At the breakfast table,both the father's and son's face were red due to laughter.They had been mercilessly teasing Alicia,who was now pouting and ignoring them,and even now could hardly stop their giggles.Alicia was dressed in a cream colored jacket paired with a beige camisole and cream pencil fitted skirt.She was ready for office,where she would start her day as Ryu's assistant-in-training and then later in the day,after lunch, move to train her replacement.The reason for this was two fold.One,there was an important meeting this morning which would be useful for her training.Second,Neil had been continuously whining and messaging her about the incompetence of her replacement.Really that guy had perfected the art of whining!

Ryu was similarly dressed in his usual black suit but paired with a beige shirt this time.Ru was also dressed for school in his dapper uniform.Usually Assistant Yang drove Ryu to the school,and then proceeded towards the office while discussing Ryu's daily schedule. Assistant Yang arrived at 7.00 am sharp and came to stop at the heart warming scene.Alicia was helping Ru wear his school bag and telling him to finish his lunch in school and eat well.Little Master Ru getting the motherly love he deserved was something nobody had dared hope for. ​​

"Good morning Master Ru and good morning Madam."

Ru smilingly ran to Assistant Yang and hugging him,said,"Good Morning,Uncle Yang!"

"We are ready for school!Let's go!"

Alicia smiled at Ru's jovial mood and went towards her bag which she had placed at the door.Ryu had went inside to get something and asked them not to wait.However,before she could follow behind Ru and Assistant Yang,a hand held her arm and pulled her into a hard chest.A taunting voice whispered"Missus,it is our first day of marriage and you are going to go without a goodbye kiss?"

"Aren't we going together?",Alicia asked sarcastically.She was still angry at him for making fun of her.

"Yes,we are...but outside,we will be boss and assistant.I do not wish to have an affair with my assistant!I am specially averse to office romances."

Before Alicia could formulate a reply,her lips were already sealed in a kiss.She kissed him back passionately forgetting,as always,everything else.Pulling back with difficulty,Ryu smacked another kiss on her dazed face and said,"Have a great day,missus."

With that he walked out of the door and proceeded to sit in the car.Assistant Yang was driving as always and sitting on the back seat were Alicia,Ryu and Ru.Ru was again chattering about what they were going to do in school and how he was enjoying.He was looking forward to hi mother dropping him off at school today.

Soon,the car reached the school and with a kiss to both his parents,Ru ran off to class.Alicia.,who had alighted the car to wave goodbye to Ru,then sat in the front,on the passenger seat. Assistant Yang was a bit flustered at this and objected "Madam,you..."

Before he could complete his sentence Alicia interrupted with a smile,"Assistant Yang...Please continue to address me as Assistant Lu.We are on our way to the office now.I am now your junior assistant so please take care of me."Assistant Yang had been an acquaintance of Assistant Lu for many months but did not expect her to be so humble...He looked at his boss in the rear view mirror to see if he approved. Ryu acknowledged Alicia's words with a slight nod of his head,indicating he was satisfied with this arrangement.

Receiving the go ahead,Assistant Yang then started discussing the day's schedule,"Sir,this morning we have a slight change in schedule.There is an emergency video conference meeting with one of the directors of our overseas hotels regarding embezzlement.After this we have a meeting with the investors in country A.Due to the recent changes in country A's foreign investment policies,we are going to have to make changes in the current contract.Assistant Lu,you will also have received these files. Please study these contract and revisions and if you find any mistakes send it over to the respective departments for corrections before you enter the meeting."

Assistant Yang looked sideways and was pleased to see that Alicia was diligently taking notes.It would be nice if she continued to keep her personal and professional life separate.

passing his own mobile tablet to Alicia,Assistant Yang then said,"Assistant Lu,you can use this now for reference.I have set up a different one for you which is connected to mine and will receive all updates that I save here.Please be careful with it as it contains a lot of confidential information."

With this,Assistant Yang continued discussing the rest of the day with his boss while Alicia made notes on the side.They had not even reached the office and already a pile of work had been added on her to-do list.
