Mi Rae had been in a daze since she left Neil's home.She had thought to get her car toed and repaired before she went to the office but on the car she had received a message from an unknown number."Your car has been held hostage and will need to be ransomed!"As Mi Rae was frowning at this another message from the same number arrived,"Save my number,Neil."Smiling at the silly message,Mi Rae saved his number.She had no idea how he got her phone number but ever since she had known his she had thought that he was omnipotent.He always knew everything!

Directing the taxi towards her office directly,Mi Rae sat back and relaxed.It seemed she would be reaching the office on time after all.She had already messaged her assistant to push back all the morning appointments.As she sat back,Ryu Long's words from this morning came back to her.She had only been toying with the idea of going solo but now that she had an investor,she could maybe take the risk.If the conpany had decided to take a vendetta against her,all her savings would have evaporated even before she could take on a case.Though her company was powerful enough,they would not dare to mess with the Long's so she felt measurable relief at the idea of having Lance Inc. as a backer.

The taxi arrived in no time and Mi Rae rushed up the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator.There was a spring in her step as she climbed up the stairs.Just as she entered the office from the staircase,she heard a conversation that was enough to erase the small smile playing on her lips.Two of the partners who were once her juniors were having a *conversation* with the third and assuring him that he would be the one getting the promotion this time.When the other protested that his female colleague was also good,they just said,"yes,but she is getting married and then bound to leave so naturally the company prefers stable employees.."This attitude and belief angered her so much that Mi Rae wanted to go and bash those people.fuming she went into the pantry and glaring at the three men,fetched herself a cup of coffee.Once again,Ryu Long's offer echoed in her head.But now she did not want to quietly resign.So that other Mi Rae's could face this type of discrimination here.She was going to go out in style and with a resounding bang.The years she had given this organisation without any appreciation!They were going to pay for that with their reputations and their pockets.She was going to need the help of the Long's but not for investment purposes.

Taking out her cell phone,she messaged Neil."Would you be interested in taking a challenging case?It falls under your corporate lawyer banner."

An immediate reply,"How challenging on a scale of 1-10?"

Mi Rae stared at her phone.She did not expect a reply so soon!He must not have any work to do!

"Uhh..I don't know.You decide.Let me know when you are free and we can discuss it over a meal.I owe you one anyway.",she messaged back.

Again an instant reply but much longer,"You already miss me so much that you want to see me again!Then I won't keep you waiting.Let's meet up for lunch!And I have already thought of a way for you to pay me back for the favor last night.By the way,the difficulty scale depends on who all you want to sue and for how much.Since you are going to sur for discrimination and prejudice as well as monetary compensation,it is better if you can take other female workers on your side as well!Just promise them future employment in your firm.And start collecting evidence before filing a case!"

The phone fell out of her hands with a whispered "Omo".As if featuring in a detective movie,she looked around to see if he had some sort of cameras in her office!If she had been in some television drama she would have definitely fainted from shock!How did he know what she wanted to hire him for!All she had asked was if he was willing to take a case!And he already knew!!Omnipotent!she was right,the man was definitely omnipotent!

Pivking up her cell phone,she messaged back,"How did you know?"

"Common sense."With the "Duh!" emotion was the answer.And before she could feel offended,another message popped up,"Now get back to work Mi Rae.No need to find reasons to talk to me."

Mi Rae harrumphed and thought to herself,the man was not just omnipotent but narcisstic as well.

Shaking her head,she called her assistant to send over the paperwork for the case she had taken on and then asked not to be disturbed.Once the assistant Mi Rae got to work.Not to study the case but as Neil had said,collect evidence.

The first thing she did was log into the company files and collected the data of the two people in the pantry as well as the security footage with complete audio.But this could be constituted as personal opinion.That is when an idea struck her.Scanning the security footages that she had logged into,she emailed herself all the videos of the partners.She would scan them at home.

Leaning back in her chair,she then decided to wait for the promotion results.They would be self explanatory!
