready for his work.He was fired up with excitement at the prospect of the challenging takeover.Ryu had done all of the negotiations so Neil needed to get acquainted with all the terms.After a couple of hours of hard work,the employees started filtering in.The Merger and acquisition lawyer had already been messaged for a meeting and everybody could feel a buzz of excitement when they received their agendas and tasks.A meeting had been scheduled in a few minutes and there was a common discussion going on."The shark was on the prowl again.Everyone ws guessing the prey and as soon as they heard the bankruptcy news of the Hu Industries,everyone could guess.

In the meeting room at Lance Inc.:

Neil had already prepared a presentation to help his subordinates understand the situation as well as do their work effeciently.The meeting room consisted of about 20 people who were busily discussing the finer details of their upcoming contracts and arguing about the details and terms to be added.Amidst this chaotic scene there was a knock on the door and the secretary from yesterday meekly opened the door.Going to the head of the table,she went towards Neil's place and said softly,"Sir,there is a delivery for you."

Neil,who was egrossed in his report,did not look up and extended his hand for the delivery.But the secretart cleared her throat and said,"Sir,It is a big parcel and difficult to be brought inside..But there is a letter with it..Would you like me to bring that in?"

Neil,who could not have imagied that Mi Rae would make another delivery simply nodded his head and continued to read."Let the delivery person bring it in."It was not uncommon for Neil to get official parcels at the office so he paid it no mind.At times people would mail full bundles of papers as well making the parcels bigger and heavier.

The delivery was brought in soon by the delivery person followed by the secretary.Looking at the size of the box,the others in the room were shocked into silence.The secretary went to Neil once again and extended the ink envelope.After yesterday's incidence and the secret gift everyone was curious about today's 'parcel' as well as the sender of this parcel.Neil,who had yet to catch on said,"Just read it to me."

Uh oh!The secretary gulped and wanted to run away but she dare not go against her orders.But what if there was something inappropriate in the letter..no what if..looking at the parcel,she was sure there was something inappropriate in the letter.Trembling,she opened the letter and was about to scan the contents when suddenly the letter was snatched from her hands.Neil had just looked up and after seeing the delivery,his eyes widened and he took the letter in a second.The secretary was relieved and disappointed.But Neil's reaction took the cake.The letter in one had and the other hand snatched the big teddy bear from the delivery person and marched out of his office.No one could see the tips of his ears had turned red as he almost ran to his office.Placing the man-sized bear,Neil read the note,"For my cute shark-a cuddly teddy bear.Cuddle with him when you miss me!"Neil looked at the stuffed white bear with a big red bow on it's head which was actually holding a cute baby shark and then back at the note.His mind was blank....

So that is what she meant by wooing!She was going to keep sending such ridiculous gifts to him!But Neil grinned as he looked a the teddy bear.This was a unique experience and he could agree that this gift suited his sense of humor perfectly....

There was something he had not noticed though...Ning Ning had been in hiding even though they had been engaged while Mi Rae was not scared of declaring her intentions.Only when he would notice this difference would he realize the treasure he had gained.

Placing the big teddy on his chair,he spun it around and laughed alittle.He wondered just where did she find this gift!And he was already thinking that he needed to find such a ridiculous gift for as well....

He wanted to stop grinning but he was unable to.Finally,he took out his phone and holding the bear,clicked a picture and sent it to Mi Rae with the caption,"Ms Bear says that she will not let any other woman cuddle with me!"

And pat came the reply,"Then she will be relegated to the recycle bin.."

Neil was still laughing when his phone pinged with another message.This time it was anofficial message.It was time to watch the Hu bankruptcy melodrama!Patting the bear on it's head,Neil schooled his features into a serious face and went outside.Even so,a small smile could still be detected on his lips throughout the day.
