As Nurse Mo wheeled Alicia back towards her room,Alicia thought back to the horrendous time in the past.She had finally gathered courage to apply for a divorce.She had hoped to gain a little alimony from Alan Xu as he had duped her of all the money that belonged to her.As she had grieved for her mother,Alan had acquired from her, the house and little money her mother had left.Trusting the wrong man,she had assumed that since they would be spending a life time together signing over her money was not wrong.But he had refused to give her any money for even her basic necessities during their marriage so she had no savings at all.Once she mentioned alimony in the divorce,however allegations had been thrown at her.How she was not of sound mind,she did not contribute anything and her character was loose.She had been able to refute all these allegations but when Alex Xu came forward and testified that she had tried to seduce him,she had been broken.She had trusted him to speak the truth.He had seen his brother's behavior towards her and assured her that he would stand by her side.He had repeatedly said that she was his sister and he would not let her down.But in the end they were all empty promises.She had once again trusted the wrong person and this time she had been shamed in front of the entire town.

If Uncle had not helped her with a little money and sent her here and Neil had not trusted her,she would have been not just destitute but also scorned by everyone and unable to earn a decent living. ​​

As Alicia re lived the past ,she did not realize that the wound on her shoulder had re opened.

Just as Nurse Mo was about to shift her from the wheel chair,she noticed that the Madam's gown was stained with blood on her shoulder.She was bleeding profusely.She urgently turned around and pressed the emergency button.Only after the other nurse and a doctor rushed in did Alicia realize that something was wrong.There had already been a severe blood loss yesterday and now that she was bleeding again,they rushed her back towards the Operation Theater.

Ryu,who had just finished the press conference had a smile on his face as he walked back to his office.No wonder Alicia had a weird expression on her face in the morning.He felt that she was cute with her antics.He was going to have to stay on his toes with this woman.He had not felt this level of excitement since his college days.He couldn't wait to see what she will do next.

Assistant Yang wanted to laugh at Assistant Lu's pranks and at his boss' besotted expression.When the phone had started belting out the song,he had been terrified of his boss' wrath.But after listening to the song,his boss' eyes had been sparkling...he really was like a 'boy in love.'

Assistant Yang knew that his boss would be in a hurry so he had already prepared the files. Ryu was in the middle of reading the last file when he received the call from the hospital that Alicia was in the middle of being operated on again.The security footage showed that she had an altercation with a visitor and that is when she had hurt herself.The hospital did not want to be implicated for not caring for the VIP patient so they had forwarded the footage to Ryu Long immediately.

Once Ryu had seen the video,he was angry beyond measure. Leaving the files as it is,he got up from the chair and not even trying to call Assistant Yang just left the office.He bellowed for Assistant Yang outside the office,shocking the entire posse of assistants and secretaries on the floor.Even Assistant Yang ran outside scared out of his wits.But Ryu Long wasn't waiting for anyone and already entered the private elevator.Rushing behind him Assistant Yang barely entered the closing doors of the lift.

In the lift:

"Assistant Yang,I have sent a video to you.I want to know who the man is and what relation he has with Alicia.These details,hand them to me only and no one else.I want the details by tonight."

"Yes sir.Is something the matter?You seem to be rattled."

"Alicia has re opened her wound and is undergoing surgery again.Send all the remaining files to the hospital."

"Sir,let me drive you to the hospital.I will ask Assistant Kim to bring over the files later."

"Hmm."

Reaching the Hospital,Ryu Long asked one question,"Where is my wife?"
