Unlucky?Player Chapter 104

"Hey... Luke," a boy said.
He had short black hair, he was around Nate's height meaning he was a bit shorter than Luke. His eyes were violent storm-grey, a fairly fit body, and chiseled jaw. He looked exactly like Luke except for the obvious differences.
"Liam," Luke said as he hugged his brother.
"Hi, I'm Nate," interrupted Nate, he was worried where he would get ghosted once again but more than that he was a little surprised to see a mini Luke and by the looks of it (or should I say Lukes of it haha, sorry) Liam wasn't that much younger to his brother.
After waving back to his brother's friend, Liam pointed to the dinner table, gesturing for them to follow them, "Well it's not too late for breakfast so let's go, we can watch some TV while we catch up,"
"Will Player Night, The Anomaly, show up at the Montreal event? If so will he be announcing or revealing his identity? or will he perhaps be taking part in any of the events planned for the day? what are the possible rewards for winning events?"
Was it a coincidence that the same live-streamed interview was what was playing when Liam switched on the TV? definitely not, but Luke didn't waste this chance to ask his brother about his experience in Genesis so far and the fact that he was earning money. Unfortunately, before Luke could react, Liam's response to the live stream caught both Luke and Nate off-guard.
"Tch, what's so great about him anyway," Liam grumbled.
'Well this is going to be fun,' Nate thought as he looked back and forth between the two brothers.
"Oh? you don't like Player Night? why? Luke asked as he sipped some freshly squeezed orange juice, "and I've heard you're quite the bigshot in the game, tell me more,"

"Ah, it's nothing....he kind of did something but it's not on him, after all, how can I blame someone for just playing the game, it has more to do with my personal opinion," Liam said as he looked down.
'I guess it wouldn't be right to say that I dislike Player Night because of you brother Luke, you see...all your life you tried playing video games or anything but all you got was insults and more obstacles thrown your way, I think it's since then I started to dislike these players who got big just through their immense luck,' he thought as a smile appeared on his face.
Meanwhile, what Liam had said resonated with the two of them, it sounded a lot like something a certain psychotic player had said to Nate while he tried killing him, it sounded a lot like Sephiroth, the unknown player who, just by a little, lost to Night.. However, before either of them could jump to any conclusion, they had to gather more evidence to prove their theory or even support that thought.
"Uh...I understand, how bout' you though? what kind of a player are you? a player strong enough to be able to earn as much as dad? haha," Luke laughed as he continued to nervously sip his juice.
"Oh me....well I believe it or not, I took the risk and managed to obtain a hidden-primary class ahaha, and as for the money part, of course, what else would you expect from someone who's above the first ascensions stage," Liam said as he puffed his chest.
'Considering what Nate told me...it wouldn't be farfetched to assume Sephiroth had a hidden-primary class, this is going to complicate things...' Luke thought.
"Oh wow! that's amazing, must be nice huh?" Nate covered, "where are you in the game?"

Liam did find the questions slightly weird but he figured there wasn't any harm in telling them, sadly he assumed wrong.
"Well, I'm not too far from the Norse Kingdom," Liam said, "I've be-"
"LIAM! LIAM!" Luke's mother's screamed.
"Ah damn, guess we'll talk later, I'm kinda getting late for some work..." Liam said before he stormed off.
"....."
"..."
"Murderers have a schedule as well huh?" Nate asked as he continued to nervously eat his food.
"Hey now....." Luke grumbled trying to cover for his brother, "he's a murderer in-game..."
"Finish the sentence Luke.....he's a murderer in-game who is?" Nate said in a leading tone.
"Obsessed..."
"Obsessed with?"
"killing me...."
"All together now please," Nate said while clapping.
"He's a murderer in-game who is obsessed with killing me..." Luke said in a grim tone,
"My brother...is a murderer in-game who is obsessed with killing me..."
