Alicia slept a peaceful sleep while a certain someone was suffering from unfulfilled desires.To distract himself,he had been preparing lunch himself rather than ordering takeaway.With this morning's discoveries of Aunty Su's vicious words,he had messaged her to take a leave today.

Anybody who saw this Ryu wouldn't recognize him for the cold man he was known as.In his kitchen,he was preparing a meal for the second time today.Though the food looked and smelled delicious..his thoughts were on someone and he couldn't stop thinking.He was working on instinct and had already packed rice and dumplings and a soup in separate casseroles.He had loved watching her eat.She ate well and did not pick at food the way most of his dates did in the past.He had everything packed and ready and now he was waiting for his assistant to deliver the goods he had asked the jeweller to prepare. ​​

At first,he had planned to simply give her his mother's ring and explain the sentiments but her proposal to Ru this morning had made him feel that she deserved something special of her own as well..Just like his mother's ring,he prepared a piece of jewellery that could symbolize their story in the future.Though it wasn't a love story it could be about trust,hope and care..So he had ordered a pendant for her crafted from the beautiful and rare pink sapphire.He had bought the precious stone last year at an auction as an investment but now he had found a person to gift this to.He had described the design to the designer just a few hours back but due to its simplicity the jeweller promised to finish it in a few hours.

Ryu looked at his watch and wondered what was taking AssistantbYang so long..He should have been here by now!Ryu was anxious to see how the finished product looked and he was anxious to see her.

Ryu was trying to get used to his new feelings.It was only last night that they had met.And since then,they had spent only a handful of hours together but still he felt anxious to see her.He had realized that he considered her -his person since the moment he accepted her conditions.But this anticipation amd restlessness to see someone were new to him.He had seen so many aspects of this mysterious woman that he wanted to know her as much as soon as possible.The only dark clouding marring this beautiful feeling was upcoming custody hearing.He had fought hard to win a full custody last time with no visitation rights.But now even if he won the custody,chances were that woman would get visitation rights at the very least..and she was smart enough to use that against him and his precious Ru!!

His face which had been light with anticipation suddenly darkened at this thought and his sharp features lookedbas if they were carved in stone.Assistant Yang arrived at this moment to see his boss' stony face.He prayed inwardly for the person who was going to face his boss' wrath.He hoped it wasn't him!!It was not his fault that the jeweller had taken so long to deliver the items his boss had requesting.With cold hands and a trembling heart he called out,"Sir,the things you ordered are here"

Seeing the jewellers bag in the assistant's hand Ryu came out of the dark past.Taking the bag,he took out a long rectangular velvet box and opened it carefully.Peeking inside the box his transformed and he had a satisfied smile on his face.Assistant Yang was suddenly curious to know what beauty had his boss acquired that it would make him happy.It must be something more precious than the pink sapphire he had bought last year.Only the thought of acquiring a new asset could make his boss look happy...

Assistant Yang was jolted out of his thoughts by Ryu,"Assistant Yang,I have inconvenienced you by bringing you out on your weekend.Thank you for your hard work.As a reward,I'll ask you to go back to the jeweller and choose any piece you like for your wife and out in on my tab."

Assistant Yang froze in shock at this comment.His boss was not stingy with pay and as a CEO's assistant,he earned enough to be termed rich..but even he could not afford the jewellery from that jeweller even if he pooled his entire year's salary..

Was something wrong with his boss?He was being too generous..Was he going to fire him and this expensive jewellery was a parting gift?This last thought made Assistant Yang laugh at his own thoughts ,he was worrying as if he was a mistress!!Assistant Yang was smart enough to not look a gift horse in the mouth.He had been in the doghouse with the Missus since last week for forgetting their anniversary dinner amd then this morning she had been in a snit over him working a weekend.He was going to get that designer ring he had just seen while waiting at the jeweller's place and he just knew that his wife would forgive him all previous amd maybe a futuristic transgressions!!As Assistant Yang was leaving though he saw his boss carrying a basket with what looked like food casseroles and the expensive jewellers bag towards the side of his house.He could swear he hears his boss whistling a tune..Had he lost his sanity or had his boss?
