With Ru's and Matt's arrival the heavy atmosphere had turned gradually calm.After a hearty breakfast filled with delicious food and Ru's incessant chatter of his escapades with his third uncle,Neil and Ryu went to work. Alicia had applied for half a day off and was to due reach the office after lunch.

A certain someone needed to be taught a lesson.Trying to manipulate a child for her own interests,Aunty Su was soon going to get the punishment she deserved.She had done careful research on Aunty Su and found the woman's weaknesses. ​​

Alicia would have given the woman a chance to explain herself if her reasons had been justified.But Ms Weiwei Su had tried to manipulate little Ru to fund her own interest in gambling.Also,Alicia had found out that she planned to kidnap Ru if he did not agree to her manipulations.By making Ru absent on the day of the custody hearing,she would have turned Ryu into a defaulter and the court would have automatically ruled in favor of the b****.

On the way home,Ru kept up his incessant chatter.He was excited to meet Aunty Su and tell her about how wrong she was in her idea of him getting a new mother.His new mother was awesome and not a witch!

They reached home and entered the estate without any problems.The guards at the gates had already been instructed about security clearance for Alicia.

As Alicia parked her car,Ru had already slipped off his seat belt and rushed out to boast about his mother to Aunty Su.However his excitement was soon like a deflated balloon when the door was opened by a young woman in a maid's uniform.

"Good morning LittlE Master",greeted the maid to Ru.She then turned respectfully to Alicia and bowing deeply introduced herself,"Hello Ma'm.My name is Lucy.I am a temporary housekeeper and caretaker for Master Ru until a new person is appointed by you."

"Where is Aunty Su?",Ru demanded angrily.

"She was really sick so she had to leave for her treatment.Don't worry little master.We will do our best to care for you and Madam."Lucy answered with a strained smile on her face.

Lucy was a young girl who was working here part time during the holidays to supplement her college funds.She had not expected to be promoted so suddenly and then be faced with the wrath of the little master and the future madam.Everyone in the household had been warned about the arrival of future Madam.

"She is my mother",Ru introduced seriously.

Lucy readily agreed with a nod of her head.This seemed to pacify him and quickly forgetting about everything he pulled his mother by her hand to show her his room.

Alicia had schooled her features so as to not show her anger.But inside she was fuming.She had specially told Ryu that she would handle Aunty Su but he had not trusted her to take care of the woman.And on top of that he had not even bothered to inform her of his decision.She was going to be his wife!She deserved to atleast be informed and consulted!Ryu Long,you are so going to suffer!

Ru and Alicia entered a large room decorated filled with toys.In a corner of the room was a big bed in the shape of a fire engine.The side table held a few story books,a picture frame of Ryu and Ru and an empty picture frame.Alicia looked around the vast room and marvelled at Ryu's taste.She had known from Neil that Ryu had personally decorated this room.But this was no simple room ,this was a little boy's heaven!

Curious about the empty picture frame,Alicia picked it up as she sat on the bed.As she looked around with a smile on her face,Ru had already run to his wardrobe ,which covered one side of the entire room and taken out a polaroid camera.

Ru put the camera to his eye and shouted out,"Mother!!I love you!!"

Alicia looked at Ru with surprised laughter and called back,"I love you too!!"

Her laughter was caught on camera by Ru who was ready with his camera.Immediately,the camera started to spit out a picture of her laughing eyes and face.Ru waited for the picture to dry and then going to his mother,he took the picture frame from her hand and put the picture inside.He then placed it on his bedside table and said,"Now the family picture is complete!"

Alicia could feel herself freezing up and the tears in her eyes confirmed one thing,"A child's love could cure every heartache.
