Little Ru who had run up the stairs before his father could complete the sentence did not hear about the ring.Alicia was staring at the ring with mixed feelings..She appreciated the fact that it belonged to his mother and there were sentiments attached but she did not want to wear a ring that had been worn by....

Ryu,being observant as he was,interrupted her thoughts,"This ring had been worn by my mother and now by you.Ru's biological mother has never seen nor is she aware of the existence of this ring." ​​

Alicia sighed in relief at this and admired her ring.She loved the simplicity of the design.Her previous engagement ring had been gaudy and ostentatious but this one was simply perfect.It was irony that a person with very little money had given her a ring with a diamond ,the size of an egg and a man with abundant wealth had given her something valuable to his heart..

She smiled prettily and said ,"Thank you.It is a beautiful ring and wearing it will make me feel as if I have their blessings as well."

Happy with her answer and reaction ,they continued eating in peaceful silence before Ru rushed back with the watch and dragon,he placed them in front of him as if afraid they might disappear..Seating himself,he turned to Alicia and said, "Mother,will you please feed me today?"

Such a simple request..how could Alicia refuse?She immediatelt started feeding him rice and dumplings from her bowl.The atmosphere felt content amd happy as if this family was now complete..Ru was also in baby heaven..His mother was feeding him his favorite food cooked by his father..and knowing his father he knew that the nexr course was going to be sweet rice cakes..

After the lunch was finished,Ryu took out 2 dessert plates and served a couple of rice cakes on it for the two people in his family who had a sweet tooth.Seeing the same lookbof anticipation on Alicia's face that was usually on Ru's his heart really wished that Ru was his and Alicia's son...

Alicia loved rice cakes and this one looked too tempting...Without caring about Ryu's observing eyes,she took a big bite of the rice cake and groaned in bliss..This man should have been a chef instead of the CEO.She was almost envious of him..Was there anything he couldn't do?Taking over a company and making it global at 18 yrs-piece of cake,single father to a 2 year old-bring it on,business ,cooking,kissing..his list of attributes was way too long...She quickly opened her mouth to take another bite and almost foodgasmed..it was soo good!!

Seeing the blissful look and closed in pleasure eyes,Ryu could not wait anymore.Picking up his present he walked behind her chair.He quickly collected her soft hair from her shoulders and tied it up in a knot...He was careful to caress the nape of her neck with his fingers..just to see her reaction and her inboluntary shiver made him smile..

His hot hands caressing her hair and neck made her open her eyes,"What are you doing?Why are you..." Suddenly she felt something cold touch her neck..she looked down to see a beautiful star shaped pendant around her neck..She was mesmirized..Two thin chains had been braided together to look like a stylish rope and hanging in between was a star shaped pink stone the size of a thumbnail and a few diamonds dangling underneath.The entire piece looked as if a shooting star had been caught by someone before it could disappear...As Alicia stared at the beauty now sitting around her neck..Ryu,bent down and after closing the clasp placed a soft kiss on the nape of her neck.That kiss jolted Alicia out of her stupor..she had been scorched by that kiss..It somehow felt evenmore intimate than any other kiss they had shared.However his next words were even more stupifying.He went to her and softly whispered,"Hope you like your engagement present.You,Al are our wishing star and those chains are me and Ru.Thank you, my star."
