As Ryu ignored Alicia's ramblings and got back to work,Alicia fell into a deep medicine induced sleep.She had kicked off the covers as she was feeling hot but soon she started to shiver.Seeing her state,Ryu kept aside his laptop and gave up on work for that night.He covered her with a blanket and went to the washroom to freshen up.Once outside,he went to the bed where Alicia was sleeping.He chose to sleep with her tonight as he remembered her telling him that she slept well with him.Getting into the bed,he carefully maneuvered the still shivering woman into his arms being careful to not hurt her.She immediately snuggled into his warmth and buried her nose in his chest.As Ryu was on the verge of falling asleep,he suddenly remembered an old conversation with an ex employee.Closing his eyes,he recalled the past.

"Assistant Lee,why are you resigning?You have worked here for half a decade with my father.Why not just take a long maternity leave?",a twenty year old Ryu asked his employee.This woman was a good employee and had been loyal to his father and then him.Losing her would be a loss. ​​

"Sir,this baby is my and my husband's rainbow baby.We have been blessed after many years.We do not wish to risk anything.You have also settled into your position and Assistant Yang is very capable so it should not be a problem."

"Alright Assistant Lee,I will accept your resignation.Please know that you can apply again anytime in the future.Collect your severance pay from the Human Resources Department."

Once Assistant Lee left,Ryu softly asked a question,"Assistant Yang,what is a rainbow baby?"

"A baby which is mostly born or adopted or fostered after the miscarriage of a another baby."

Back to the present:

Suddenly,Ryu's eyes opened with extreme alertness.Alicia said that "Ru is my rainbow baby"

This meant that Alicia had suffered the loss of a baby!Just what all had those people made her suffer?Once Alicia was well enough,he was going to ask her about her plan.If he was not satisfied,he was going to take matters into his own hands.He stared at the ceiling and wondered that when will Alicia trust him to open her heart to him.He didn't think anyone knew about her loss.She had buried it deep within her heart.This meant that she was not rambling!She had been talking about her past.Then what she did mean by I purple everyone?Or was that part rambling?Ryu fell asleep wondering ways to torture those people who had made his woman suffer!!

The next morning:

Ryu woke up to and the first thing he did was to check Alicia's fever.Thankfully,the fever had broken and her temperature seemed normal now.He got off the bed and went to check his phone to see if he had missed any calls.Checking the time,he saw that it was still early.He freshened up and made a call to Matt.Ru had been staying with Matt these days but he was sure that the little boy was missing them.He was missing his son too.These few days he had been unable to attend Ru.

On the second ring,Matt answered the call,"Hello big brother..How is my dear sister in law?"

"She is doing well.How are you and Ru?"

"We are both fine but Ru is pretty anxious to meet his mother..He is even now sulking and refusing to eat until he is allowed to meet his mother.I was about to call you and ask to come today..So are we allowed to come?"

"Yes..bring him over."

"Okies..We'll be there in an hour!"

"Hmm"

Exactly an hour later,Matt and Ru reached the hospital.Ru was carrying a big teddy bear with him and was stalking towards the elevators.He was angry at his father and uncles for keeping him away from his mother.He was determined to not talk to them and was ignoring his uncle.How could they ignore him like this!Just let them see!he was going to complain to his mom and then she won't talk to them also!
