In the corner of a room,stood a small couch.The couch was no bigger than 120 cms in length and could seat one adlt and one child comfortably. A girl with long black hair was sleeping curled up on this sofa.This girl was stood at 161 cm in height approx and was folded into two to fit on the sofa.

she usually slept on the ground but last night was too cold so she chose to move to the couch since she only had one blanket. ​​

Another person present in the room was sleeping on the huge bed that dominated the room. Suddenly there was a soft knock on the door and the girl woke with a start and slipped off the sofa.Waking up with a start,the girl got on her feet and turned to look at the clock.It was not even 6.00 am.Before she could move however,she felt a sharp pain towards her right abdomen.The pain was so severe that the woman was forced to kneel on the ground.The knocking continued to increase in tempo causing the sleeping man to be disturbed.Angrily getting up from the bed,he glared at the kneeling woman who was clutching her stomach and opened the door.His mother stood at the door.Frowning,she said"Sorry my dear son.I was trying to wake your useless wife.You had to be disturbed because of her."

"Don't do it next time.That piece of useless space is awake.It seems she does not want to work today.She is pretending to be in pain and kneeling on the ground.Take her out if you want to reprimand her but I better not be disturbed.I still have some time to sleep."With that he went back to lie on the bed.

The older woman who was mother, also glared at the girl who was now moaning in pain with her head touching the floor. going to the girl,she roughly pulled the girl's hand and dragged her to the door.Once outside the door she let go of the girl,"Not feeling well,are you?What a unique way of trying to skip your duty.You have to prepare breakfast for all and finish the household chores then you may have time to feel sick but before that do not act."Saying her piece the woman roughly pushed the girl towards the kitchen.

The sudden push woke up Alicia from her sleep with a jerk.She realized the source of her current pain was different this time.Looking around she realized that she was in the hospital.The Hospital!No wonder she had a stupid nightmare.She looked to her right where Ryu was sleeping on a single bed which somehow seemed smaller for his frame.He had changet into a simple white t shirt and black pyjamas. She had told Ryu to sleep with her but he was worried that he might accidentally hit her wound so he insisted on sleeping on the single bed which was laid in the VIP room.Usually no visitors slept in the VIP rooms because the care takers were exceptional.But Ryu Long was not anybody.There was no way he would leave his wife to stay in the hospital rooms.Her stare woke up the light sleeper that was Ryu. The moment he opened his eyes,his face turned towards the bed where Alicia was lying.She was awake and staring at him.But her face and neck which were visible were covered in sweat.Hmm..Seems she had a nightmare.Getting up from the bed,he walked over to the water jug and poured her a few sips of water."Drink up."

Like an obedient child, she took the glass and drank."Are you in pain?Having trouble sleeping?"

Her wobbly voice answered,"Not much pain.I just had a nightmare and now I won' be able to sleep."

"Then what would you like to do?"

"Do?Nothing.You still have work tomorrow."

"Really?My wife is in the hospital and you want me to work tomorrow?My wife will kill me."

"No.She will not.You have a very understanding wife."

*Snort* "No matter how understanding.If I leave for work then she will remember this and use this instance for future arguments.No thank you.I am a peace loving man."

"Hmpf if you are a peace loving man then I am the President of this country."

"Do you want to be?I can help you get your desire."

"Hmpf...no..what if your wife still wants to fight with you because you missed office.You will miss a day's worth of income!Give her that she will be happier."

Bringing a palm to his forehead,Ryu brought the dialogue to an end with,"What men understand about women can fit on a fingernail.So if my wife wishes to fight she may fight tomorrow.For now,let us play cards!

Saying this Ryu went to the bag that Assistant Yang brought and ignoring the fruit inside took out a pack of cards.

Wiggling his eyebrows up and down,Ryu said "Missus,lets play."

Setting up the same table that was used to eat,Ryu distributed the cards to play a round of black jack.Before he could start however confident voice said,"Let's play hubby!You are going to lose all your money tonight."

"Reaaaalllllllyyyyy?",drawled Ryu.

Alicia replied with a nod of her head,"There is only one problem though."

"What?"

"I don't know how to play.Teach me please",a smiling face answered.
